When I first book this place I assumed it will be hotel like but it turns out to be motel. The picture on the orbitz page didn’t show it is a motel and keep promoting it. If I know it is a motel I will never book it. There are people knocking at my door at midnight which is really creepy. It is locate at downtown which is definitely not a safe area but when I was browsing while picking a hotel it didn’t know it is at downtown but rest of the options will mentioned they are at downtown. This is the only reason that choose this place. Also when I sleep at night I feel my entire body is really itchy and this never happened when I was sleeping at home. It’s just not comfortable to stay here. Not happy with experience …

I like being close to shops and restaurants

Easy check in.

Electrical outlets did not work, room was a bit dirty We did not want to complain since we were there only one night.

Very good location to access all Of the restaurants on 20th and 23rd streets. Room size was great, furnishings and decor were minimal. No complaints for the price.

Walking into my hotel room I immediately noticed a bad smell reminiscent of Pitchouli oil and Mold. The room was very dark even with the lights on. The first night of construction started at 4:00 am with them breaking concrete outside my room. Morning 1 no hot water in the shower. I let the room air out with the windows open all day and still, the acrid dungeon smell remained strong in the room. Night 2 construction began at 3:00 am with a truck being stuck outside my window and after a lot of screaming and yelling they started breaking concrete again. Morning 2 not hot water again. Then at 7:30 am a homeless man started screaming at the top of his lungs like he was in a bad horror movie but this was no movie just another night in Portland. I had one more night on my reservation but checked out a day early. I will not be staying at this hotel again ever.

Check in was at three but our room was not ready until after 6pm. Also there was no hot water in the bathroom throughout our stay. At check in staff was rude and not concerned about us having to wait hours for our room. Checkout staff was more understanding and did offer some reimbursement.

Roomy and comfortable. Had very loud neighbors one night and called front desk. That seemed to resolve issue. Parking was very tight, but overall a very good experience

Very nice rooms. Like a small apartment rather than a motel.

Very clean and affordable. Except that you can hear everything from upstairs and the next door neighbor. The mattress was very good.

Exterior is a little dated, but interior spaces have been renovated and are very attractive and well-organized. The hotel is close to the 21st and 23rd Avenue shopping/entertainment district and there are some fantastic restaurants and shops to visit within an easy 1/2 mile walk. Neighborhood is upscale and it feels like one of the safest, cleanest parts of Portland.

Went down to Portland for a Timbers match, stayed two nights. Location is a couple blocks from Providence Park, easy to get to and parking was on site so that made things easy. Full kitchen, one bedroom suite, they had instant oatmeal, orange juice, water, coffee and tea. I appreciated all of that and learned that there is a Chevron within walking distance if you needed a snack or gas. The room was clean and staff was very helpful and friendly. I will stay there again the next time I'm in Portland, and recommend the city scooters in case you need to get around.

I really enjoyed the space. Will definitely stay again and will recommend

Location is very nice, near to downtown Portland (15 minute walking),23rd ave and Japanese Garden! It's safer unlike the downtown location and it's quiet. Also if you have a car, this is the location providing complimentary parking!

Hello Ruyi. Please accept our sincere apologies for not having provided you with an enjoyable experience. You can be assured that our intention is to always meet or exceed our guests expectations. Our website does refer to our being a Downtown Portland property but perhaps our location being so close to Washington Park, Portland Japanese Garden, Oregon Zoo, Providence Park, and World Forestry Center overwhelmed the "downtown" portion of our description. We are in a very safe area known as Goose Hollow; surrounded by numerous historical mansions. We also apologize that another guest disturbed you at midnight by knocking on your door. For your information we do have 24-hour patrol security as well as onsite security cameras. It would be my personal pleasure to assist you for your next visit to Portland in one of our suites. May we have another chance? Best Regards.

Hello Jeffrey. Please accept our sincere apologies for the less than acceptable experiences you had while visiting us. Your concerns should have been addressed when you registered them upon checking out early. The Executive Housekeeper did check the suite you occupied and any smell or mold concerns have been addressed. We did have a hot water circulation issue which was addressed as soon as we heard about it. We have credited your account for 50% of your charges, and you should be seeing same in a few days through your bank. Again, we apologize for your inconveniences, and hope to earn another chance to better serve you. With Best Regards.

Hello Susan. We certainly apologize for the inconveniences you experienced at check-in and during your visit. We do hope that our efforts to make amends before you departed in some way made up for them. We have addressed both of the issues you encountered; and you should not have a repeat of them on your future visits. Both the procedures to ensure room availability and the circulating pump issue we had have been corrected. May we have another chance? With Best Regards.
