Excellent resort! Plenty of choices to eat and swim. Piper at swim up bar is awesome! Great service and very personable, look him up! Marlyn head of the restaurants is doing an amazing job, always helpful and very Good at his job! Marvelous Micheal in the buffet restaurant ( breakfast and lunch) off to the right side is awesome! Excellent service to all in his area, always very friendly and polite. Cat wait to go back!

The food was very cold the jacuzzi did not work many of the lights did not work repeated call to the front desk and house maintenance did not resolve the problem the room needed to be much Cana

My birthday experience started off horriable. Check in took more than 2 hours because the room was not ready and another mix-up with the room. Very hard to get reservations at speciality restaurants and when you do portions are very small and food is not tasty. Customer service is poor, we waited 3 days into our trip to speak to a manager. Thankfully the resort was beautiful, very scenic with an amazing view. But I would not stay there again.

The hotel was impressive. the grounds were super. This is a great place to vacation.

I had a wonderful time. Everything was to my comfort

Enjoyed this trip immensely my only issue was the availability of the hotels restaurants and the buffets weren't great

great hotel but needs to have better food. Staff was very friendly.

The first day at the hotel were perfect. Nice lovely room, lovely food, lots of different activities to get involved in, sadly things took a turn for the worse when the AC in the room stopped working. It was at this point that the 30 degree hot humid Jamaican weather took its wrath upon us. Could not sleep a wink it was so uncomfortable. I do recognize that this was likely an isolated incident, but that did not console me during my sleepless night. So for the next 2 nights it was literal torture. But apart from that the hotel was pretty good.

This is a wonderful all-inclusive resort for the price! The pool is huge, plenty of room for everyone to have their own space. The beach however, is not that great. It is very rocky and does not feature the crystal clear waters you would expect to find in the Caribbean. Plenty of water sports are offered on the beach (kayaking, snorkeling, paddle boarding, etc.) at no additional cost. If you are looking for a picturesque beach this is not the place for you. The food was good. Omelette station for breakfast was great! The buffet has a huge selection of American foods as well as local Jamaican food. You only get a limited number of a la carte's depending on the duration of your stay. I was there Friday-Tuesday and received only two a la carte reservations. Reservations are required for all a la cartes. The food at both a la cartes was okay, nothing amazing. I preferred the food from the buffet. The bars at the resort are wonderful! service is quick and drinks were delicious. Wide selection of tropical cocktails is available. The swim-up bar was awesome! No need to leave the pool at all. The room was amazing! I was on the 7th floor of building where the lobby is located. The view from the balcony was incredible, had a direct view of the pool and the ocean. The room was big and comfortable. Lovely bathroom.

My husband and I had a wonderful time , the staf was great, the hotel is beautiful, we could of stayed longer.

The property and view looked just like the pictures. I had a room over the lobby, which provided a perfect central view. Although, I didn't try any of the a la carte restaurants, the food and service in the buffet was still top notch. The staff was always very friendly, helpful and courteous. Ive stayed at GBP in another country and I will give them my business when they are an option for any of my vacations.

I would not stay here ever again. The hotel is flooding in multiple rooms and the staff are horrible. Mini bar is never stocked and the manager is the worst ever I will never stay at a Bahia again. Ever

Grand Bahia Principe Jamaica is a huge resort. I booked a privileged club room which came with slippers, bathroom, and ocean view. There is a lot of walking depending on where your room is located. I think service in the buffet could be improved. It took a long time just to receive two drinks and even longer for a refill. Also, the buffet should be more cooler inside. It felt very warm. The food choices varied each day. I really enjoyed the beach grill restaurant that had some of the best jerk chicken I had in a while. The speciality restaurants I tried were average (Steakhouse & Italian). Overall, I did enjoy my time at Grand Bahia Principe Jamaica. I enjoyed the beach grill restaurant, drinks, pool, and beach.

My husband and myself went to the Grand Bahia Príncipe for four days. When we checked in, everything looked to be clean. It took forever to check in. The front desk always had a long line and long wait. We went up to our room and got showered and ready from our flight. The shower backed up all over the room. They only gave us 2 towels total, no hand towels or floor mats. So our towels were soaked. Had to call mainanance and housekeeping for that. Had a good time at the beach, (which is very rocky) and we were going to bed for the night. When we were getting into bed, we pulled the sheets back and there was SAND in our "clean" bed. So gross!!! Then, went to the mini bar to get a water, WRONG AGAIN! It was half drank!! Hotel staff didn't apologize or offer a new room, could only send housekeeping. I was totally disappointed and heartbroken that we spent so much money to be in tears on night one. Ok day 2 it didn't start out much better, so I went to the desk to see about getting another room. After the runaround for over an hour, sweating in the lobby with no a/c, they told me I had to talk to my "tour rep". After I talked to her, she said the front desk should be doing it, but helped us out anyways. We had to PAY EXTRA to upgrade our room to get decent service. I can honestly say that we travel a lot, and have been to many hotels and all inclusive resorts. and this is the worst one by far!! Stay away!!!

Staff helpful and good customer service. Food and drinks were good.

Excellent dining experience, night time entertainment, one of Jamaica's best beaches on the western end of the waterfront. Very relaxing and enjoyable stay.

Beach and ocean views were amazing. Pool was nice and hotel was nice. Hotel staff was hard to deal with at times. There was no sense of time or urgency so nothing was ever on time. House keepers were loud in the hallways at 7am. Recieved phone calls and knocks on door too early that woke us up. Staff couldnt help with questions or directions. They sent us to several other people to help. Hallway noise and neighbor noise was loud. No quiet time hours. Buffet food was disappointing and crowded. Often was out of tables, plates, food. The pool area ran out of towels everyday.

When you scratch the surface; short staff, poor maintenance, took 3 days to get a wash cloth in my room.

Stayed 4 days 3 nights and that wasn't long enough. Everything was wonderful, looking forward to going back.
