Overall the trip was pleasing. The room was comfortable. The grounds were well kept. The entertainment crew was very friendly. The food could have been more flavorful but all in all it was good- pretty good selection. The only problems that occurred were 1. The lobbyseemed understaffed. Check in was delayed and often there was no one available to answer questions without you waiting 10 - 15 minutes in line. 2. Housekeeping seemed to.always run out of towels. Three days out of a 5 day stay I had to request towels because there were none left after housekeeping cleaned the room.

We enjoyed the food, the staff, and entertainment. We booked our restaurants early so we had no issues on reservation. Also we liked the buffet. The buffet had a different theme each night; Mexican, Canadian, Italian, and Jamaican. Every day there was Jamaican food available. Breakfast and dinner. And of course all the drinks you want. Kids are free and they will have fun at the beach, pools, and water park. There are kid shows too. Finally, we like the price. We recommend it.

Marlon the executive manager makes everybody felled welcome. The staff is extremely friendly and accomadatimg . We have been there several times and every time we leave we are extremely satisfied and have a great vacation.

Nice. Comfortable. Only thing I saw several roaches during my stay inside my room and once at the Steakhouse restaurant near the buffet table by the food.

Our room was not available until 6pm the day of check in and when we finally got to the room an hour later the room was still not ready ( no linens on the bed, no towels in the BR), the housekeeper told us she was waiting on the linen to arrived.

We booked for a double room but was given a king bed instead for four persons and was told that no double was available at this time. We request to have a rollaway send to the room but it never arrived. Two days later we were transfer to the double room ,the next day we notice a water leak coming from the light fixtures above the toilet and call for service. Several maintenance workers came up over the next five days but the leak was never fix during our stay ( one worker put a towel in the ceiling to stop the leak). We have to use an umbrella when using the toilet.

The property appears as advertised but even though it's a fairly new property it could use some updates and general maintenance. The elevators are extremely small and " HOT". Carpets in the corridor smells The smell of stagnant water in my room shower as well as out in the public areas. Could use some form of humidifier in the rooms. Positive, the staff

Bad experience. Food was nasty. Customers survice was bad. Bathroom wasn't clean.

Hotel is understaffed, food is absolutely horrible, service is terrible. check in time for us was 3:30, we had to wait outside our room for 45 minutes for cleaning lady to get room ready. HOTEL CAUGHT FIRE on top of roof at 3AM. Pool bars close at 5:30, sunset was around 8:00 so pool is open but no bar. They do not have waitresses walking around pool or beach for drinks, your forced to walk to a bar, which on the beach is a 5 minute walk. Beach is a 10 minute walk from hotel. Room service is extremely slow. There is no food room service. Basically no air conditioning in room. Shower leaked every time, flooding room.

When you arrive at this resort you'll be impressed by its beauty and you'll want to love it but you won't be able to. The front desk service was absolutely atrocious. Check in was completely disorganized. There's a daily extra fee for use of the in room safe, a very unpleasant surprise. Our room smelled moldy and musty and didn't have the "sea view" we were promised. They switched our room a day later but not without a huge hassle. On one occasion we waited 2 hours for towels to be brought to our room. On another our door handle stopped working and the staff member who came just suggested we "bang on it" before opening the door. When we had questions we were often told by the front desk to go back to our room and dial "0" or go directly to another part of the resort. There were also safety hazards. There was a lamp inside the pool hanging out of its socket with wires exposed (see photo). A day later it was still not fixed. And at 5:30pm one night we saw the staff apparently fumigating for insects, with tons of people and children around. Air conditioning was also very poor at the resort - many indoor areas were inadequately cooled or not cooled. And we got harassed nonstop with a sales pitch to take a "tour" for the Privilege Club, which sounds like a glorified timeshare. The resort has a few things going for it - its looks and nice pool and beach area especially. But all of that is overshadowed by the unbelievably poor way in which the resort is run.

The food Could be improved, also the beaches were nice but very stony in areas. Other than that it was a great time with great music and relaxing vibe.

Very nice resort but didn't like how far the swimming area on the beach was from our room. Food was excellent. Most of the staff was nice but when checking in, the girls were snotty. Overall, a nice place.

I go to montego every year but this time was a bit different. The room was beautiful with a perfect view. Property immaculate. So much space we found plenty of quality time moments...no fighting for beach chairs and shade spots. The night club was up to date with the tunes. And no fighting for the last of the best dish cause there was plenty....excellent experience

As beautiful as the pictures indicate. Food as expected -Dolce Vita Italian restaurant was excellent. Japanese restaurant so so. Buffet as expected, wish there had been more authentic & labeled foods, but understood many cultures to cater to. Entertainment alittle lacking at the main lobby terrace for those not wishing to wander at night.

Everything and everyone was so nice. I mean the service was upscale and professional. Ask and it was delivered. The food was extraordinary. The activity on site was very entertaining. I would say thank you for making our stay a positively memorable experience at the Grand Bahia Jamaica Lauren

Hotel staff not friendly or engaging only the people who are trying to sell you something. Food not great, too many options that wasn't great. My room was nice and very clean but the mattress was horrible big dip in middle. The drinks are water down didn't get any type of buzz. Pool was very nice. Beach was okay it was small and had lots of rocks. Elevator VERY small and slow. Carpet in hallways dirty. WiFi only worked in lobby.

Excellent resort! Plenty of choices to eat and swim. Piper at swim up bar is awesome! Great service and very personable, look him up! Marlyn head of the restaurants is doing an amazing job, always helpful and very Good at his job! Marvelous Micheal in the buffet restaurant ( breakfast and lunch) off to the right side is awesome! Excellent service to all in his area, always very friendly and polite. Cat wait to go back!

The food was very cold the jacuzzi did not work many of the lights did not work repeated call to the front desk and house maintenance did not resolve the problem the room needed to be much Cana

My birthday experience started off horriable. Check in took more than 2 hours because the room was not ready and another mix-up with the room. Very hard to get reservations at speciality restaurants and when you do portions are very small and food is not tasty. Customer service is poor, we waited 3 days into our trip to speak to a manager. Thankfully the resort was beautiful, very scenic with an amazing view. But I would not stay there again.

The hotel was impressive. the grounds were super. This is a great place to vacation.
