Chenek made the stay very enjoyable the check in and subsequent service was excellent will definitely recommend friends and buisness associates to visit this location I was very well instructed on the amenities of the hotel and provided with all the utensils that come with the stay overall very pleased with everything
It took an unusually long time to check in. They are saying that this had been newly remodeled, if that is so they forgot the room we stayed in! And the grab & go breakfast are look nothing like this!!!! The room was Not clean and after driving 4+ hr during Hurricane Matthew, it SUCKED that I had to clean it! We were given a handicap room and wanted to take a shower after a stressful day, then to only have a TINY amount of room to move around because the handicap seat was broken, wouldn't stay up because it was pulled out of the wall! It was dark, no light in the shower area at All! Moldy shower head that was old as ALL get up, 1990's old and also broken! The handle that adjusts the water temperature was also full of Nasty mold! Now the SO called kitchenette we enquired about before we came, was gross! Oh Figure... A sm table that held the microwave had not been wiped down in what seemed like forever, crumbs and sticky stuff. We couldn't get a complete dishes kit (for 2) or pots and pans until the next day and had to ask for EVERY LITTLE THING! We never ended up using the kitchen because my husband didn't want me cleaning anymore at this point and was so discussed! I also found Blk MOLD under the kitchen sink area and reported that... If we would had seen that 1st before we unpacked we would have LEFT right away! So all the food that I had pack had to be halled back home! Grrr... The oven had cleaner sprayed in it but not wiped fully out! The bedding had burn marks in it and the sheets had hairs stuck in it! The one morning we went down to try the "Continental Breakfast" was a JOKE! Oatmeal & grits but NO bowls, some disgusting no name muffins, granola bars and the DIRTIEST trays holding the spoons/condiments! The pictures that I see they have published are not even close to the room that we were given, as well as the grab and go breakfast didn't come close to the pictures! Sorry, if they're claiming that it's newly renovated, may be a couple rooms but not what we stayed in!
This place was very inexpensive, even compared to similar types of hotels nearby. For an economy type hotel, this place exceeded my expectations. Clean, updated, convenient and cheap. Actually way more clean, updated and safe than I expected! If you are looking for a good place to rest your head, grab a coffee and granola bar in the morning, bring a family and fit very comfortably, do not pass this up. Also, it is pet friendly and plenty shopping and dining are extremely close. Trader joes is about 1/4 mile down the road- that was just another plus.
Although I changed my arrival date and time the staff were able to find my reservation and get me comfortably settled in my preferred first floor room. The front desk staff (Sari on check-in and Curtis at check out) was friendly and helpful. Seemed like I only had to mention a need or problem and it was taken care of quickly and efficiently. We hope to make a return trip when we can have more leisure time (a conference took up most of our days) and will definitely stay again.
Very friendly and helpful staff. They work very hard to make feel welcome, comfortable, & safe. House keeping was prompt and worked hard. JR the maintainace man was very helpful, friendly, and will to fix any thing he was requested.
After having a horror story at 3215 capital blvd (intown suites , formerly sun suites) We came to a lovely extended stay at 921 Wake towne dr! The room was large, clean, pleasant, and a pleasure to stay. We had a sofa bed, flat screen, full kitchen, work/dining table, and a breakfast bar!!! there were the usual amenities, and the staff were very pleasant and accommodating. I would definitely recommend this extended stay, and have would stay here again!!
From the time we checked in and everyday we were there was very pleasant and felt like home. The front desk staff was awesome and tried to assist in every way possible. There is 1 staff member names Sari and I fell in love with him he was so helpful. I have two small babies and he helped me bring the babies inside as well as my luggage. It was clean and smoke free and very quiet..well other than my kids and their ruckus.
