Not your usual Comfort Inn. We got there late on a Friday and they had run out of parking spaces (the next day it was no problem). We stayed In the back building (its actually a Motel, with external doors). The rooms where clean. large. and quiet. There is no desk in the room, and the lounging chairs where extremely low and soft so we never used them. There is limited power sockets and the ones near the beds are actually between the top of the matress the the wall, which gives a bit of an uncomfortable feeling. The free WiFi very erratic - we could often connect, but could not log in. Beds where fine. There are no suitcase stands. Air Co works and not too noisy. No elevator. Location OK - you are 4(?)km from the falls, but there is a bus to Falls $7.50 all day (we did not use it so I am not sure how far away the bus stop is) vs 20/25 for parking there. No free breakfast or (decent) coffee. iHop pancake place that is attached, where you of course have to pay, gets bad reviews so we did not eat there. Scoops , not far away, for 10 bucks a person is a local good value. For all this, its still one of the better deals around, and I would stay there again.
My wife and I stayed one night, tired after a long day at the Falls, we decided to stay the night, and head home to Toronto, the next morning. After searching for a long time on line, and not wanting to spend $300-$400 per night, we found this Comfort Inn. Simply put, it was clean and quiet, comfortable, with friendly staff, for $90 per night, free parking and wifi. Also, it has a IHOP next to the lobby. Great find, and will definitely recommend this hotel, a good value for your buck.
room was outdated and quite dark but comfortable enough for the money. pool area extremely slippery and outdated, lots of sharp corners and tiled edges. My boyfriend slipped taking a step into the main pool off of the main deck to the first step of the pool. My daughter fell and split her lip on the tiled corner of the hot tub taking a step from the main deck to the first step of the hot tub, not even into the hot tub just the steps leading up to hot tub. the manager says, we were all very excited and that's why everyone was slipping. after a few hours in emergency and 4 stitches later for my daughter, i was appalled to wake up to a bill the next morning as it was a horrible night for us all. customer service before and after the incident was quite bland. no personality. everyone was just doing their job.
Made the booking last minute without any issues. Excellent location - walking distance to Canada One Factory Outlet, and a ten-minute drive to Clifton Hills. Room was clean and well-appointed. The lady at the reception desk was helpful. Adequate parking areas. Has an indoor pool. The lobby area was roomy and presentable.
Good location, still close enough to the falls for a quick cab ride without having to pay the high prices of the hotels at the falls. Same good experience both stays, will definitely stay here again on our next visit.
Had a great stay at this hotel during a busy weekend in Niagara. Just a quick drive up to the falls it is in a great location. Rooms and pool area are super clean and we were able to check in early which was perfect with us. For the price you pay this is a great hotel and one to check out when visiting Niagara.
I noticed that some reviews were not the best.. our room was great. I am so glad I found this place it may be my new place to stay in the Falls. When we booked we got a 2 queen beds with a larger room and larger TV... so READ the details on the room before you book it and I think you will be happy. The bed was comfy and clean. Carpet was relatively new and in great shape... NO funny odors !!! I'm not really interested in a full breakfast..so the fact they don't have a free one.. does not bother me. I did try their coffee and it was strong and not a premium brand.. so I had to head to Tim Hortons a few blocks away. If this is all I can find to complain about..then it's a really good place. I will stay here again.
Stayed here as part of a tour. It is definitely somewhere I wouldn't have picked personally. The reception area was really lovely and the front desk staff were very friendly helpful and courteous it's a shame the rooms weren't up to the same standard though! The rooms which although very 'beige' and need an update were clean and had everything that was needed. The majority of rooms overlook a large swimming pool which could be quite noisy especially at night (not too late into the night but late enough if you have an early start!) The smell of chlorine from the pool was a bit overwhelming especially to wake up to!!! As I said it would be ideal for families with children but being with a group of older adults it wouldn't be a place I would have chosen
We stayed at Comfort Suites in Lundy's Lane and I can't say enough good things about it! The property and rooms were clean, front desk service was excellent. Free parking, WEGO shuttle (direct red line to Niagra Falls) stop right out in front and IHOP right on property. Pool was clean and right temp. There is no reason to pay more to visit Niagra Falls!!
Booked this hotel July 17/2017 . Arrived at hotel and given room in the older section of hotel with outside corridor. Room was clean but dated. After a night out at Falls returned to room that evening went to bed. At around 2.30am in morning 3 young men that where given room next to ours showed up. Do not not know why they were assigned this room since there were plenty more empty rooms. These men stated yelling in parking lot and fighting . they kept on going from room to car yelling and screaming at each other. You could hear the entrance door being slammed and bottles being kicked around hitting wall. . I phoned front desk but no one one would answer,. My wife and I feared for our safety. I wanted to leave, but in fear stayed in our room. They finally settled down around 4.40 am . At check out told front desk about this was told that no report was on file which replied how could it be if they would not answer phone. They seemed that they could care less. I will never book this location again.
