It was hair around the sink. Seem like someone just shaved

This place is a dump and I can usually find something redeeming to say in bad situations. One reason I chose it was because “pets stay free,” but, when I arrived, the clerk rudely told me there wasn’t a room available that I could stay in with my dog. She was upset that she’d have to call the manager to ask permission to put us in a room that did not allow pets, so “if anything is damaged,” she said, “you’ll just have to pay for it.” Hearing that, I asked if she could put me in a room that wouldn’t have that kind of scrutiny. She said every room was like that, so I took the one available. The room smelled, there was visible mold on parts of the wall, inside the room and out, only a tiny patch of grass to walk my dog, and noisy construction next door. The staff was extremely rude. In fact, the manager was so unprofessional and crass that I thought he was a hotel employee that didn’t like his job. Not management material. He barely talked - to answer my question about where something was, he just pointed, like it was a big effort for him - and what he did say was like he was talking to someone on the street and not a guest paying for a service he was supposed to be in charge of. When I said I would be complaining to his boss, he proceeded to blame the problem I experienced at his hotel on me. Obviously, he has a lot to learn about business and, until this place cleans up a LOT, I recommend you stay somewhere else. I wish I had read a review like this before I stayed there.

Rooms are small, but clean. A lot of traffic in an out of parking lot all night. The staff where great and friendly. For the price it’s good. It’s a good half way point between flops down Ohio. But beware of area. The microhotel next door has a lot of traffic with interesting clients, one of them set the hotel on fire and evacuated the building at 130 am. If you need to stay in this area the red roof is the best choice. Once locked in my room I felt safe.

Frieda at the front is awesome! The rooms are updated like all Red Roof Inns. Clean and modern. We didn’t really Red fancy hotels for our purposes this time.

It serves the needs that were desired for a late night flight and early travel in the morning.

This is a typical off the interstate low budget hotel. Friendly, adequate facility. like many such hotels, security IS an issue. The parking lot was full of drinking/smoking Mexican laborers loitering around the vending area. The next day I was confronted in the parking lot by an aggressive hustler who followed me to my room.

Doors open to the outside. Not very secure. Low budget old facilities need to be upgraded. No breakfast as advertised other than orange juice and a granola bar. Yes there were bugs in the room.

Very convenient location. Close to Charlotte where we were visiting family for the Holiday. Close to food, shopping and anything else you need. And as is always the case with Red Roof Inns it was very pet friendly.

Hotel staff was friendly and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable. All I need for a nights stay.

Nice room for the money, bed was very comfortable

The United States Disc Golf Championship was the reason for our visit in Rock Hill. We were looking forward to a great trip with a wonderful stay at a simple hotel. What we received at the hotel was a dirty ant-infested room with a leaking and constantly running toilet. We checked the room rates in the area and decided to pay just a little bit more than the basic to ensure a good stay. Staff was pleasant. However, when I asked for a different room, the front desk person told me that was not possible. The ant problem was fixed. And they tried to fix the toilet but were unsuccessful. We will not be staying at the Red Roof Inn in Rock Hill again

This hotel was disgusting. Stained shower floor. It was gross.

Great stay except that the hotel had somehow cancelled our stay before we arrived at 3-4am, even though we called ahead to tell them of our very late arrival. They went ahead and checked us in anyway, however, so that was good. Very minimal breakfast choices.

It was good enough for a quick stay. Clean enough. Not the best but good enough for the price paid

My friends bday weekend ended up great and the prices were even better.

Stayed here overnight between trips to carowinds. No major problems. Room was as expected for the price. Clean. Comfortable. Fridge and microwave were nice to have.

This was advertised as a 3 star. It was the worst hotel ode been in. Ashtrays and smoke smell and perfume trying to cover it up. Holes in sheets and spread. Cigarette burns everywhere. Towels limp and thin.

convenient to highways, nice rooms, clean, wish had better and hot breakfast
