Easy walking distance to many downtown restaurants, sights, shopping. Nice adjacent restaurant on one side and a nice coffee shop on the other.

Cozy & posh. Like the decor and style. Very convenient to every spot in downtown area

Great location--- fantastic food--- 15 min walk to Amtrak -- near light rail We walked everywhere- central Hotel was much better than photos--- just trendy, great paint and colors and mix of black and white photos, sculpture and art Best place ever stayed in downtown

Great location, friendly staff, well appointed rooms, beautiful decor. They provided us with complimentary umbrellas, a pack and play for our baby, and a useful map of places to walk in the immediate area. I loved all the David Hume Kennerly photos displayed everywhere! The value couldn't be beat!

We had a very nice 4-night stay, we love everything about this place !

Hotel room is very small for two people. Great for individual traveler. Bathroom is micro small and hard to get into and out of. No place to "hold" your items. Too small for anything but a toothbrush. Other than that, room is great (for one traveler).

On early arrival couldn't have been happier when reception let us into our room early at noon (never happens-right)! Room was clean and outdated but fine as far as we could tell. However later that night we realized that bedside lights were insufficient for both of us to read in bed so my husband sat on floor and I sat on chair with overhead lamp. The main problem occurred on 5/30/16 (Memorial Day holiday). At 3:00-4:00 am, trash bins/debris boxes were emptied for approximately 45 minutes right under our window with LOUD garbage trucks running the entire time - we were on the 2nd floor. We were shocked at how long it took and then we were unable to return to sleep, especially disappointing since we NEVER have Mondays off together and it was a real treat for us. Compared to similar hotels (price wise) would probably try others before returning here.

This hotel was amazing. Beautiful decor and comfortable rooms. Very friendly staff. A fabulous location to everything. And the beds were fantastic! Highly recommend

Everything was wonderful. Staff and location were great

I was excited about this hotel. Seemed very nice and the front desk said they upgraded me upon check-in. Turns out the room was poorly cleaned - I found deflated balloons on the floor in the morning after finding parts of the room that hadn't been cleaned. The worst part of the stay was at 3:45am the garbage and recycling was collected directly below my room. It comes up from underground lifts one bin at a time and the collector struggled like mad to get the bins off the curb and back up. It sounded like bricks were being thrown into metal bins. After 15 min, I had to see what was going on. It was a bit incredible how loud everything was. After the recycling was picked up, garbage came a bit later just as I started falling asleep. I was on the 3rd floor on the north side near mid-block. I complained in the morning and they simply brushed it off: Oh yeah, that can be loud. It was beyond loud and rather unacceptable that they rent rooms above that activity. I was unable to get back to sleep. It was a Monday night.

Although room, and particularly the bathroom, was on the small size... perfect space and location for the business traveler.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Although clean and comfy, my major complaint is that the room was very small for two people. I can only compare the size of the bathroom to one you would find in an RV. The bathroom door actually hit the foot of the bed when opened. And please remove all of the mini bar products from the night stand. $40 a night for parking seems pretty steep.

Unfortunately they were remodeling, so I don't think we got the whole Hotel Lucia experience

My sister and stayed at Hotel Lucia in June 2015. The hotel staff were friendly and great! The hotel was clean and the room was a good size. IT was centrally located and everything was within walking distance. Would stay here again if I ever come back to Portland.

This was my first stay at the Lucia, and I was more than happy with my experience. Very friendly staff, well appointed rooms with lots of style and super convenient location. Also appreciated its smaller, more intimate size. I will definitely stay here again.

Hotel was very nice. Great location, good staff. The rooms were comfortable and well appointed.

The staff was very friendly and helpful to my needs. The hotel it's self was beautiful and well maintain

Stayed here for a weekend and loved the central location and helpful staff downstairs. The room was as small as expected, and the descriptions in other reviews of the bathroom's size are accurate. However everything was modern, well-kept, and sleek. We had no problems with noise and couldn't even hear any neighbors. I would stay here again.

We stayed here after a 200 mile bicycle event. Cool place! Within walking distance to lots of great restaurants. Beautiful, trendy decor. We loved it.

Hotel Lucia was perfect in every way-from early check in, to the accommodating, friendly staff to entertaining and helpful doormen out in front of the hotel. The ideal location made it a cinch to get around downtown Portland, We loved it all.
