I requested a room that was "light and bright" and that was exactly what I was given. It was room 901and I was delighted that it was a spacious corner room with 2 windows and a view. Couldn't be happier with the room and with the service.

Almost everyone was super helpful and pleasant. Loved the decor. Great restaurant and bar.

The rooms smelled bad. I switched my first room, but the second smelled the same. Old? Carpet needs to be changed?

Nice place. Right downtown. clean and friendly. Wish they had a breakfast.

Easy quick check in with polite, professional staff and a good sized, immaculately clean room. Hotel location excellent and in the heart of everything.

If you need a central, affordable and safe place to drop your hat while exploring Portland, I recommend The Paramount. It's located in the heart of downtown, with many attractions within walking distance. Though the hotel provides excellent customer service and the basics, it offers little more. And though it's tidy, the property appears a bit tired, as did our room. So, if you're looking for a chic room, views and little extras, I suggest that your pass on this one. Also, it's best for travelers who don't require parking, as the property doesn't have parking facilities on-site; however, it does it offers valet parking at costs $43/day.

Great downtown location, great bar downstairs, friendly and helpful staff!

Lots of nearby restaurants and attractions that are within walking distance. Super friendly hotel staff and valet is always very quick with retrieving the car. Love this hotel!

Great hotel!!! Wonderful fitness room. Paid parking

Comfortable and great location and service Would stay there again next time in Portland

Close to trains and shopping, and food pods. I could walk to blue star donuts, luc lac, and target. Pricy but it’s because of central location.

Wonderful hotel, friendly staff, amazing experience!

Spacious and comfortable room, great staff, great location near transit, amenities, and shopping. Our room was near the elevator, but this did not cause noticeable noise. We could hear voices in the room next door and some early-morning street noise from Park Avenue, but overall we were very satisfied.

Rooms very average for a hotel that refers to itself as luxury. Outdated and worn decor- curtains, carpet, console. Lock on bathroom door entirely missing. Beds too soft (one sagging and making a ridiculously loud squeak every time sat on), pillows lumpy. NOT luxury. Modern lobby NOT reflective of room, which was same as any cookie cutter box hotel. Breakfast downstairs at attached Swank worst meal we had in Portland. Front desk staff were polite and friendly.

Overall, the experience was nice and location was perfect.
