Portland Marriott Downtown Waterfront

Recent guest reviews

Great way to experience Portland. Centrally located; walking path along river fronts the hotel. Well placed for business and dining. 20 minute drive from airport.

Everyone was really nice and the location is convenient.

fast check in, no view from the room, noisy airconditioner, very nice location, very expensive parking, only Valet was the option, no self parking, it cost $39/ day to park. The hotel dose have Tesla fast charger( 80amp = 60 to 80mile/ hr charging)

If you don't pay for a waterfront view don't be surprised if you're looking at a rooftop! The staff and facilities were wonderful! Room service, bar was run all but one night by very lovely people...they can't all be winners! I would stay here again and be sure to get to waterfront view!

The only comment I have is educate the front desk to be more in tune with people from other locations. I am southern and the front desk sometimes looked at me as if I was saying something they did not understand. I am a college graduate and I assure you I speak the King's English. They did not understand some colloquial statements I made which I feel is a shortcoming in the training provided to them. Also I one time had a question and the answer I got was not appropriate for the question asked. It seemed the person I was talking to had the answer made in their head before the question was asked and did not listen to my question. Perhaps impressing on the staff to LISTEN to the question asked may help. Also slow down when they speak.

Very friendly staff, room was nice and the area was interesting. Only wish I could have stayed longer to see more sights.

Hotel was very comfortable and clean. We had not stayed here since it was remodeled recently but will again. Nicely redone, great river views, short walk to catch the Max train out to see the Zoo lights at Woodland Park Zoo. Also a short walk to riverfront restaurants where we were able to watch the Christmas light boat parade.

In town for thanksgiving with our daughter. Great atmosphere and staff.

Staff was very friendly. Decor in the whole hotel was beautiful. Location was centrally located. Portland is easy to do by foot or bikes. The hotel has bikes you can borrow. Our only complaint was the parking was expensive, though the valet guys were awesome, fast and helpful.

We were only there for one night, and chose it because they have a Tesla charger (not super-charger, but a charger). It may be the nicest Marriott in Portland. Rooms were small even on the concierge level, but comfortable. The valet/parking was efficient, but if you are there more than three hours it is $37, which seems astronomical. There's a Starbucks in the lobby. It's not really a Starbucks, but they serve Starbucks coffee. It's a decent hotel. Nice people. I'd stay there again

Was in town for the marathon a jacuzzi tub or hot tub in the hotel would've been awesome.

The hotel was great!! The staff was extremely friendly and knowledgeable of the area. The location couldn't have been any better, my room was overlooking the lake.

All of us girls in the family (including some from out of state) decided to converge on Portland for a night and just have a fun get together. This was the perfect place for it! We got a couple rooms - including a suite - and the setup was amazing. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again!

The room was good, the view was awesome of the river with mt hood in the back ground....valet rocked. WISH I KNEW THE POOL WAS CLOSED!

Everyone at the hotel was excellent. The front desk staff, food servers, room service were all friendly and efficient. They upgraded us to a waterfront room without even asking. The buffet breakfast was wonderful and a great deal for kids. The room service was quick and the server was great. If I had to mention something negative, I would say that the bathroom was very compact. I will definitely go back for a second stay.

Great hotel, but why do you need to charge me extra for wireless access? This seems almost unheard of today, and I felt I had already paid enough for the room without needing to pay more for wireless access

We have stayed a bunch. We always have a good time. The hotel is right on the water, but easy to walk around downtown. My kids love the pool.

Stayed here over thanksgiving, location was good! 10 minute walk to pioneer square. Price was good compared to other hotels in the area

Wonderful location for downtown and points beyond. An easy 10 minute walk to the Saturday Portland Market and to Pioneer Square. Helpful, friendly staff and clean comfortable rooms.

Had a great vacation experienced a lot of different things
