Outdated rooms, ancient weight room, way overpricedown food and spa, backdoored by $50 per day resort fee which is double the average

hotel dated needs upgrade, excessive coffee charges, poor free breakfast just coffee and pastry not very fresh. Disappointing. Daily facilities resort charge of no value.

I was disappointed to hear when I asked about late check out there was an additional fee. I had arrived after midnight and the necessity of a charge when requested late check out did not sit with me well.

The location is ideal and the resort beautiful! Rooms offer lots of space - we had a one bedroom suite and it was ideal! Beds comfortable, nice to have separate vanity outside of tub/toilet area plus full living space. In order to take advantage of the fridge you need to empty the mini bar but it is handy to have. Only downsides - slow (really slow) service in the restaurant but good food and the huge resort fee. The Oasis pool area which is covered in this fee is only open weekends from 11 - 4 at this time of year - I would think that the fee should reflect the minimal access and be somewhat lower because of this, we were not able to take advantage of the gym which is also included in the fee due to time constraints but there is no option on fee packages. $50 per day is not a small fee and value is questionable. This was our second time to this resort - would recommend it but only if you feel the value of the resort fee will work in your favor.

Staff is friendly. Hotel is very pretty. Great hiking area.

rundown, old, pools dirty, not very resort feeling

Very nice property. Be aware of the Resort fees. They were going to charge me $47/day for use of the water park (Closed except for weekends and my stay was Tue-Fri. Discounts on golf and I wasn't there to play golf) The in room coffee is horrible and even though the room is large its laid out oddly. (Only bathroom IN the master bedroom).

everything convenient and ideally located for our purpose

We took our family on a weekend getaway before school started. Beautiful Resort! Very family friendly. Would stay their every time We go back to Phoenix.

First off first impressions are the best..Driving into this grand resort and it's beauty is breathtaking! The greeting we recieved from Kobe at the front desk and his customer service was superb...he took caring to the next level! And the water park was all day entertainment for my teens as well as us parents! I am definitely going to come back very soon...

I truly enjoyed the dart and the waterpark. I'll be returning soon.!

If you are not going to experience the Waterpark, there are much better places to stay. Check in took almost an hour with a variety of vacations worst cluttering up the lobby. Once checked in, parking became the next issue. There is none. Valet is an option, with no in or out privileges. This was not the experience we were hoping for. Again, if not using the Waterpark, find somewhere else to stay.

Worst resort I ever stayed at. The staff was unfriendly. No smile on their faces, not a "welcome" and /or "how are you, etc". Nor at check out did they ask us how was our stay. The restaurant at the resort next to the lobby not a great place to enjoy your dinner. The server was great, however the place was full of flies. Not a pleasant experience when trying to enjoy your dinner with flies over your head and food. The pools had hot water and were not clean. The bathtub was clugged up. 50 dollar per day resort fee is way too much in addition to the charge for the room per night. Not worth the money spent. A motel would have been a better place than this resort.

I enjoyed my stay at the Arizona Grand Resort. Wonderful staff and great facilities. I would highly recommend it to anyone trying to find a economical 4 star hotel in Phoenix.

The room was just okay. It wasn't as nice or as clean as I expected. Could use some updating.

This hotel was wonderful. The location was ideal, Close enough to downtown to drive to and enjoy downtown, then return to enjiy all that the facilities had to offer. Golf, swimming, and relaxation

The room was clean and the hotel staff was great and attentive. The lifeguards at the oasis waterpark were nice but laid zero attention to the swimmers. I literally never saw them look at anyone. The cost of the room seemed pricey for the pools and waterpark being outdated. The resort was great family fun just seemed a little pricey to pay $50 per day resort fee when the resort was outdated. All in all great vacation just a little old.

Our hotel room was old and run down. The pull out sofa had a 1 inch mattress that was extremely uncomfortable. The bedroom had stains on the bedspread and peeling wallpaper and damages to the furniture. For a 4 star hotel this certainly does not live up. The water park was fun and made the hotel bearable.

7 and 5 years old kids that really enjoyed everything. 4 days was a little long. They are proud of their food and drink- grocery stores and other food is close. Remove all minibar item and put groceries in mini fridge. During a busy week or weekend the pools and lazy river would be tight- best during an off week or weekdays.

The staff and facilities were fantastic. The rooms and fitness facility could use an update.
