Conveniently located close to waterfront and downtown area.

Lovely location next to the river front walk. Staff were very nice and helpful.

Everything was going smoothly until we got a rude staff. We wanted to get a later check out and the guy who was in a suit that is African American says a flat No. I then said my three friends who are also staying here with their family were all able to get a late check out. He said it’s because they talk to the right person. I asked to talk to that right person and he said he didn’t know who that person is. That is very rude of him. He then said anything else? That was rude. Please coach your employee to not be rude to clients staying there especially my first time with my children. I will not stay there again. He must hate his job..

Your first surprise will unfortunately be the $37 cost for parking. That would have been nice to know when I booked the room. The room itself was nice. It had lots of room and good seating It was a little icky to find toenails left behind under the sink area. The coffee pot leaked all over the counter, and the bathroom light didn't work in the evening (but weirdly it worked the next morning). Breakfast was pretty ordinary. Motel standard scrambled eggs, sausage, biscuits & gravy, waffles, and some selection of fresh fruit.

Great location for Streetcar and all arts places in Pearl District, grocery shopping to use the kitchen (Target at the Alder Street Car stop), great breakfast, great staff. Pool was big and clean but needs to be warmer and someone needs to be there on the weekend with all the kids to make people share the pool better.

Hotel was okay, a little dated. No really good restaurant options around, so it feels a little isolated.

Unfortunately this was a poor experience. Bed had a sink hole in it and thermostat did not work. I was offered a new room and had to take it due to room getting way too warm and I had unpacked (and had to repack) 7 days with of clothes, toiletries and food. Next room bed also poor but better than last. Front desk person said how tired he was of hearing the complaint and that they were starting to replace mattresses -- but I don't think they should wait until they are this bad. (maybe I shouldn't expect a good nights sleep at the rate of $220/night?) Initially thermostat didn't work but room was cooler then I rememberd to try the breaker (what was tried in the last rm) and it worked (was tired of complaining to front desk). Housekeeping left out details: shower soap dish full of water, coffee machine not cleaned and coffee not replaced, dishwasher run with only 3 dishes in it (waste), ran out of both TP and tissues, other things I tried to ignore). Others in my workshop that was held at the hotel all reported excellent experiences, so maybe it was just one of those "off" times.

I needed a place for 5 adults on a budget. Our room had 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Awesome place for $60 each.

We waited two hours for our room to be ready. They were short of house cleaning staff.

The hotel is located right by the bridges and has a beautiful view. Is walking distance from those Nike bikes you can rent to take you to the heart of downtown. Also walking distance from a few restaurants coffee shops and small pubs. The room was super spacious and clean. However I would point out to the hotel that those pretty blue lobby chairs need to be retouched they were a bit dusty to say the least... Darryl was the gentleman in the front desk he was super sweet!!! (:

After visiting here for years, we still had a good stay, but quality seems to have declined somewhat. The location is good, and staff are friendly. The breakfast was embarrassingly understaffed -- for quite some time, only plastic knives were available to eat with, and they were out of basic things like milk. The pool, once comfortable, is now 5-10 degrees too cold and unpleasant. There is no room service. Those looking for something a cut above should look elsewhere.

Free breakfast was great! Parking is expensive. $35/day

Went there to watch the eclipse-the hotel was full but never really felt crowded. The hotel staff was helpful and friendly. It was conveniently located near light rail transit and major roadway and freeways. Rooms were clean and large. Even though our stay was only for 2 nights, its a place you can actually spend an extended trip at.

We have stayed at this hotel numerous times when in Portland. Full kitchens, convenient location, option to bring pets. Kids love pool and hot tub. Also breakfast. Good family hotel.
