Balcony room was noisy. Even though doors were fully closed and locked we could still smell Marijuana and other smoke in our room.had to keep the fan running most of the time to help circulate and aleviate the smell. Multiple altercations/noise during the night (sounded like fights?) Across the street in the park. Other tjan that we were happy with the property.

The Paramount offers a very nice location and excellent service. Everyone who worked there - valets, front desk, servers and tenders at the bar - were extremely nice and welcoming. I enjoyed my stay thoroughly and would recommend a stay to anyone else. The room was nice, the space clean and cozy. Would come again

The location is super, there is a park across the street, food and max rail stop are walking distance. The staffs were nice and helpful. The bed and pillow are nice. The only downside is the coffee in the room were not taste good. One time when I asked decaf, she gave me starbucks, that's nice. They should put starbucks in the room or similar. Highly recommended.

The Paramount Hotel in downtown Portland, Oregon was a great stay. As a solo traveler - it's often hit or miss with safety. The hotel is downtown - this means there will be miscellaneous traffic; I.e. homeless, people with mental health issues, and drug use. However, this was not overwhelming. No one approached or bothered me. I felt safe. If you are at all uncomfortable with this type of downtown life - you may reconsider. That said - the hotel is very nice. Clean, the staff very helpful and friendly. This is very convenient to restaurants, METRO and very walkable. There are 2 restaurants (with bar) in the hotel. I had a complimentary food ticket and the brussel sprouts were delicious. The rooms are clean and quiet (there was a little discomfort with the bathroom - because you can still see where the bath mat was). But OVERALL this was a GREAT hotel stay! Enjoy. peace.

We absolutely loved our stay at this classic modern hotel! From the moment we checked in, the staff was incredibly warm, professional, and helpful—especially the front desk team who made both check-in and check-out smooth and welcoming. The room was beautiful and thoughtfully designed, with the perfect temperature for comfort. The beds were so cozy that we slept wonderfully. One of our favorite features was the oversized bathtub—plenty of hot water and the perfect way to relax after a long day. Overall, everything about our stay exceeded expectations. The hotel is stunning, the atmosphere inviting, and the service exceptional. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.
