This resort was excellent for families. We enjoyed every moment and the staff was wonderful from the front desk, to the Z club to concierge and everyone in between. So fortunate to have found this treasure. The food and entertainment were exceptional as well.

Beautiful property. Well maintained. Color scheme is a variations of Beige and Whites which worked. My only complaint is that as we are in Jamaica, which is a gorgeous country for those long hallways, would have loved if some of the artwork and prints reflected the talents of the country. What is on the wall was bland. Stayed on the Ziva side for 4 days 3 nights. Liked the Jerk Hut jerk chicken and pork.meal was decent even for even a discriminating Jamaican palate. My three friends who were Haitians thought the jerk chicken was perfect, but the pork wasn't as good as their grio (lol). Hotel pool is nice. The beach is tiny and not great compared to other hotels I visited such as the RUI in Mammee bay near Ocho rios. But Hyatt is a much more modern facility on the side of Riu I stayed back in 2017. Love the All you can eat buffet for the variety. Especially loved the Jamaican cuisine and fruits. There was a variety for people who wasn't interested in Jamaican foods. My friends loved the liquors; the mimosas at breakfast, the bob marley drinks, rum punch and other great Jamaican drinks. As i do not drink I enjoyed my wata (lol). We also tried the Italian Restaurant. My friend liked their meals. Didn't eat mine as did not taste very good. my friends also ate at the Brazilian Steak house, and said it was just so so. However, everyone liked the fact that we did not need to schedule reservation ahead of time, could just walk in on a first come, first serve basis.Overall great.

We had a great time! Hotel was very clean, staff was very friendly and kind. The food was very good and had a nice variety. We stayed on the kids side of the hotel even though we traveled without kids. Their was only one night out of the 6 that we heard kids in the night. There was nightly entertainment along with activities. We did the sailboat and snorkeling at the resort. Staff was prompt with services. We would definitely stay here again.

If you like a clean resort, awesome food, and amazing people and service than this is your spot! I’ve been to Mexico a bunch, Dominican, Bahamas, Belize, and this was by far my favorite Island and resort! The customer service was amazing. They made you feel important and made sure you had a blast! The Z crew was the icing on the cake, they always made sure you were having a good time, morning, afternoon, and night. Michael, Kelly, Omar, Kevin, and Barrington (part of the Z crew and entertainment) were all SO much fun and extremely friendly. They truly made our experience there that much better!!! We will definitely be back! It’s hard to find all around amazingness at a resort but the Hyatt Ziva in Jamaica hit them all!

Excellent hotel. Two negatives were the pillow were horrible and the cost of spa services. Everybody was complaining about it.

Nice hotel and friendly staff! Great food!! Only complaint would be the cable was out 90% of our stay and not much night entertainment.

Building was old and mold was noted in various places. Ocean view was obstructed by trees. Overall the room was fair.

Nice hotel beautiful and clean. Staff was friendly food was good.

We were lucky enough to have a swim out room with a butler (we actually had 3 - a special thank you to Anna, Gay-Ann, and Junio). They made our week extra special and helped us create many memories. The resort is beautiful and kept very clean. I noticed the staff/employees work as a team to keep all of the vacationers happy. The hotel motto is service from the heart (as every employee passes you they say hello and place their hand on their heart). I felt very appreciated from the staff/employees that I chose this resort for my vacation destination. We did participate in many activities throughout the week (water aerobics, spinning class, kayaking, sail boating & chocolate making class. (My suggestion to individuals who want to kayak go right at 9 when they open once the ocean gets to choppy it is too unsafe to take out the kayak). Sailing can be hit or miss depending on the weather. The servers at the pool, beach, and nightly entertainment came around very often and would bring you what ever you wanted to drink. We really enjoyed our vacation and appreciated the great hospitality we received from the minute we got off the plane until we left to go home.

We booked two separate outings for a party of 8 and 10. Dolphins, sting ray and snorkeling. The other the night tour of rose hall. Both were booked at the hotel. Each trip we were lied to and told several things were included that were not. The dolphins did not include snorkeling even though we asked several times to be certain and we were told it was. We were told the rose hall night tour included drinks as we were paying 55 per person (you could book from their website for 20) upon arrival at rose hall we were informed again that we were lied to. Over 1300 spent on two trips just to be lied to. The Italian restaurant that is part of the all inclusive served us cold food after a 40 minute wait for a meal. We went back again the 3rd night hoping it was better as we had a member with food Allergies and it was a safe restaurant. Same long wait, old bread and cold food.

It was definitely a paradise. Felt very relaxed, pampered and I would recommend anyone and everyone to have an experience at least once. Has everything right at your doorstep including the vast beautiful ocean. Just want to be there thinking and writing about it. Can’t wait to visit again

My 17yo and I had a wonderful stay. Initially we were placed in a lovely standard room, but the bathtub showed signs of age, with a rusty drain. As soon as I mentioned this to the front desk, a manager moved us to the newest building, And upgraded us to a gorgeous junior suite with a large, free-standing, sunken tub! We were both very happy with the All you can Eat breakfast buffets. The service was impeccable at all of the restaurants! And, the Spa service was equally flawless. Karen was very attentive at check-in, And my pedicurist was superb. I feel badly that I can not recall her name. All of the staff, at every level of service, were respectful, pleasant and professional. You really do get what you pay for, and in some cases, even more.

The overall appearance of hotel was excellent. Staff was friendly and always asking if there was anything they could do for all. The hotel was updated and more on the modern side rather then "islandy". The food was by far better then any other hotel I had been at in the Caribbean. The pool and swim up bar kept the drinks flowing. 2 employees to note were Toni-Ann and Recardo at the Logoonz Bar near the pool. Very attentive to our group and kept the drinks coming or just a refresher with a cold bottled water. Top rated! If we had one comment it would be the bathrooms at the pool. 2 were under renovations for our entire stay and the other 2 that were close by were not operating most of the time. I had to go back to my room a few times to use the bathroom. There were five stalls but only 3 were operational at any given time and sometimes none. Overall, great hotel with several restaurants, coffee shops, gift shops, delis, and shopping.

Very nice stay. Small issue that was rectified nicely. The cleaning wasn't done fully as far as tub, sink, shower etc. Just fresh towels and bed making service. So you will have yesterday's sand in your room.

Very nice resort with nice pool and beach, friendly staff and quality food with a variety of restaurants. Great entertainment at the Zilara pool and great spa experience. The swim up room I booked was unfortunately lacking and more of a 3 star quality. The lounge chairs were ripped so water would leak when laying down, the bed and pillows were uncomfortable and had back aches in the morning. The fridge wasn’t stocked when we arrived and had to call for service not just for that but for toiletries, a broken thermostat and toilet issues. Lots of gnats also in the room. Overall it was a good experience but I wouldn’t rate it 4 stars because of the room.
