I did not realize I had booked "the Inn section". That was their term. It was more like a 1950'a mom and pop highway motel that had been poorly renovated to mirror a European discount hotel. Room was very very small, AC unit was way too loud and blasted the bed . Very poor use to the very limited space. We left with bruised on our lower legs from walking into the bed just trying to get around. Avoid this one, unless you want to pay for the suite building, maybe.

clean, friendly

Top notch again

Staff exceptionally helpful. Can walk or short drive to many special places. Obviously upgrading facility. Pleasant stay Minor: hope they can figure a way to get hot water to top floor without long wait and wasting water. Did not see recycling options

Very pleasant/helpful staff, great location, very well appointed suites.

Overall great stay.

This is a good place for those who know Portland and just want the basics: no fuss. It's an easy walk to food, coffee, transportation.

You get your money’s worth. Obviously it’s not a luxury hotel but if you’re only staying there to sleep and you’re going out into the city for most of the day, then it’s worth. Front desk receptionist is really welcoming and provided our needs such as extra towels and toilet paper.

I like the area because it’s near to where we go. They don’t clean the room everyday due to covid situation. Butvthe staff and service are awesome.

Friendly and helpful staff, clean, comfortable, excellent location.

garbage collection in the early morning 6 AM, loud & noise.

Staff was friendly and plenty of parking available

Friendly staff.

Love this place! It’s in a great location, there are nearby shops, eateries bars and the neighborhood the hotel is in, is peaceful.

This place was pretty crummy. Nothing like the picture - that may have been the suites rather than the Inn- if so, that is false advertising. tiny room for 2 queens - we had to side-step around each other. not a chair or table or desk in sight, and not even enough room to put both suitcases on the bench. Horrible beds- hard, cheap, edges soft so it felt like you were rolling off the mattress. Nice towels and blanket, good location, free parking. Coffee/tea in the reception area and nice siting area over there - across the street!

I think the good reviews might come from people who stay in the suites, and the bad reviews from the people who stay at the inn--these are separate buildings at the property. The staff were super friendly and the location was great, but that's where the positive comments end. The room did not feel very clean, especially the bathroom where I found over a dozen black hairs all over. All fixtures were rusted, falling out, and/or cheap. The towels were old and scratchy. There was no tub, and the shower curtain kept blowing in towards you (who knows when that was last cleaned). There was no fridge and microwave. But the worst was the bed. There was no headboard, so your pillow falls into the space between the wall and mattress caused by the bed frame. We asked for more pillows, but they didn't have any (what hotel doesn't have extra pillows?!). The mattress was sooo old and creaky and uncomfortable. On my fiance's side, the mattress was so worn that when he (an average build man) got within 5 inches of the end, the mattress would just collapse and roll him out. It was also supposed to be a queen, but we have a queen at home. This was a double/full. The blanket, made to look like a nice duvet in the pictures, is a thin, dingy blanket from the 80s between 2 sheets. Neither of us slept. I come from a frugal past, and had I paid $40-50 for this room, I wouldn't have been quite as mad because I would have figured I got what I paid for. But we spent twice as much. Avoid at all costs!!

I loved the property. It was in a great area. The room was very, very nice. I think the sliding bathroom door needed updating but that's it. Also $100 security deposit was unexpected!!
