The tap water was cloudy/milky looking and tasted weird. There was no trash can in our room and the temp controls did not work.

Friendly staff but area uninviting at the moment with lots of construction. Glad the property is getting a makeover though...it has aged tremendously since I was here last. Breakfast yummy and we loved the breakfast lady too. :)

The stay and staff was great. They were renovating so it was messy but that is understandable. The area was a little sketch but not too bad. I had a good time and would like to come back.

The property is old and dirty. The room smells like mold. The shower curtain was dirty and was not changed. Never going back to this hotel.!

If you see "breakfeast included" when you book or on the screen you're going to book from, take a screenshot. I selected this hotel with breakfast but after i booked the room it did not show up on the receipt. At check-in i was told breakfast was included. The next day they had no record of it. So i didnt eat at the hotel. The pool is great and clean. The river is beautiful but you just sort of walk up and look at it from afar so its not really an attraction unless youre into big rivers that you cant touch. The place is a little dirty inside and out, Black mold on my shower curtain and shower walls. Beds were ok they were just never made daily like in other hotels. I had no room service or cleaning of my room my entire stay of 4 days. I took out my own trash to the dumpster. There isnt much in the hotel area but its about 20 minutes ride from downtown. The place has a cool vibe but its just outdated and not the cleanest. Room felt like an overpriced motel. But i may go back there again

I was not advised about Undergoing Renovation and resulting debris and dirt on the floors. No showers nor bathroom at the Pool area. Food was tasty and restaurant staff friendly, longer hours for bar and pool and view would have been nice! Due to COVID?

This was not a cheap room. Up on check in we were informed that the elevator was out of service. The bar was closed early and the restaurant

We pulled up around midnight to find drug deals in the parking lot next to the homeless camp. Did not feel safe. Our room balcony overlooked the homeless camp. The bathroom was filthy with tons of dead bugs, flies, etc. had to clean the shower. A piece of broken glass on the floor. The next day, they changed us to another room that was a little better, overlooking the tennis courts. A lot of traffic noise from I-5. The hot tub was closed. Breakfast was good but there was no room serviced even though it was advertised on the orbitz website. Next time we head to Hayden Bay, this will not be our first choice of places to stay unless we have no other option.

We stayed at this hotel for one night for Father’s Day getaway and the next day found the catalytic converter on my SUV got stolen in the hotel parking lot. We reported it to the front desk and learned another guest’s car was stolen during the same time. The front desk said there’s no camera in the parking lot and they had no responsibility for the stolen. They gave us a Portland Police link to file the report and that’s it. It seemed that they were used to this kind of cases. They did not really care —- that’s how we felt. The police there was way too busy to take care of such a small case. We left without hearing anything back from the police. Anyway, the whole Portland is still messy and dangerous. We stayed away from the Downtown but still could not get away from crimes.

Pretty old hotel. The room was not bad. But it is next to freeway and it was noisy. The hotel is on the river itself, but there are no trails or access to the river. It could've been better.

Wouldn't stay there again!

Nice being on the Columbia River

The rooms were not made up each day. The food was good. The Staff were friendly and helpful. I think there is a lot of potential in this property. They may be suffering capital or staff shortages. I would stay there again.

I don't even know what to say, I've never had a hotel experience liked this. Called ahead TWICE to confirm that a Pack N' Play crib would be available for our use since we were flying in from Chicago with 2 babies. On the phone I was told they had plenty available and would add a note to our reservation about needing it. When we arrived, we again asked the front desk and were told "I don't think we have those anymore." My husband mentioned how we had called and been told they were available, and the front desk agent said he would look into it. Much later someone knocked on our door and dropped one off, of course plenty after our kids bedtime. We also asked the front desk upon arrival to our room if we could switch to a room with a bathtub since we have two babies and showers are really not ideal. We were told "I don't know if we have any, we're phasing out tubs with the renovation." Followed by silence. So I then asked the agent if they could check. He said yes, I will call you back. We never received a call back the entire week we were there. And two friends of ours who had also reserved a room for that weekend informed us they had a tub in their room!! In addition to this blatantly poor customer service and lack of family-friendliness, we also never received ANY housekeeping services the whole week we were there. In the middle of a pandemic nonetheless. Not to mention vending machines were completely empty, and construction going on the whole time we were there.

Fridge in room became very loud in middle of night and woke us up several times. We ordered breakfast in morning with my husband ordering biskits n gravy and he didnt get the gravy. Also, we thought there was suppose to be a continental breakfast that was part of our hotel price.

Thank you so much for your feedback. We are so sorry about the breakfast confusion and will look into what Expedia is showing on their site. I am also sorry about the miscommunication, but during Covid we are not going into guests rooms to remake the rooms just for the safety of the guests and the employees. I will speak with whomever checked you in because they should be sharing that with our guests. I have also let our housekeeping staff know about your restroom. That is never acceptable, and will be addressed immediately. We hope we can have you back soon!
