Great variety of things to do right there on the property. Very welcoming staff and everything was pretty well kept and clean. The beds, however, were tragically uncomfortable. I sleep very well under a variety of conditions, but this bed kept me up tossing and turning all night. The mattress felt like a piece of plywood with a sheet over it. When it was finally morning, I got out of bed to the most back pain I've experienced in years. 2 nights there on that awful mattress was all I could take. It's a shame because the rest of the property and experience was great. A hotel room is supposed to be primarily a place to sleep, and I couldn't recommend this property for that purpose at all.

Connected to restaurants and even s cinema. Friendly staff. Roomy space in room.

This is a nice new property with several places to eat. However, the restaurant was expensive, and the food was tasty, and it was 20 minutes to the airport.

I liked there was a cinema and 24/7 restaurant. Market was just a gas station, could be a little better. Movie selection didn’t really change, kept one movie for 2 weeks.

You have everything there. Movie theater, 3 restaurants/bar dance (live music), several different stores, Post office, and is part of a truck stop too.

The property had everything you could imagine from restaurants, movie theatre, store, gas station and more. Rooms were a little outdated and the staff at breakfast dining room seemed unhappy about serving. The hotel is close to everything and the room, beds were very comfortable.

There was everything you would need located at this location. It was great to have so much available and not half to leave anywhere. The only thing I was not satisified with was the bed. That was the most uncomfortable bed and so coulnt sleep and my body was sore because of the bed.

It was nice and clean. Staff was wonderful and friendly

It's hooked up to a truck stop. As a woman traveling alone I felt very unsafe.

Great facilities. Enjoyed having convenient amenities

I thought this was an amazing concept and they should do more. Let them know we would love to be a part of it.

The hotel staff needs to be trained better to clean the rooms. It looked someone used the bathroom to trim their hair in the sink. I'm not sure why the hotel allows people to wash their cars in the parking lot. A little strange to me.

The Portlander has a convenient location close to the airport, with an convenience store, restaurant, laundromat, postal center, and even a small movie theater. The staff were friendly and helpful during my visit, and the room was clean, but very basic. The east wing is sightly inconvenient (a short walk) to the other facilities, and is next to the truck stop which is part of the same large Jubitz facility. If the noise from the truck stop did bothers you, the excellent local craft beers on tap at the bar can fix that. I had no trouble sleeping until the groundskeepers arrived a few minutes before my 9am alarm. Using Orbitz, I was offered a very competitive rate for a one night stay. This made the Portlander an excellent value. I expect to return to the Portlander again on future trips, but if I plan to spend more time in the room than required for sleep and hygiene, I may pick a more luxurious hotel - but I expect
