We decided to stay at the Royalton for the first time after our usual preference the Riu was booked, we were celebrating my engagement and my birthday and needless to say it was one of the worst experiences we’ve ever had while staying in Jamaica. Our ceiling was leaking for 2 days they finally moved us on our last day. Our room had beg bugs and small bugs crawling all over the tv stand and my body is covered in bed bug bites. Upon leaving we tried to book Covid test and the concierge told us that the hotel had ran out of test materials so we had to get a ride to the airport and that took about 3 hours in which we should’ve been enjoying our time on the resort. The staff never acknowledged the fact that we were there to celebrate anything & when we addressed the issue of the bugs and ceiling they made it seem as though the problems were just small. Our last day we decided to go to the steakhouse, we waited 3.5 hours and when we finally did get in to sit down half of the items on the menu were sold out, we sent our steaks back twice because they were so well done you couldn’t cut through them with a knife, the third time they came out they were still well done after ordering them medium. We will never be returning to the Royalton again.

Fantastic and friendly staff. Especially Tamika, Danneka, Rennia, and Nicholas. Very clean property and a great beach location. Highly recommended.

This place serves the same breakfast every morning their dinner is served cold not even hot room service does not serve dinner only finger food. Its been 7 days since i check out this hotel and i still cant get my money back they refuse to answer their phone or even send back a email i will never go back to this hotel this is just not professional at all....

The front desk didn’t explain the rules of the hotel. We were locked out of our rooms (3) because the battery went dead on the doors during our stay. The food was cold. Room service took too long to bring the food. The restaurants couldn’t accommodate a party of 8. The poolside staff were exceptional. Shane, Marlon, David and Moya were the best. They definitely helped make our stay better.

The entire resort was beyond my expectations. From the lobby to, of course, my luxury suite was absolutely beautiful. The staff was highly professional and very friendly. Although the food from the buffet was decent, the surrounding restaurants were amazing. Everything was truly all-inclusive. I loved my time there and I’m already planning to come back next year!

The property itself was nice. My main issue was that there was limited sruff at the bar comparing to the listing rhat was there.

The resort is beautiful. Great views, rooms, pools, overall design of the place is amazing. However, some of the staff there aren’t the nicest. Don’t get me wrong most of the employees there are friendly, respectful and super helpful..but some of them have terrible attitudes. And (because I notice things like this) you could see a few of the female staff sitting in groups staring at other guests talking about them. That’s the only negative I have about this resort were the attitudes of SOME of the staff. The rooms were beautiful, room service was good never took more than 30 mins for me, quiet resort most nights (which is great for me because I loved sitting on the quiet balcony hearing the ocean), our butlers were Nick and Ardley..both nice. They didn’t really go out of their way/do anything special. Which was fine we felt weird having a butler anyway..we only asked them to make reservations but they were both great butlers! I loved having the diamond club. I can understand other reviews people saying they got the DC and it wasn’t worth it. We definitely could’ve done without but it was nice to have the exclusive lounges (beach lobby), upgraded liquor, etc. IF you have the extra $$ get it.

There was, mosquitoes on the site and in. the rooms and in the buildings There was also a tray dogs at the site. The services was super and the staff was adorable and helpful. in all ways possible. They were so friendly and hospitable and willing to serve. They all deserve a monetary for their services. We. missed. the people there Hope to see you next year. All the best. Giving 4 stars instead of 5 because the air conditioning in the room was poor quality and there were mosquitos in the room! We took extra care to keep doors closed but yet we got bit by mosquitos every night inside the room when we slept. It was really annoying to wake up at 3am to buzzing in our ears and welts on our skin. Hotel should be more proactive about the mosquito situation by providing coils or candles. Apart from that, we loved everything about the hotel. We suggest that guests bring lots of bug spray, and possibility their own citronella candles to combat the mosquito problem.

Lazy river very nice,swim up pool nice, beach front good, room had a great view. The front desk staff were terrible they were not cordial, we were separated on different floors even though we book months in advance. The food in Jamaican corner was horrible for the four nights we were there.we complained but nothing was done.

Nothing was unique about this place. The workers are rude and begg for American money

I really liked the friendly staff, all of the pools, rooms were very clean and neat. The food was amazing for an all inclusive. I loved the nightly entertainment. It's a bit far from the airport (about 30 to 40 mins) but it was worth it!
