staff very helpful. evening happy hour a plus. convenient to air port for travelers.

It was great rooms were every nice. Frount desk was awesome.

The hotel was nice and the staff very courteous and professional. The kitchen staff and gentleman that brought our dinner were fantastic and the food was UNBELIEVABLE! You must try the halibut! Great place to bring the family.

The first room I was assigned had a strong bodylike odor. When I went back down to the reception desk, the hotel representative said they could spray the room with Lysol...which I declined. I was then assigned another room, but that room also had a smell although not as strong. I was at the hotel because I had booked the Pine Banquet Room to hold my wedding ceremony. I selected to Embassy Suites because I had been there several years ago and pleased with what it offerred...things have changed. The condition of the rooms put a damper on my wedding stay and was a downer!

Stinky rooms. Had to ask to move out to a different room. The second one was a touch better. Had to spill lots of parfumerie everywhere to be able to make it. Chewing gums stuck to doors. Carpets with holes. Leaking ceilings. Just sad.

Hotel was great. Friendly and professional staff.complimentary cocktails & snacks in the evening. Spacious, clean , comfortable rooms. Only complaint was the in room phone was old and not working so when I kept trying to call for a wake up call, it sent me to my voicemail . Next morning they tried to charge me for phone calls. After explaining the charges were removed.

We came to Portland to visit family, and this was a convenient location to commute to their house. In most respects, it met our expectations. Great breakfast! Our only complaint was with the housekeeping. I found a couple items on the carpet, left over from the prior tenant. Nothing too gross, a false fingernail and a sequin, but shouldn't they vacuum when someone new arrives? Rather than replace the glasses each day, they just put the plastic caps back on the used ones. I was surprised find one evening to taste yesterday's wine in my glass of water! They were fastidious, however, about cleaning up and throwing out items we planned to reuse to pack our toiletries, i.e. plastic bags and the box for a portable Water Pic and attachments. Since we visit often, we may give the place another try but will definitely look for improvement.

Loud neighbors (not the hotel's fault), not super clean. Hot tub wasn't heated.

Near hotel but amazing waterfall in hotel and views. I loved the stay tremendously and can't wait to go back!

Everything was great. Large comfortable rooms. Breakfast was above average with made to order omelettes. The only thing I can criticize is the bathroom vent system left the bathroom steamy.

Perfect for travelers and families. Great breakfast

Room smelled faintly of smoke-got another room next to it same problem so I just accepted it... Nice size to suite. Would highly recommend if it smelled better.

I was assaulted 3 different times while standing in line at breakfast. I was shoved with intense force, to the point where I was blocking my face because I was unsure if I was going to get hit or not. I had butter throw at me.. Yes, it's true. At least three people went to get security, they made complaints about the police not being called and these people getting kicked out of the hotel. At least 50 people witnessed this event as I stood there enduring the words and physical actions of another person, including my husband and children. The front desk manager Jordan simply said he was sorry and to let him know if he could do anything else.. As if he did something in the first place. Nothing, not a slap on the wrist, not a call to the police, not a comp on my room.. Nohing, they weren't even kicked out of the hotel. I and 2 strangers who came to check on me were appalled at the actions of the hotel and manager. I had just come from my fathers funeral the night before and was in no place to emotionally deal with what was happening.. We got the names and numbers from our witnesses and checked out.. We won't be back!!

The hotel itself is super nice. My two small complaints are, the pool had a lot of chlorine! And the hotel beds are very firm and bouncie, you or your partner move the whole bed shakes. Other than that the hotel was very clean, very pretty and customer service is excellent.

Great hotel!

The hotel and staff were excellent. The breakfast was excellent with a very attentive staff. Evening reception was a good place to settle down in the evening. The only problem I had was having to pay for wifi.

Room was spacious. Breakfast always very good at Embassy Suites.

For what I paid for one night I expected better. The atrium is nice. The food selection on the menu in the restaurant was poor. I expected better food since I was in Portland. Something organic, not your typical high fat, restaurant food. Then there were the wake up calls. I did not ask for a wake up call but beginning at 4am I received three wake up calls in a period of 15 minutes. So much for a good night's sleep. Next time I need a hotel in Portland I will try somewhere else.

I had just dropped my husband off at the airport(he works out of state) and had 5 of my children with me, the room was perfect it had a living room and a separate bedroom with lots of space. The staff was very helpful at the free hot breakfast bar. They were very respectful! I would definitely be staying there again in the future :)

This may not be a "five star" hotel but it definitely does the job and does it well. The staff are friendly and polite; the room is clean, nicely appointed, comfortable and (very important) safe. The location, near the airport, is excellent and the hotel is also close to restaurants and shopping. If you are traveling with a large group, this is definitely one to consider. It's an inexpensive (overall), safe, clean and great place to stay!
