Good location, great staff, beautiful facility. Unfortunately lost a few points because my room kept getting very hot after the sun set. It seems the AC is on an automatic timer, shutting off overnight, meaning I would wake up in a pool of sweat. Getting ready in the morning it was as hot as 79 degrees Fahrenheit. I was advised that all I could do was open a window.

Need coffee in the lobby but other than that it was a nice place to stay. Parking was a little pricey but it always is downtown.

Very convenient to Oregon Convention Center and he rest of downtown. Interesting gathering rooms - one indoor with seats and a pool table, and outside seating with gas fireplaces. Nice double bed room with unobtrusive but well laid out and maintained bathroom (I liked the large dispensers in the shower that obviated playing with small shampoo bottles, etc.) The only issue was that it was hard to tell if the restaurant was actually open the weekday mid-morning I was there, as there wasn't anyone seemingly there.

Great location, super clean with great staff. Nice and quiet in the room and valet team were excellent as well when vehicle was needed.

we got charged $200 in “amenity fees” including a $24 daily fee for stocking the “honor bar”, which after changing rooms realized each honor bar was different, and the sliding doors for the bathroom don’t close all the way so there is a half inch gap that you can look right in and see people doing their business. Valet of $42 a night is absurd even for Portland. I won’t be staying or recommending this place in the future

They were remodeling the front entrance but other than that all the staff were friendly and accomadating.

Offsite pool was really disappointing. I wish it had been made clear from the beginning of booking that the pool is at a 24hr fitness a block away.

Hidden fees, was charged more than I was lead on to when I initially booked. Otherwise, great stay.

Great hotel in good location downtown. Beds really comfortable. I booked with a special that gave complimentary valet. That was my deciding factor to book. The hotel doesn’t have a pool or hot tub. They do give you a pass to the 24 hour fitness across the street. Did not eat at the restaurant it it was packed the night we arrived. Pretty quiet rooms too. Only real complaint was that we were on the 3rd floor and somebody above us must have had kids. It sounded like they were running races in the room for two hours! It woke us up. Hotel also gave us $15 to use in the mini bar. Very happy with our stay overall. Would definitely stay again.

Hotel Modera is always a treat! Always welcoming, always fresh and Nel Centro perfect for breakfast.

There was a high frequency constant squeak in the room and throughout, I surmise it had to do with HVAC fans or something like that. It wasn't loud, but irritating, I had to use earplugs. The "amenity fee" you're required to pay once you arrive was a disappointment--I prefer transparent charges and fees up front at the point of booking. Otherwise beautiful hotel and a great restaurant.

Great location- nice accommodations! Good value for sure.

Convenient, great restaurant and patio. Public parking across the street.

Great great staff room was wonderful will be back .. 3rd time in Portland 3rd time at this hotel

Nice and cozy.. nice staff.. clean.. late checkout available

The staff were incredible, hotel was clean and quiet

Front desk staff, didn’t seem very knowledgeable about the hotel They came across very inexperienced. The lead agent, a tall young man spoke way to loud on the phone. I couldn’t hear what my agent was trying to tell me. And, he didn’t seem to appreciate his coworkers. He acted way to pretentious. It’s a turn off. It’s not professional. The valets were great guys. They had upbeat atttiudes and were helpful. However, all in all a. Dry nice place to stay. I will be back. Nice job on the upgrade of hotel and I found the restaurant to be just my style.

Thank you for your candid review. We appreciate you giving so much detail, but more so for staying with us. The restaurant is a separate business, but they definitely were open. I will pass along this feedback to their GM. Come see us again soon!
