Our room was very clean and comfortable! Staff were super nice and helpful too, and the location was fabulous. I wish we'd had more time to make full use of amenities like the gym. The only things I'd like to see to make this a perfect spot are a microwave in the room (but yay for the fridge!) and a wider range of complimentary breakfast options. Thanks Hotel Griffon!

This is a very nice hotel and its location is awesome. You are basically at the Ferry Building and within walking distance to lots of things to do. The restaurant Perrys is connected and has elevator/stair access which is super nice with great food and a lively atmosphere. The rooms are quiet and very clean and nice. They do have a water filling station and ice machines but no in room fridge. I would absolutely stay here again!!!!!

Instead of just giving us another room as we already had one for the first 3 days of our stay. They decided on their own to check us out thus releasing the 200 usd they kept as deposit (which will take 14 days to show up in my account) and then they took another 200 usd deposit for the new booking. The new room they gave us was in front of the elevator and it was terrible. Whoever was coming or talking or making sound was fullly heard in the room.

Perry’s restaurant makes too much noise you can’t even sleep. The hotel has secret charges that you need to be very careful. 25 usd for coffee that doesn’t always exist and some pastries that if you give them to your pet it will not.touch them. Instead of helping the visitors coming late in the hotel with some parking slots so they can go and get some rest they urge them to go to a private parking which is the most expensive around the area by far (100 usd vs 35-40usd). In conclusion not a good choice.

Hotel Griffon is conveniently located across from the pier and surrounded by some good restaurants. Just be prepared to pay at least $38 a night for parking because there is no parking on site. The room was clean but small, we didn’t have any view. A couple of negatives during our stay was, the TV didn’t work and the elevator wasn’t working the night we got there.

Great location near the Ferry building and restaurants, clean rooms, comfortable beds, small bathroom hard to maneuver around. The breakfast was a few regular pastries that you can grab on your way out to a real breakfast. The gentleman that checked me in and out lacked courtesy, I felt like a nuisance rather than a welcomed guest.
