The decor was pleasant. Bad is the area around it has limited everything due to riots and social violence. No fault to the hotel, but it affexts the rating. The hotel needs a bar to offer its residents.

The staff was incredible in helping us with all of our needs, from delivering a microwave to our room to giving night live and restaurant recommendations. The location is downtown and the only downside was some things in the middle of the city were shut down due to COVID and/or protests. The staff was so kind and the hotel had amazing artwork and and vibe. Would definitely recommend.

Staff was exceptional. Helped with a room issue without any issues.

Amazing art, great beer, and awesome location. You definitely feel like you are in Portland as soon as you arrive

This luxury hotel charges an "amenities fee." When asked, staff stated that this was for the included gym, 1 free beer and restaurants located in the hotel. All of which are expected amenities for a hotel of this caliber. In fact, it appears to be a way to give the appearance of lower nightly rates. I did not appreciate this deception.

The property itself the room staff are all wonderful. I am extremely disappointed to be charged an amenities fee. I chose this place because of the good price I got on Orbitz, and then To have other charges tacked on when I got there was insulting. Further, the amenities fee was supposedly for things Ike artisanal beers in the lobby, but the tap was not functioning so that didn’t even come through. Orbitz has done this to me before on a trip to Las Vegas where I was given surprise extra fees once and arrived. It really is causing me to reevaluate whether I’ll book hotels through Orbitz

This hotel is an older property updated and is good for business travels. Wifi was acceptable, the restaurant has good food and the staff was very helpful. Location is convenient.

Great decor, clean, easy check in and check out with friendly knowledgeable staff.

Friendly and helpful staff. Clean & well maintained room. Short walk to Pearl district is a plus.

great location, clean rooms, we love everything :)

Thank you so much for the feedback. We are working on getting the bar up and running but unfortunately due to the pandemic, our restaurants closed and we are still looking for someone to fill the space! Hopefully next time you visit, we will have that available to you.

Thank you for the review! We're happy to have such a robust collection of private artwork, and even happier to have such an engaging and attentive team of hospitality rockstars. You're right-- there's so much within walking distance. Plenty of opportunities to experience the City of Roses. We look forward to welcoming you back to Portland!

Wow! I am so pleased to hear that you had such a wonderful stay with us! The unique art, fantastic central location, and daily craft beer hour, I agree, really do make us stand out from the rest of the boutique hotels in the area and we are incredibly proud to continue to present that distinct Portland vibe for our guests. We hope you will come stay with us again soon!

Thank you providing helpful feedback regarding your stay. I apologize if the guest amenity fee was not made transparent, it does afford us to maintain our facilities such as the gym, it also allows us to offer other services such as Shinola bicycles to use as our guest, access to Pressreader for a plethora of articles and publications, as well as the craft beer hour, daily coffee/tea, and other sundries and amenities we have on hand such as slippers or fresh fruit. I will make sure our team is fully knowledgeable about our offerings. Also, if a guest does not necessarily partake in those offerings - we are happy to make adjustments to the guest amenity fee and at times can waive the fee altogether. Please always feel free to let us know how we can make your stay more satisfactory. Thank you kindly for choosing the Hotel Lucia and we hope to see you next time. Warm regards,

Hello Anonymous - Thank you for providing feedback regarding your stay, and I apologize if any associated fees were not made transparent through the booking process. We work hard with our partners to ensure clarity because we do not want to surprise our guests with anything unexpected. Please feel free to reach out to our front desk so that we may reconcile the fees to your reservation. Thank you kindly,
