Very nice accommodation and gorgeous city views from floor 20 and up. All rooms should have a refrigerator that’s not sitting on the floor. Bathroom doors are a little weird—glass! Overall, glass dominates the room and provides picturesque views.
3day conference at Hilton with great room amenities, clean, professional service staff that really is outstanding; in particular -Paul in security, Gustav in the restaurant, Chris and Ghada at front desk, and concierge, Robert. Look forward to returning.
Great and courtesy staff. They addressed an issue with my room that had loud electrical noises. Placed me in a room the next day with text messaging to assist with the transfer. Staff already knew my name when i approached the counter although it wasnt the original person i had been corresponding with. Great service!
The hotel is nice, clean, and modern. Giant TV and bed felt even larger in smaller rooms. Vista views of the city from the very large windows that stretch from wall to wall. The bathroom was a little small too, but perfectly adequate.
I had a conference in town and selected this hotel to stay for 3 nights. The hotel is conveniently located close to the MAX so it was an easy trip from the airport and the conference center. Check in was quick and the desk staff was very friendly. The room was nice and clean with a very large TV and cozy bed the only thing I wish it had was a mini fridge. I used the gym every morning and it had the equipment I am used to having at my home gym so it was nice to get a work out in. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.
stay for a business trip, nice hotel, clean room, super friendly staff (always #1 factor when I rate an hotel). I didn't like the food from the restaurant though, beer choices were good. But it is ok as there are so much good restaurants that you can walk to. location is great!
Pros: helpful staff, gym had decent equipment although it wasn't readily ascertaibsble where it was and the in room guide had zero info about the gym, even whether there was one Cons: My room was at end of a hallway. Apparently a huge water pipe went thru my ceiling because I was woken up multiple times by the loud sound of water running. Speaking of which, the water pressure was way too high. I'm from California where we conserve water. Here there was no way to adjust the shower blast which was like a fire hydrant. And the bathroom counter area was tiny, and the sink design was such that no matter how hard you try, you can't even carefully wash your hands without getting water all over the counter. Room was too dark, including bathroom. Not enough lights/lights not bright enough. And no fan in bathroom. Ice was in closed room in hallway with heavy door. Kind of scary as a woman. Fan blew way too high on lowest setting. I had either too much heat or too much air if I tried reducing temp. There was an annoying extremely bright red light across from the bed. There was no switch to turn it off and unplugging cords didn't help. I had to hang a black tshirt over it.
Great location. Very close to all of the downtown amenities and restaurants. Very short trip to zoo and museums. Rooms were clean and staff was very attentive. Rooms were a little small for our family, but overall a great value for the location. Highly recommend.
Aubrey from catering did a great job at our meetings during the week we were in Portland! The rooms in the hotel were a little small but the staff and service was excellent! They have a great service where you can text when you have any issues or needs!
This well appointed hotel is situated in the heart of Portland near all the urban highlights, but also with quick access to other less central sections. Close to the light rail link which connects to the PDX airport. Great restaurants and brew pubs nearby and ready access to shopping, not the the least of which is Powell's Books, a 10 minute walk away. A short six blocks to running or walking on the riverfront. Staff is helpful and the small lobby restaurant is good.
