I often stay here, because I like the funky style and the location. I will say this time around it wasn't quite as an enjoyable. The breakfast was not as good as it usually is (there wasn't much food there when I arrived). The heating and cooling seemed funky.
I loved the wood beams and rustic feel. The breakfast was really good.
Great convenient location, super nice staff and awesome service! Cool old retro styled rooms, and a great value compared to other hotels in Eugene.
Only issue was the heater was not on before we arrived in the late evening. It was a cold day and the room was very cold. Had to have the heater on full for 15 minutes before it warmed up.
Perfect location to visit my duck.
pleasant staff, nice location
Place was super cute.
I loved how they have fixed up this old motel in a classy retro-but-modern way. The bathroom tiling for instance -- newly done with classic tiles. The breakfasts are luxurious, and there are great cafes nearby. My only concern was that the internet was spotty in my room.
The Timber’s is the best place to stay in Eugene!
What a cute, clean and quiet inn! I was in town for a horse show, and decided to stay here and am glad I did. Typically, I stay by the highway, which is pretty noisy. This place is right in the old downtown area of Eugene, and therefore at night gets hardly any traffic, resulting in a quiet night's sleep. It is older, but they have nice, modern upgrades, without losing it's charm. Because of the COVID, the lobby wasn't open, but my room was well stocked with nice towels and anything else I needed.
They really personalized my stay and went out of their way to ensure that I had a great experience.
Read reviews on Facebook from parents of students at UO so thought I would give it a try. I guess for the price maybe it was ok but the property reminded me of a motel in the 70’s. Smell of smoke as you pass other rooms, a German Shepard came at me barking and growling from another room and had to be grab by his owner, etc. I realize the hotel can’t stop this but they do allow pets and I would say there needs to be some very strict rules about leashes, if I was a small child I am guessing the results may have been different. The room itself I would rate a 6, it was clean but I still wiped it down with a Clorox wipe but I would do this anywhere right now. The shower curtain was torn and the grout in the shower could used a strong cleaning.
The rooms have a very cabin feel to them! They are set up like a great getaway in the woods
They did an excellent job with COVID check in- very impressed.
Cute and modern upgrades; great bed! Friendly guest service.
This inn has captured a lovely vintage vibe, without sacrificing space or modernity. Quiet at night, centrally located to many things we needed, and great about my traveling pet. Highly recommended~!
