The bartenders at the Manatees swim-up bar were AWESOME!!! They truly made our vacation memorable. Kenrick, Dowaine, Marlando, Ryan, and Leo were funny, hospitable, and definitely know how to make a drink! :-) Our room was nice and the housekeeping staff was very attentive. Good food at all the restaurants. Everyone from the folks who work at the front desk to the drivers were very welcoming. Not our first trip to a Secrets resort and definitely won't be our last.

It was so fun the entertainment staff by the pool are fun and the bartender Leo is so fun and hilarious.

For a return visit, we were disappointed for how most corners were cut since when we first visited in 2011, when the resort was almost brand new. We were happy with the entertainment team for the most part, but there were some who rubbed it in they were not happy with their work or their co-workers, which is unprofessional for a customer to see/witness. The food was terrible. I recall it being high quality when we first visited. We've stayed at many Secrets and Dreams resorts, and the Oceana restaurant has always been high-quality. Yet, this time, it was just awful. We wanted to get up and leave half way through. My husband couldn't even cut through his steak. We'd each ordered the surf and turf, and it was cheap. Three popcorn shrimp with a tough, cheap cut of sirloin. Service is slow, the workers flat out refused on numerous occasions to bring drinks we'd requested. They ran out of Red Stripe at the Showtime, but couldn't swap out their keg for one at the nearby other restaurants or bars? One of the lifeguards tried to hit on me in front of the chair I shared with my husband poolside and asked me if he could buy my Fitbit Charger because his girlfriend wouldn't be coming from the States for another month. One of the Entertainment Team members said very loudly at the pool, "They don't pay me enough for this s**t," which leads me to believe many are unhappy with their jobs. One of the managers told my husband they are having a hard time getting food sourced in to the country.

The 1/2 inch thick glass bathroom door exploded sending glass everywhere and cutting my girlfriend's left arm, left foot , and right hand. some cuts bad enough to scar. nurse took 30 minutes after I notified front desk to arrive, then put alcohol in her cuts. after all this, all they did was move us to another room. no other compensation. beach is very small. not what I expected for the price.

A nice resort. Staff was attentive and friendly. Many dining options. Spa was wonderful. Didn't have too much jamacian food.

This was my first stay at an all inclusive and it was an amazing experience. The staff was probably the friendliest of any hotel I've ever been to. Every request was met and they were all very polite, I can't say enough about them. The beach and the facilities were all well maintained and clean. I have nothing bad to say about anything we were blown away in every way.

My fiance and ii had a wonderful stay! The service was exceptional and the resort was beautiful. We will be back.

Beds were too soft, food was tasteless except for the guy who served the jerk chicken at the pool each day. Staff was friendly. We (and others) were moved to Wild Orchid without notice. Have rules about saving pool side chairs, but allow their butlers to break those very rules and take almost every chair every day. Told us we could visit other hotels (Breathless) and that hotel was still under construction.

The resort was very clean & beautiful. The staff were very nice and accomodating.

We had a wonderful stay, just wasn't a long enough vacation. Each member of our family agrees that this resort has the very best food we have experienced at any of the all-inclusive resorts we have stayed at--we have stayed at several. We loved everything about this resort!

The resort is beautiful with amazing beaches and great pools. The staff are incredibly friendly and work hard to make everything special. Highly recommend!

As stated in check in email. Had no power upon check in for 3 hrs. Never told anything didn't get bags delivered to room, had to go get ourselves. Asked several times for items never got. Had other guest blaring their own music by pool and balconies couldn't even hear hotel music from pool entertainment and it is written in rules this is not allowed. Front desk seemed a little laxed. Asked for daily activities sheet would just say out and wouldn't get up and look or make a copy for me. These should be put in room daily like all the other Secrets hotels. One night power kept going on and off all night couldn't sleep woke up sweating and hearing alarms. Got no explanation. Other than that the hotel was excellent.

the location of hotel and the place are most impressive and I personally enjoyed so much.

Great for a group. Not far from airport. Smaller type of resort. Loud pool area. Smaller beach area's. Great staff!!

We had a wonderful relaxing vacation. We loved every minute. The entertainment staff were friendly and engaging. The food was delicious... we really enjoyed the Jerk chicken and the empanadas!

Terrible terrible stay, certainly not a 5 star experience, a 3 at best. I was so hurt over the sacrifice my fiance and I made to come to this resort and we were let down, from dirty room to items not being available, amonst that the attitude we got from people were horrible.

return stay for anniversary

friendliest staff

This was my first stay at an all inclusive and it was an amazing experience. The staff was probably the friendliest of any hotel I've ever been to. Every request was met and they were all very polite, I can't say enough about them. The beach and the facilities were all well maintained and clean. I have nothing bad to say about anything we were blown away in every way.
