Our room was very clean and comfortable! Staff were super nice and helpful too, and the location was fabulous. I wish we'd had more time to make full use of amenities like the gym. The only things I'd like to see to make this a perfect spot are a microwave in the room (but yay for the fridge!) and a wider range of complimentary breakfast options. Thanks Hotel Griffon!

Hotel Griffon is conveniently located across from the pier and surrounded by some good restaurants. Just be prepared to pay at least $38 a night for parking because there is no parking on site. The room was clean but small, we didn’t have any view. A couple of negatives during our stay was, the TV didn’t work and the elevator wasn’t working the night we got there.

Great location near the Ferry building and restaurants, clean rooms, comfortable beds, small bathroom hard to maneuver around. The breakfast was a few regular pastries that you can grab on your way out to a real breakfast. The gentleman that checked me in and out lacked courtesy, I felt like a nuisance rather than a welcomed guest.

I called ahead and asked for an early check in. I actually received an email offering it. When I arrived I was told a previous guest had a late check out and the room wasn't ready. Staff seemed really indifferent, unapologetic and basically said "oh well." The room was so so, sofa bed uncomfortable. No parking on the premises. I won't be staying here again.

It should be told upfront that you might not get the room cleaned. When coming back to the room at the end of the day finding the room had not been cleaned, was a bit unnerving. Did choose to get clean towels and forget the whole room cleaned. This went on for the 3 days. Had to request to have the room cleaned until leaving. Was not informed that a request to clean the room was needed shouldn’t that be a requirement everyday. That information should have been told at check in.
