Fast and easy checkin, friut and cool drink at checkin was nice. Met all our needs with quiet room on a high floor in the hotel.

Great location. Friendly staff. Restaurant on site.

Spacious room, friendly stuff, (Sean at front desk, was excellent, very attentive) great location.

A group of us stayed at Dossier while in Portland for our friend's wedding. Part of the group arrived around noon. I arrived ~3PM hoping to check-in and get ready for the evenings' wedding festivities. We pre-checked in, but we were informed that our room was not ready and that the official check-in time was at 4PM. We came back at 4PM and the room was still not available - our group waited in the lobby until 4:30 and none of the rooms were available; yet, folks that arrived after us were given a room. We ended up changing in the lobby restroom and leaving for the rehearsal without having a room. Part of the group arrived back at 6:30PM prior to the rehearsal dinner to check on the rooms and none were available. This was incredibly disappointing. Our room was also not cleaned the following day while we were away at the wedding for unclear reasons. And another couple in our group ended up needing to switch rooms due to a leaking ceiling. Upon check-out the front desk manager did waive the resort fee for my room; the others in our group (who checked out later in the day) did not get their resort fees waived.

This is a super-nice hotel. The only thing that would make it better is an in-room coffee maker.

Being in the center of downtown was very convenient

Very visible black mold was all over in the walls and corners of the shower booth.

Everyone was super nice and friendly. The hotel was beautiful and was easy to access down town Portland.

great from start to finish- highly recommend. great rooms and great staff.

Front desk folks were disinterested in providing info/services. There was no luggage rack, and when requested they never gave one. The rooms were dark with inadequate lighting

I have stayed in many places but the Dossier is a classic hotel. It represents what all hotel should strive for. There are too many so called hip, botique hotels these days, and they don’t even compare with the Dossier . Style is still alive in 2019 at the Dossier. I will be staying here again .

Rooms were well-appointed, decorated tastefully and felt very much like a fine European hotel with very modern bathroom facilities.

Very welcoming. High quality room. Nice to be able to open window..

They have loaner bikes, the tires were very low and the desk staff too busy, perhaps the valet could hold a pump in his kiosk.

A couple of mishaps for sure, and looks like a busy weekend stay. Sincere apologies and thank you for sharing. We will work to improve the services from your feedback!

Definitely noted Shira, something we are actually working on for 2020, a Portland proper in room coffee experience!
