Grateful hotel near the beach and local attractions

The Marriott Courtyard San Francisco is a wonderful hotel, excellent location for downtown meetings and events. Very helpful and attentive staff.

Very comfortable and available seating to relax. Starbucks on site.

I was pleasantly surprised at how relatively quiet the hotel was, both inside (no slamming doors or noisy elevators) and outside (with the exception of an occasional siren). The room was spacious and well appointed. Whispers, the bar/restaurant downstairs has excellent food and a very friendly staff as well. Do not hesitate to eat in the hotel. Two things to note: 1) I found it odd that there was not a shave / makeup mirror in the room NOR does the hotel have them to send to your room. I have stayed at other JW Marriott properties and they have this option available. Please note, hotel management, that travelers like and usually NEED this and should not have to travel with their own. 2) The bed was hard and lumpy. I think the mattress has seen better days. I did not get a good quality sleep. And no matter which pillow I chose of the 5-6 on the bed, they all smashed flat after about 30 minutes of use. In summation, the hotel was nice, the staff very helpful, the food in the bar/restaurant was very, very good and the location was perfect for my business trip to downtown SF.

Paid $270 for one night. Checked in, asked for a cart since I had a lot stuff, the receptionist said they Ll get one for me. I waited and waited at the lobby, never got one, hauled all our stuff on our own, not really a service considering I paid $275 plus per night.

We stayed here for 4 nights and really enjoyed it. Had a conference at the Moscone Center so this was so convenient. San Francisco is a very fascinating city!

Walking distance to everything... Nice stay! Stayed Night before and night after walked to everything we wanted to do. Valet charge a bit steep but convenience was nice. Definitely stay again!

Arrived on a Fri check-in was quick and easy. SOMA was busy and filled with people. Saturday and Sunday, the SOMA district was deserted and the only negative was that it was difficult to find places to eat within walking distance of the hotel. But come Monday this area was alive again. We would definitely stay here again next time we are in SF.

Extremely convenient, friendly hotel staff, very comfortable rooms. Met all of my family's needs, especially because we had to be at 2 different places, 2 days in a row! Easy to access, 1-Bedroom Suites were designed very well-functional and allowed for privacy. Room amenities very much appreciated. Very comfy beds! Room Temp adjustable-very relaxing! Great stay! Would definitely stay here again...especially for concerts, baseball games, and more Graduations!

Nice hotel good staff comfortable and very clean. Could have a more flexible breakfast option besides buffet only but places exist in the neighborhood.

Decent hotel, good location and value and room with king and pullout sofa was more than adequate for three

Very nice stay. Service could not be beat. This location is close to Museum of Modern Art, Union square and Tadich Grill. I would return to Marriott.

The hotel was really nice and the staff were so helpful and friendly. The room had a great view of the city. We were on the top floor. The room was clean and comfortable and the room staff were friendly and helpful.

The hotel is very clean. There isn't any shopping really close by. I needed to pick up a pair of shorts any stores between the hotel and the ball park. Since parking is always a problem in the City we used the valet. The $57 per night charge gave us a sticker shock. I think that is normal anywhere you stay though. If your brave and want to self park somewhere and walk your luggage in you can reduce the cost of your stay. With the room fee, room tax and parking we were probably in it for a little over $300 per night.

The hotel would be great for a couple but not a family! The room was VERY small when you use the pullout sofa bed. The bedding for the sofa bed had stains or wasn't washed, yuck! I called the desk and they NEVER brought up clean bedding. I had to carry it to the front desk and rescued the new bedding do my kids could go to sleep. The AC never worked correctly. We ordered room service and put the tray in the hall by our door and it was never picked up. It sat in the hall for 2 entire days! The pool is great for toddlers, as it's very shallow! The best part of this hotel is the Starbucks and the close proximity to AT&T Park.

Spent the weekend in San San Francisco to go see some of the sites and attend a giants game. Hotel is within walking distance to AT&T ball park and after attending a night game it was nice just to walk back and crash at the hotel. Hotel is valet parking and has in and out privileges. Hotel room was clean and quiet at night. Would definitely stay here again.

Very clean hotel. The room was very big. Staff was nice. Would say again.

The Hotel went above and beyond, there was some confusion about parking but it turns out parking was part of the package or they added it ither way great place!

Overall, the hotel met our expectations. Parking was a bit tough to find and the hotel offered parking is a bit to expense for us. We didn't get to use the pool but it looked nice. The price for the location could have been about fifty dollars cheaper for the location.
