Great downtown location and close to lots of shopping and restaurants. Close to the max line, too.
Mislead me at counter and double charged me for room. Then tried to cut me off while I sought clarification telling me “you have to pay for the room and I need to help other people” after already acknowledging that he had received the money from the Orbitz/Expedia charge.
The location is good. The room was clean and nicely updated but if you are in town on business and would like to work from your room this is not a good option. The wifi was fast but the work table was small and not flat. The chair was too low and uncomfortable for working. Overall it was a fine place but I won't be in a hurry to come back unless their price is substantically lower than others. They tried for trendy and hip but missed the mark; the first time I walked to my room I wasn't sure if the hotel was trendy or a place that rented rooms by the hour. The hall is painted a dark blue and the lighting has all been replaced with colored lights of various pastels that give the halls a dimly lit feel.
Everything is very new and very clean, and the location is great, in the middle of downtown, and everything is walk-able. But the rooms are much smaller than I expected, and things are simple for the price. Not sure if I liked the check-in at a bar, where I had to wait for people to get a cocktail and make a pizza at the bar before asking about check-in. Also, street noise was rather quiet, that was good, but one wall was not good, and I could hear all the music and TV from the next room, and when they opened the window, it sounded like they were opening the window in our room.
Great place to stay for the cost. Cool vibe, friendly staff, and great location. Walking distance to shops and restaurants. Would stay there again.
