Great location, large room with attached entryway!

Nice Hotel Room was clean Elevators need to be updated they are much too slow

When booking this hotel it was billed as a "3 Star", so when we checked in we had a certain expectation. Once checked in we were told that the hotel was currently being renovated, but that the rooms would be impeccable. As soon as we left the lobby area there was bright red tape across doors and paper signs all over indicating that certain areas were off limits or under construction. Once we got off the elevator onto our floor - there were no roof tiles, the walls had bare wall board and several doors were taped off for no access. We walked to our room - at 10 pm and found the room next door and across the hall full of young adults with "fruity" drinks having a BIG party. Back to the lobby for a request to change the room - no problems and were sent to another floor. This time were were positioned directly across from the ice machine (which was 5 feet from our door). We heard an avalanche of ice throughout the night. Typically this would have been drowned out by a loud A/C, but unlucky for us we had a very quiet unit. This floor was also under an extreme renovation, hopefully they put the ice machine behind a door. Our room was "well warn" and needs to be included in the reno. It was as clean as you could get a "well warn" room - stained carpets, torn wall paper, mold in corner of shower, pulled up carpet at door and dated furniture. This property should be listed as a "2 Star" at best under the current conditions and maybe a "3 Star" later. The employees were very nice but did not offer any compensation for the conditions we felt we inferior to what we had paid for.

I enjoyed swimming and whirlpool in this hotel. The pool was not so deep that my baby could swim there. The room did not have a view. It was blocked by the wall.
