Stayed one night. Beds are firm, but had a good nights rest. If you do not prefer a firm bed, you may not have a good nights sleep. Like the layout because it feels more like a home instead of a hotel. Would stay here again.

First of all bugs in the room. False advertising of hot breakfast; only a sack with nothing good in it. Went down for another cup of coffee because the stuff in the room was awful. Was told we could not have more even though the breakfast time was not over. Garbage all over the halls because no maid service. People cooking in the rooms flooding the hallways with strong smells. Some rude people to deal with at the counter. The pool is one of the main things we want when we travel. Closed both Saturday and Sunday. Maybe after covid it might return to a good hotel, but till then stay away! False advertising on their part; they should tell you on the website what to expect.

I was in town for a short business trip and got a great deal. I wasn't expecting much but the room was spacious, comfortable, and well equipped. It was more than I needed for my short stay there but I would definitely choose this hotel again, especially for longer trips.

I've stayed at both of the Marriott properties at this location, and while I recommend both the Residence Inn is the nicer of the two due to the larger room with kitchenette. Everything was very clean and in good condition. It's something of a remote location and away from the freeway so the environment is much quieter than most hotels. The nearby Deer Valley Airport doesn't have passenger service; aircraft noise is therefore minimal (daytime) to non-existent (at night.) Be aware that the Residence Inn shares a pool with the Courtyard next door and the walls are thin. If you have a room overlooking the pool and bathers are rowdy, you'll hear the noise. Luckily the pool closes at 10pm so it wasn't a big issue for me, but if you're looking to get to sleep early ask for a room on the other side of the building. The breakfast is typical of "free" hotel breakfasts these days. Even an Ihop, about a block from the hotel, is a big improvement! I didn't penalize them for this as it's common to almost all hotels, but don't expect great fare at breakfast. For lunch and dinner there are several choices in the shopping area just west of the hotel, across 23rd Avenue. The price is a bit of a bargain in the Phoenix area given the room size.

nice room, clean, our main bedroom felt snug. The door was right up against the bed. hotel staff very friendly. 1 dryer in the laundry room did not work and did not know about it until I kept putting money in the machine. shopping and resturants close by. I would stay their again.

The hotel is located just a few minutes from I-17, so access to most locations is convenient. Room was very clean and comfortable.

Great Hotel great staff I almost feel guilty for not spending more time in my room during my visit. Always clean and comfortable would definately come back again. The staff was very polite and attentive. Cudos to them they were all working overtime to make sure everything was perfect

It's a Residence Inn, so it's good. The location, however, was not ideal for us. It is obviously located for the corporate offices close by - we were there for Spring Training. It worked OK in that we were able to get to the ball game and other activities just fine, but the area surrounding the hotel didn't provide activities other than shopping and didn't allow us to get into the area. We had to drive a half hour to reach the fun stuff.

Great Hotel, Good Breakfast, Clean, Great Facilities!!!

Average would be the best word to describe this hotel. I regularly stay at Residence Inns in FL, OH, KY, and IN so I'm accustomed to a certain standard with this type of hotel. The hotel was brand new, but the housekeeping was a little lax. Dirty windows in the public areas, dusty blinds in the breakfast area, hallways that needed vacuuming (must only be done once a week is my guess), dirty stainless in the elevators. I guess you could say the little things add up. The other thing that stood out was how noisy the hotel is. We were on the fifth floor and regularly heard people wheeling luggage on the sidewalk, garbage trucks at 4 a.m., and various loud noises from outside. The hotel has potential. They need to pay attention to the little things.

Great stay...second year in a row. The early morning desk clerk came in early to set up a portion of the breakfast bar so those of us with early departures could get something to eat. That cinched the deal with me. I definitely plan to stay there again next year.

This Residence Inn in Happy Valey was very clean, It was a little hard to find at night, but a call to the friendly staff at the front desk helped us find our way. The room was very big with a kitchen and dining table, desk area and couch. The bed was very comfortable and also the pillows. The best feature was the hugh breakfast with all kinds of goodies, fruit, waffles, bagels and cereal. We really like to get a good value for our stay and breakfast is fantastic. The staff was always clearing up others dishes and bringing out more food... great service!

Thank you for your feedback. We are very sorry to hear your expectations were not met. COVID-19 has placed constraints on our services and amenities; however, we are working hard to overcome these challenges. We have not had our pool closed since we have been allowed to re-open by the state with limited occupancy so not sure where the miss-communication was on that.
