We had two rooms reserved, I called before noon to ask for early check-in, was told one room was available but the other wouldn’t be until 2:00 or 3:00, when we arrived I was told I’d get a text when our second room was ready. All five of us, including my 98-year-old wheelchair-bound mother stayed in the one room, waiting for the text. We had a wedding party to go to at 6:00. I kept calling the front desk for updates and finally was told the room hadn’t been cleaned yet and wouldn’t be ready until 5:30. We needed to get ready for the party so accepted a room 9 floors above my mother’s room. Worse still, elevator cards only work for your own floor so we had to play card shuffle to be able to go to each ofher’s rooms. I got a nonheartfelt apology, sort of, and no compensation for getting access to our room 1 1/2 hours after usual check-in time for a room we were told would be available for early check-in. The room was okay, not special. No glasses, just two paper cups for three guests. Not the best experience. Won’t be returning.
