During my trip, November 6th- 13th 2020 I was to meet with friends and we all booked at the royalton white sands. Upon my arrival 2 days after my friends I learn that they were moved to the blue waters side WITHOUT being informed until check in. I arrive and the staff and manager of the Diamond Club tell me that there is no way for me to move my room because they have nothing comparable to the presidential swim out that I reserved for the 7 days of my stay. And that if I moved i would be downgraded to a lesser room in comparison. I decided to wait it out because the staff told me it was a short walk to the other side and I would barely notice. It rained for 3 days straight when I arrived. I noticed. And the lighting in their walkways was VERY dim so walking back after a few drinks and at night in the pouring rain proved to be difficult. It was only until I expressed my displeasure via an orbitz survey that they made an attempt to move my room to blue waters. I move over to blue waters into the least luxurious room that they have. The bottom of the barrel. They told me there were no swim outs nor presidential suites available and they did not even have the courtesy of giving me an “upgraded” “ocean view” room. I literally got the bottom of the barrel. The room was nice because the property is newer but I’d reserved the “swim out presidential suite” for my stay so you can imagine my displeasure after unexpectedly being split from my friends and not being accommodated properly.

Beautiful resort with beautiful beach and pools. very poor or no amneties present(shaving kit, toothbrush, slippers - all missing) We had the Diamond club which we found to be a total waste of money. Private bars were even poorer than the normal ones, serving was really slow. Also, we couldn’t reserve a seat to any restaurant even though this was included in the Diamond club facilities. It really seemed like a rip-off. the mini-bar had only two beers and a coke, the whole stay.

This resort was very nice. Pros: 30 minutes from airport, nice pools, lazy river, the food was good, drink amazing, clean. Cons: Diamond Club is not worth it, Room Service never answers the phone, rooms were smaller than average for all inclusive (especially the bathroom), slow service at restaurants. Overall the place was great, clean and relaxing. This place has plenty for adults as well as children. I think the highlight of the resort for me was the lazy river and the restaurants. I definitely would have liked to have a bigger room (Luxury Ocean View Room) but we weren’t in the room all that much so it was fine. Diamond Club Lounge is overrated. The workers are not very nice or helpful. It was nice there is a private area on the beach for Diamond Club members. I would come back to this resort and make sure I book a bigger room.

The property was good. Easy access to everything.

Hotel did. Great job keeping you entertained. They had music and entertainment from the morning to night time. The property was beautiful especially the pools and beach. The restaurants had great quality food. Room was a little small and I felt could of been cleaner. Besides my room we had an awesome time! Staff very friendly and always willing to help.

Not happy that I booked a king and ended up with two beds for my anniversary trio with my husband

The property is beautiful. It is very welcoming and the customer service is beyond excellent. If I could spend a week there again I would. I also would recommend anyone to go there. The Royalton Blue Waters is right next door in which you can visit. The variety of food was great. Big up to the Vibes Team, Big up to Moya from the Diamond Club front desk and big up to the Butlers on the Diamond Club beach area. The overall experience was memorial. The swim up bar was my girlfriend's favourite, mine too. The tennis court was beautiful, it had me sweating lol. You will definitely not regret taking a vacation there. BOOK TODAYYYYYY

I did like that the beach was just steps from the pool. I did like the bracelet option as the room key What I didn't like: - Room service told me 40 mins wait and it was over 2 hours. I was traveling with my 3 year old son, who shouldn't have to wait so long for food so we went back in the rain for food - Didn't get my nightly dessert (only the first 2 nights) - Didn't have the bathrobes as advertised - Room (647) needs to be taken off and have the painters repaint the room (cracks in the ceiling shower head) - Repaint the basketball courts, tennis courts, roof, children waterpark (these are things that will help the upkeep of the property and want people to return - Everyday I had to fight to get a dinner reservation. Training the hostesses better will be extremely helpful - Too many dingy plastic cups (color is dingy yellow) - Cabanas has to be a better way to request especially for Christmas - Santa/Kids Christmas should be held near the children's area/waterpark vs the location it was kept

The property is well maintained. My 2nd stay there with no regrets. My only complaint was my suite was connected to a family with several children's suite. They stayed up all night playing and loud. Which caused me not being able to relax or sleep. I complained and could not be moved until the next evening. I was noy in a different suite and able to relax until 4pm of day 2. I feel this should have been taken into consideration prior to assigning a 62 year old single man next to a family suite with only a connecting door separating us. This happened the 1st time I stayed at Royalton White Sands a few years ago also. Otherwise I loved the property and plan to return next year.

We absolutely loved it here. Staff was amazing and went above and beyond for us. The kids club was a life saver and my daughter had a blast . Food was excellent and the restaurants really did a nice job. Loved the beach and the pools. Drinks were great for adults and kids. We are already planning a return trip in the next 6 months.. thank you for making our first family vacation in over 6 years so wonderful.

Everything is so beautiful, all of the people working there were extremely helpful, kind, and accommodating, and we were so pleased with our vacation at Royalton White Sands. We will be back!!!

I like that the property is in Jamaica, but the managers and staff are incompetent disrespectful and unprofessional Obviously they were all hired without proper training and they all lacked customer service training. There was 1 young lady who was responsible for guests services by the name of Kimberly and another by the name of reneke they were exceptional all others made sure I won’t ever return.

The property is located in a secluded area which I like. However, the Hotel should NOT be rated above 3 stars. I would give it a 2.5 to 3.0 Top

Property had a pretty decent size beach area and was kept clean. The area around the pool was kept clean as well. Service of drinks was good as well even though at times it got real busy. The variety of food options were good, although the breakfast buffet never changed it was pretty good. Some staff were rude but there were a few that were very welcoming and spoke.

Great food and drinks, awesome customer service. Our AC wasn't working the first night, immediately the next morning someone was there to fix it.
