Great location, convenient walking distance to lots of different things to do. Room was clean and comfortable with updated decor. Staff was friendly and helpful at every turn, offering us drinks during check in and whenever we returned to the front desk. The coffee shop is also surprisingly nice.

Need more late night after in house hours food options. everything else. amazing . best sleep in a while

Really liked the decor! I didn’t like that there wasn’t a shuttle for transportation.

Great location, good service, recommended for a brief visit to town

Room had poor view tried to get another room but couldn't.

Staff was very receptive. Nice, clean, modern, well appointed. Porter service and front desk was great daily. Didn't like $50 per day to valet our truck. And then be told on our final night that the truck couldn't be valeted.

Hotel was going under renovations which we were informed of after making the reservations.

We had to request a change in the room due to all night construction with metal plates being lowered and concrete for a 30 story building going up next door . It was a very noisy location and little sleep the first night. There is not a breakfast included with the price and not much value. It is convenient to the river park where we embarked on a National Geographic cruise expedition

Overall a great experience. We stay at this hotel every year for the convenience of being close to the Dragonboat Regatta in September. Only thing was that we weren’t told upon check-in that we had a breakfast package that would account for a free meal at the buffet. It was a good thing we decided to try the restaurant the next day or we’d have missed out. It would have been nice if they’d said something so we were aware of it. Now I’m wondering if I’ve been missing this every year up till now.... One final note: the waiter who served us at the bar/restaurant was super friendly and really made my day. We had a great time there and the food was good too.

Very nice hotel and location! Rooms are very spacious and comfortable. Enjoyable stay

We have stayed at other hotels in downtown Portland area and the waterfront Marriott by far is the best stay in the area... clean and updated with very friendly staff

Great location, clean room, comfortable bed. The "view" was mostly of a parking ramp but I didn't intentionally pay extra for a view anyway.

This hotel clearly does not care about their customers who book through Orbitz or other third-party sites. I booked four-day stay for me and my two teenagers. When I called a week in advance to confirm a two-bed room, the manager I spoke to was extremely rude and condescending, refusing to acknowledge the reasonableness of wanting two beds for three people. Instead of guaranteeing a room with two beds or offering a roll-away bed, she repeated several times that their policy for customers booking through third-party sites is to guarantee nothing. She said I might get a room with two beds for three peopel, or I might not. She told me that "was a risk" I chose to take when I booked through Orbitz (even though I specficed a room with two queen beds). This is unacceptably rude. We were given possibly the worst room in the 500-room hotel. Room 326 - it's wedged between an outside door to the parking garage and a late-night lounge, across from the elevators and maybe 50 feet away from the fitness center. The room was clean, but small. The cleaning staff arrived early every day. There were never enough towels or soap. The only good thing I can say is the hotel is in a nice location with a convenient, if expensive, parking garage nearby.

It was a very nice and quiet hotel. They accommodated everything they could. We were able to check in much earlier than normal check-in time so we left our stuff in the room. They also hold our luggage on the day of departure! The room was very clean and everything was updated. We did not use TV but it had Netflix. Wifi is not free but we didn't need it anyway. There are umbrellas at the lobby. we had no problem at this hotel and all staffs are friendly too!
