Red Lion Hotel Portland Airport

No prior booking so got a room up stairs and outside another building. Struggled with luggage after 2 days of flight. Senior single woman so not real good accommodation but ok after finding room. No room help offered.

All the staff were exceptionally nice. I was pretty surprised; I checked in super late, requested late check out, and they were totally cool about it - offered me water and snacks. The room was much, much nicer than I expected for the price as well.

Don't stay here. Parking lot and hotel torn up for construction. Non stop noise from construction equipment. Entire hotel feels like it should be torn down and rebuilt.

Good place. Only stayed overnight and then took free shuttle to airport. The driver was great

Had a conference that started at 8:30 am so decided to drive up the night before. Got a excellent last minute deal at the Red Lion which us only 1/2 mile from the conference! Room was just what you would want and expect. Good value.

EVERYTHING WAS QUICK AND SMOOTH FOR 4 IN THE MORNING.

I wouldn’t want go to that hotel because they charge us twice also staff don’t know what they doing

Clean rooms and comfortable beds with refrigerator and microwave. Will definitely stay here again on our way to Hawaii.

The hotel was very nice for the price, and I wish we could've extended our stay when we found out we needed to stay in Portland another night- it was booked solid. It was a comfortable room, and I didn't hear much noise from other guests, just a thump on the wall on the first night. It is VERY close to the airfield though, and you'll hear almost every plane taking off. The amenities were nice, and there's even an all night store in the hotel with snacks, toiletries, and drinks. There's also a nice bar and restraunt on site. I'd definitely recommend this place if you need to be in Portland for a flight, or even a extended stay, as it's very close to Cascade Station, and the airport.

The manager was accommodating for my need for two beds to be on a single floor and close to a door for handicapped issues

The hotel was clean and the staff was friendly. The breakfast was great. Parking was convenient. The location we also convenient to the airport and a variety of shopping and restaurants. I believe the hotel in in the process of a facelift.

I stayed here for work and I work nights. My room was put right next to the laundry room. The maids yelled/talked in the hall all day long and slammed doors. Hard to sleep during days here.

Prompt shuttle. ✔ in smooth with Sara Combs, delightful hospitality! Snacks need prices. Mold/mildew shower curtain. Beds nice. No breakfast offering.

For the price as expected. Comfortable bed. Quiet. Breakfast was good. bathroom a little small.

This Red Lion is close to the airport and has good shuttle service. I was catching a flight the following day. My room was clean and nicely furnished, and comfortable bed. This was my first stay here and room was located in the building to the west. The jet noise was a bit of an adjustment. Luckily, PDX seems to have restricted it's flight operations.. so midnight to 6ish AM it was quiet. Great rate for a quick stay to catch a plane.

Having to walk outside in the rain to get to our room is not great. The key to enter the building in the morning would not work.

The room and beds were very comfortable. Unfortunately our room was right across the hall from the maids' work room. I was awoken at 7:00ish by loud voices and laughter that lasted nearly an hour. The woman at the front desk was very helpful and gave us a great dinner suggestion (By Design Pizza). I would definitely stay here again, but I would make sure to be in a different room.

Had a good stay next to the airport so if you're outside you hear the plane's not in the room though. check in and out went without a hitch

My daughter left her wallet in the rental car we had returned and when we got to hotel the shuttle guy said no problem / drove her back to rental car place sadly car was moved to a different location. He helped us track the car and then took her back two hours later to get the wallet / next morning he shuttled us to the airport we were so appreciative of his kindness. The women at the front desk were so very kind assuring us we would get the wallet back before we flew home - hotel in ok shape. Bathtub drain broke - pool was under construction- but great place to stay for an airport hotel. Quiet and roomy

Overall hotel was less than average and dated. Restaurant was dirty staff was pleasant but the place was dirty. The carpet had not been cleaned in years you could see built up dirt and traffic patterns in carpet.
