The staff at this facility was great made me feel at home while away from my family. The place was well kept and clean. I will definitely use this place again. This has been my second home during my relocation and they made me feel right at home
Larry, the manager at 921 Wake Towne Drive, Raleigh, North Carolina is by far the most professional employee that I have encountered while dealing with Extended Stay America. I travel for work about 6 months out of the year. Seldom do I ever get to see the manager. This place works like clockwork from the checking in process to the checkout. The hotel is clean and in an excellent location. I'm convinced that it is because of the dedication of its manager.
This hotel is so easy for attending concerts at the Ritz (a couple of blocks away). We checked in with ease, and everyone was so friendly and nice. The rooms are large, very clean and well kept, with awesome amenities such as microwave and table, and the price is very reasonable. Would highly recommend this hotel!
Love the place! Has everything thing you need for cheap. Thanks Chenek! The check in process is a breeze and the complimentary breakfast is clutch. Awesome experience in Raleigh. Close to Trader Joe's. delicious 😋
Front desk was very professional and made us feel valued and they even have us an upgrade after hearing we encountered a rude reservation agent upon booking. Kudos to Lawrence@the front desk. We will definitely stay at this property again.
Stayed here for the night on the way to the mountains. Room was spacious, clean and comfortable. More than expected for the price we paid. Was less than impressed though with the cloud of marijuana smoke filling the hallway near our room and the "continental breakfast" that was offered. We reported the marijuana smell to the front desk staff, who said he would check into it. As for the breakfast, the coffee was cold, and the food that was offered- muffins and oatmeal, needed to be restocked. I expected more from a national chain such as this.
Great place and good price (hotels.com) for our 4 days business stay. The check in went easy with Larry. We ended up on the third floor with our little service doggie. It's nice and quiet up there. The room was spacious and nice dinette eating area too. Had to ask for dishes downstairs for use. But that's ok. They do have breakfast snacks like muffins, oatmeal pkts, and oatmeal , grits pkts and coffee. So if u didn't get to a store that's good. We did that one day. Then I cooked breakfast in room mostly as we hung out. The bed is very comfy too. We got a queen room with sofa. But the sofa is usually Terrible. I think cause they are sofa begs and suck your butt in!! But there was a chair, two office chairs and the two kitchen chairs at the counter so I had plenty to switch off to! Lol. And The Joint ( Chiro ) was across the street along with some great places to eat too! Grocery store too. Although they showed having Showtime we did it get any Chanel past 30. We told them about it and voila... next day we had all!! Thanx Larry. The washers needed a bit of attention but I got my stuff done on thurs with one machine before the wknd rush. So it's all good. We understand things go wrong as we travel for a living & well used hotels things just happen over time. We had an enjoyable stay here and thanx to the staff!!
Needed a clean, comfortable room and they delivered. Very helpful front desk at check in. The only reason not getting 5 stars is that there was the faint smoke smell in the hall and room although building was designated nonsmoking. I reported it upon checkout, but didnt ask for a change of room when i first entered because it was not offensive enough to me for just an overnight. Price was very good.
Since we have a dog our options are limited on where we can stay. This hotel accepted dogs so we took a chance after reading reviews. Pros Price Kitchen Large suite Great location Comfortable bed Clean sheets and pillows Decent tv Accepted dogs Friendly staff Washer dryer on site ($2 to wash, $2 to dry) They provide basic kitchen necessities upon request Non smoking (see below) Windows open! Plenty of hot water Cons Hallways reek of smoke. (We opened the windows and lit a candle in our room and put the bed cover against the cracks under the door. Furniture beat up (but again for the price that didn't bother us) Doors constantly slamming and people walking around outside talking in their cell phones Parking was tough a few days we were there. You can smell what people are cooking. Our sink constantly leaked in bathroom. Then it wouldn't shut off. They came right up and fixed it. Water pressure wasn't great We wiped down all surfaces with Lysol wipes. Overall for what we paid I feel it was a good value. Nice walk to the bottom of hill and shirt distance away is Trader Joe's and all types of restaurants. Great location central to all. If they could get rid of smoke smell (not sure if people smoke in their rooms, or if it's very old carpet in hallways that smelled or a combination) and enforce no smoking I think it would boost this hotel up immensely. I would be willing to pay a little more for a fresh smelling hotel. Would most likely try a different extended stay due to smoke situation. In reading reviews before we went we were at least prepared for that
The hotel is located in a quiet area but not far from downtown and major shopping and eating areas. Room was clean and up to par. Only stayed the weekend for a birthday gathering, but room was perfect as far as space for what we needed
