Dossier is my go to hotel for my trips to Portland.

So nice to have "fresh air" in my room and not recycled air, so stuffy! Room service was wonderful! Entire staff, friendly and helpful. The bed was super comfortable, great shower..... Entire stay was great.

Stayed here three nights to explore Portland and take in the eclipse. Hotel staff were young and friendly and very helpful, especially with lunch and dinner suggestions. Room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. Municipal parking is available a block away for those that rent a car which is cheaper than valet parking. Portland is a great city to experience with great food and a good vibe. In hotel Italian restaurant delivered a strong performance - and thats coming from someone who lived in NYC for several years and experienced great Italian food. Overall a solid choice to consider if staying in the Portland area.

Understanding the change from Westin to Dossier, this hotel is not ready for business travelers. Couldn't even get a coffee in a to go cup. NOT worth the $400 I paid for my room plus parking. I would avoid this property.

The hotel was very clean and the room was nice. The problem was the resturant was under renovations and the hotel was i the middle of changing ownership , staff was a little overwhelmed .

After figuring out that the Westin was renamed to Dossier we had a great time there. Parking was super pricey at $45/day plus tips for valet parking. Only 1 bathrobe in the room, but the beds were remarkably comfortable and the pillows cloud-like. Overall it was a good stay in Portland.

First of all, the hotel was under renovation and there was no warning on their website or Orbitz - and there still isn't as I write this. I reached my rooom at 10:05 pm and went to the 24 hr room service menu to order, but was told that they had to stop room service at 10pm. Locked fridge and wasn't even offered that option, really?. Maybe it was empty, maybe not. OK, do you at least have a vending machine in the hotel, No, Where is closest food - Target or CVS. Really, oh there is a bar nearby. I am a single woman and did not feel comfortable walking alone at night to a bar in a strange city. The bed was OK, but the pillows so puffy and soft that your face gets almost covered when you lie down into them. Heavenly? if you're dead. Again no options so I just used a folded bath towel The hotel tries to be upscale and had a Nespresso machine....but I can't drink expresso, its too strong for me. No option for just regular coffee. I had brought my own English breakfast tea, but they only provided little tiny expresso cups and the machine only produced a tiny amout of hot water at a time. Bummer. Had to use the crystal glass, but then the water was lukewarm after running machine twice to get enough water for tea. The last straw was that I asked for a 2pm checkout (as an SPG member, allowed late checkout to 4pm). At 2:10, the maid service opened the door using the master key WITHOUT knocking. Luckily I had the safety latch on. Now that is just wrong!

The hotel is small by Westin standards with few ammenities especially since they were renovating the restaurant. Lots of construction next door and homeless people sleeping outside with the accompanying stench. It is in the heart of downtown easy walking distance to many Portland downtown attractions. Staff were very professional but the fruits available for breakfast were not very fresh on most days

close by to restaurants, various districts of Portland. bell hops/valet guys were very helpful with directions and places to see, eat

The hotel was undergoing a renovation when I stayed there and it was not very pleasant.

Nice hotel. The staff were very attentive. Will stay again.

It felt more like a double tree then a Westin. There was no bar. Lots of construction. Small rooms.

our flight leaving was possibly going to be canceled and the staff was very accommodating with a late check out.

I was in Portland for a conference, and chose to stay at the Westin. The hotel was centrally located, just a few blocks from the conference venue. It is also very close to tons of things to do in Portland, and very near the light rail lines. The room was great, especially the bathroom. The bed was comfy with soft pillows. I had a corner room. It was very nice to stay there. I didn't take advantage of room service or other amenities. I did use the free wireless. This was good enough for checking email and doing Facebook, but you won't be watching YouTube or Netflix on it.

The staff is very friendly and knowledgable about restaurants and things to do in the Portland area. The beds are wonderful.

After 2 calls to try to fix temperature, no one was ever sent. The hotel did let me borrow an IPhone charger and they waived my mini bar charges due to the room discomfort. The MOD had said he would email me and never did.

the hotel was great I recommend to to every one, great location, excellent service.

It's good that it's close to the Max. I had a conference at the Moda Center. It would be nice if there was a small refrigerator & coffee pot with tea & coffee in the room. The beds were great. Shower was wonderful. It's clean. Staff was helpful & friendly. Vallet attendance was great, gave wonderful direction. Restaurant was to expensive for the amount of food that you got. Although the food was good.

Great location near train and good food in the Grill.

The Westin has been remodeled since our last stay (5 years ago), rooms were adequate, beds are truly superb, room was very quiet, spotless and kept at the perfect temperature. The front desk staff was very helpful and extremely friendly, during all hours of the day/night. I would definitely stay here again!

I am very sorry to hear that we missed the mark for you. During our transition we were still getting things in order and we missed some items on the list, but I'm happy to report your next stay will include all the amenities you would require, complimentary WIFI, complimentary printing and copying services, paper cups to go at every hotel venue and a guest experience staff able and ready to help arrange anything you need so that you can focus on the most important items on your list. I hope you can give us another chance to show you this and everything else we have put into place since your last stay. Sincerely, Zach Miller
