Hotel Griffon was a pleasant surprise! The location was perfect for all you SF sight activities - most importantly my sweetheart was in Love with view of the Bay Bridge At 5:00 when the sum is coming up, I have never seen a painting that captures the beautiful of a moment like that - the view out of room #506 was simply spectacular!

It is a lovely, waterfront/pier access able property. We had a good stay.

Rude front desk people! Believe Carlos and Editha Saun the manager was nice at least! Lol

Great location, friendly staff, cute hotel. The elevator is small and a bit annoying to cram into with bags. The rooms are tiny which is expected but well laid out. I would recommend this hotel.

My room was barely larger than the queen bed. TV didn't work. Desk was too tiny to be functional (was a work trip). Had a nice view of a brick wall. Expensive. I will not stay here again.

Great location / bar, nice rooms, boutique..... blah blah

We really like this hotel when we go into the city for a Giants game. Great restauraunt, a 20 minute walk along the Embarcadero to the ballpark.

I was able to walk to some interesting locations on the Embarcadero. And the bed was very comfortable. I slept like a baby.I............................................

This gem is near the water, lots of opportunities to explore on-foot, excellent dining (esp in Perrys), and the staff was wonderful. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would definitely return. Just an awesome, open, warm, friendly vibe here that made this southwest Virginia girl feel really welcome!

Griffon has the feel of a classic European hotel. While size is not emphasized, quality is. The hotel is beautifully appointed, the staff is friendly and efficient, and the location is ideal if you plan to spend time near the Embarcadero in San Francisco.

I very much enjoyed my recent stay. Great staff and location. I'd stay more often but the price can vary greatly.

Great staff and hotel. Upgraded room on 2nd night due to tv issues with free champagne.

The hotel worked great for me. It was close to Bart and the office, and the room was clean and felt safe. I also enjoyed that Perry’s was just downstairs and it make grabbing dinner and coffee in the morning very convenient.

The staff at the Griffon is excellent. Every member of the staff was helpful, friendly, and efficient. The hotel is very well maintained and of course the location is great!

Great, little hotel that is close to restaurants. I would recommend to business travelers.

Hotel was great! I was a little apprehensive as the price was quite a bit lower than the others in the financial district but was very pleasantly surprised when I walked into the room. Although the room was small, the décor was very similar to the much more expensive Omni Hotel. The lobby area was very upscale and trendy. Extremely clean and the staff was very friendly. I think this is my new go to hotel when in the city.

If you like the Embarcadero neighborhood of the City this small, custom hotel is for you. Great restaurants nearby.

I was so unhappy with it. Pictures online aren't accurate, don't get your money's worth, they were doing work on the next room over all night.
