The hotel didn't have wine or beer late night or food available after the Bruno Mars concert which was disappointing otherwise good.

I prefer the free breakfasts offered by less pretentious hotels. Also, a free current newspaper would have been welcome instead of a four day old one offered in the breakfast room. And the taxi we asked the desk clerk to order our last night did not show up the next morning. However, the "bellhop" responded quickly to this mishap.

The location was perfect for me as it was right next to one of the transit stations which made it easy to get to and from the airport. There is also a mall nearby. I would definitely stay here for next time I'm in Portland.

On a previous trip, I had the opportunity to eat in the bakery. It was wonderful. My advice – stop by and get your food to go but stay elsewhere. The most problematic intersections were with the way in which they handle their valet parking. At night, the lot is completely unsecured and you can walk down. In fact, arriving st 11pm our poor car was left in front of the hotel with the keys in it until a valet was available. But during the day, expect to interact with their valets who happily take any money you have as their due (tips used to feel more optional). Even if you need something simple like a medication from your car, the valet has to bring it up to you.Normally, that would not have been such a huge issue. But my partner is disabled and when we tried to get them to understand that we needed the car parked somewhere where he could walk to it after breakfast, at this proved too complex. We were told we were not allowed to park either of the two disabled spots (despite our disabled plates). And there is absolutely no seating while you wait for your car. The room was also a very poor quality. There were many options to buy bottled water but the bed was awkward to get into and not particularly comfortable. Certainly there was no way to either work or lounge in the room. And having to move furniture to plug in your cell phone or a CPAP it's not what I expect from a modern hotel. Over all, the place felt tidy and surface clean but with an air of griminess. See photo.

The noise level was a disaster!!!! We were on the 5th floor so between the restaurant located on the 6th floor. Ring noisy until 11:30pm and then delivery trucks until 4 am... it was miserable!!!

Very nice hotel, classy, comfortable and well run. Staff was efficient and very friendly, room although a little small was very enjoyable. Amenities made for a stress free stay. Top floor restaurant and lounge was quite good. Easy in and out from freeways and next to public transit. Highly recommend it

Stayed for two nights to be closer to family events for Christmas. Booked a downtown Portland view, it was beautiful. Very easy, fast check in. Valet parking is top notch, staff are at your service very quickly. Love the rooftop restaurant, great food, view and service at very reasonable prices.

ThIs hotel is located across the street or the convention center, couldn't be closer. Unfortunately the metro gets loud at night. The restaurant on the roof is tasteful in decor and food.

I was attending a convention at the Convention Center, which is right across the street. Location was very convenient and made for the best use of my time. Staff was very helpful and rooms and facilities were perfect.

Check in was smooth, and room was clean. Nice conThe whole building feels new and modern. However this doesn't feel like a "luxury" hotel, more like a business hotel. - Has parking garage, but it's "valet only". Charges $25 per night for parking. - Has a price tag for water and every little snack in the room. - Has a frige, but no mini-bar in the room. - Not really a good view; building is only 6 stories. - No breakfast included. - No fitness / swimming pool / spa facilities. For a $200+ price tag, I expected better for many of the things above. If I'd do it again, I'll either just splurge it to get a real luxury hotel, or get a basic business hotel for much cheaper instead.

Was a little pricey for what it is/ a lil chic. Everything for most part went well. Rooms from hallway not the most quite when other guest leave rooms and doors close behind them. It would shake my rooms walls every time. Very close to the street, so the sound of early morning and nighttime traffic was very noticeable. The most annoying problem i had is when I checked in I told the front desk clerk that I was without a vehicle and would not be requiring overnight parking. Low and behold 2 days following my return home I was surprised with 2 - $150 charges one for each room. The charge $50 a night for my car I parked there. Hmmm! And why was each room charged $50/night for what they thought was one car. Kind of shady. they probably just throw the charges on hoping that people don't notice. Anyways got that stuff taken care of, just waiting for the redacted charges to be cleared from my bank account.

Well Located. Easy to navigate from. Large, extremely comfortable room. Beds were comfortable, not too soft nor firm. Beautiful bathroom, large, clean, lots of amenities. Staff was friendly and helpful. Beautiful rooftop restaurant, just wish you could have charged meal to the room.

Not a room with a view. I was promised a room with a view Instead I saw a Denny's parking lot

Was very impressed with the decor and the furnishings from the desk to the shower to the bed

My visit to Portland came about as a result of a planned birthday lunch. Usually, because I am budget conscious, I find a modest motel and make that my home-away. This time I decided to make the visit extra special. A friend recommended the Eastlund. I looked it up and made the leap. The Eastlund is a lovely surprise in the middle of the city. First, parking is completely handled by the valet staff. Pull up, turn over the keys, and its done. Leaving and returning during your stay is no problem. The valets were all so willing to please and to make one's visit go smoothly. Then, at the check in desk, again, there was no stress. "Here's your key. Enjoy your stay." The room was luxurious with comfy beds, a wide screen tv, and, guess what? - a window that opened to the river breeze. The first night, I ate upstairs, with the glorious city lights offering a spectacular view. Again the hospitality staff were gracious, helpful, and willing to have some fun. The next morning, I made use of the spotless and well-equipped fitness center near the lobby, The Eastlund costs a bit more than a highway motel, but with all of the amenities and the atmosphere of welcome and care, the cost/benefit came out in my favor.

Hotel Eastlund was absolutely wonderful. The hotel was GREAT and super close to the MAX stop. The staff was so great and helpful with food recommendations. Would stay here again 100%n

Our room was next to the trolley stops. Therefore, we heard it roll by at least once an hour, which made it difficult to sleep through the night.

Very clean and comfortable. Very nicely decorated, modern. Enjoyed the breakfast cafe and dining at the roof top restaurant

Great Experience, will stay again. Staff was friendly, decor was and overall fell of hotel made the stay excellent.
