Well sense you ask,the first day we got there the ac was not cooling the room call Maintnance they say they fix but feel the same . We ask to change room and they down grade us to a smaller room . ``Tub`` wasent holding water and I didn’t want to call Maintnance because we didn’t want to send back to a smaller room .my girl had to call font desk to get our room clean . Everything else is ok . Love Jamaica .

Hotel needs a little work! Elevator never worked always had to take the stairs were on the 5th floor which wouldn’t of been a big deal if you didn’t have to walk a mile and a half to get to anything at this resort! Room was clean. The beach was not that great you could not find seashells because of the reef. The sit down dinners were very good. The buffet was not! If you are looking for a quiet relaxing getaway With a beautiful beach I would choose Nigril!!! We did have a good time in spite of the little things!

I was recommended by my family and friends, it was not the experience I expected, the restaurant are too far from the rooms, too far from Ocho Rios and all other excitement, I paid for five days and slept their only one night, the food wasn’t up to par, the waiter and waitresses were very pleasant, warm, and inviting, I ate more days away from the hotel than I did...

At this very busy time I can't say enough as the staff, rooms and the food was very good. The pool area was always clean, and the pool bartender Tommoy was the best.

The service, the grounds were just amazing. Would highly recommend to others. Food was very good the entertainment was very good. Beach party was the best. The swim up bartender Tommi was the best always there for us.

We never got a room there. When we arrived they didn’t even have a reservation. Said they were going to upgrade us and we went to luxury side. Once there , they were overbooked also and have us one king size bed when we had 2 doubles for our stay! Not ok. Orbitz totally screwed up on this one! I booked through Orbitz in January for this trip! It’s ridiculous and I will never use Orbitz or Grand Bahia again!

The toilet in my bathroom became over flooded and then flooded my room at 8:05 am. It took 5 phone calls to get the front desk to find staff to take care of the issue. The toilet over flooded with water coming from everywhere. A maintenance guy came to stop the toilet at around 8:20am; so I was sitting there clinched on my bed with all of our luggage so that the toilet water would not touch it. After he stopped the toilet from running, I asked when was housekeeping coming to clean and disinfect the area.. he laughed and walked away. After calling back the front desk 3x and cursing them out a manager came to my room and I asked to be switched to another room. He stated he could not switch me to another room until around 2 pm and I would have to stay in the messy room for almost 6 hours. After threatening to report the hotel on social media and news media they told me they have another room available and moved me. Most of the staff were not accommodating and it seemed like we had to beg them for any type of customer service. The food was ok in the buffet until a very big roach appeared on the dining table to dine also! Dining staff are not friendly and all have bad attitudes! Dining staff would give you a table and as soon as you would walk away from it to get food , they would give it to someone else! If we sat at a table for 5 or 6 because they had no more available tables for two they would ask why are we sitting there and that the table is meant for 6 and not for two.

Loved the environment .The beach was great. The pool was always fun and entertaining.

Horrible. This was not a true ALL INCLUSIVE, too many services required additional payment. WiFi was at an exorbitant cost and the in room safe was at a high price also. The beach restaurant did not deliver on the services advertised; their A la Carte from 11 am to 12 noon was non existent. There was no mini bar in the room and no coffee set up

My wife and I picked the grand Bahia for our vacation and we couldn’t of had a better time! We spent a majority of our week relaxing at the beach by the resort then hanging out in the pool. Plenty of indoor and out door food and drink spots. We loved the jerk chicken at lunch! The resort is only about a 20 ride to Dunn’s river falls and Ocho Rios for shopping etc. we’ll be back!

We had to ask for wash cloths multiple days. Room was not supplied with the minimum 2 coffee with creamer and sugar and when I asked, house keeper simply said I don't have more. Room was not properly cleaned, did not smell fresh. Water was frequently not replaced in mini bar. Close to the end of dinner time (15 minutes before it ended) workers started packing away the food. At the end of breakfast coffee is cold and when I asked for it to be warmer I was told we are out at this station. I had to get a manager to get hot coffee. The drink of the night was finished at 8:50 p.m. and not refilled even though dinner ends at 10 p.m. The culture was observed to be, workers started to pack up 15 minutes before the allotted time for both dinner and breakfast ended and then workers stared setting up or thee next gathering. Even garbage containers are moved through the dinning area while people are eating. Large garbage pails simply covered by a table cloth carried on these carts through the dinning area, a reason to loose your appetite.

I have stayed in many hotels in Jamaica. This was my third visit to this hotel I stayed on their new luxury side. It is their adults only section if you’re traveling without children I highly recommend There new luxury side. If you’re traveling with children you won’t be disappointed either they have built a great new fun park for the kids. The staff was incredible everyone was so friendly and so helpful. Their buffet had the best selection of food. There restaurants are also incredible. if you’re looking for a great Jamaican experience this is the place to stay.

Food had quantities but no quantity. Everything tasted the same.

This hotel is one of the worse resorts I have stayed at. The staff members were rude. The resort ran out if most of the alcohol. The food is gross and never hot. I wouldn't go back. It was my first time to Jamaica and it kinda ruined me wanting me to go back.

Everything was lovely I enjoyed myself. The food was great, rooms were clean, staff was very pleasant. It has its own beach, several pools, multiple restaurants. I really enjoyed my vacation

Misleading ad about hotel. Room service poor, you have to tip to get basic items like wash cloths and to replenish refrigerator. The guys in restaurants are more personable than ladies. Tv out of service for two days and was told cable service was down when the cable cord was unplugged. Very disappointed.

I really enjoyed my stay at the Grand Bahia principe. The food was great and the service was too. It was a wonderful experience.

The food was OK, bathroom had mold, the kids rooms were to have two double bed as my children are two boys and one girl. Only a king bed was in the room they made promises daily to bring a bed to the room.. They never did,.my daughter had to sleep on the couch for her entire 5 days stay. You only get Wi-Fi for free in the lobby and most time you are not able to connect to Wi-Fi. If you do decide to buy Wi-Fi you must buy the 7 day package even if your stay if shower than that and it's 15 US dollars per day.. Shantee Currie was a awesome staff she tried to assist us as best she could,alothough she work for a different section of the hotel..... The structure is vet nice, but the running of the hotel definitely needs improvement .

vacation and not the gym

bad customer service
