Absolute nightmare. My reservation was moved from Runaway Bay (no longer a Decameron property) to Decameron Montego Bay. Line long & moves slow for check-in. They couldn't find my reservation for half hour. Eventually registered at 3 but no room available until 5. Allowed on property but only 1 restaurant open with long line. They ran out of cheese, burger buns, and plates. Nobody came to explain what's going on or ETA for anything. Requested 2 beds, got only 1. Was told they have too many reservations with 3 & 4 people to get 2 persons 2 beds. Got only 1 room key, that's all they had available at the time. Phone in the room doesn't work. No elevator & no bell people in sight to take the bags upstairs to the room. The hotel no longer provides wash rags and gift shop did not have any available to buy. I had to go up a block to the supermarket to buy wash rags. No iron in the room, outlets don't work. The one the tv is plugged into works. If you need to charge 2 things you had to unplug the tv. Brochure said every room had shower & tub. Lies. My room had a section of a shower enclosure, no door. Every time we had a shower, floor towel got soaked. Several parties that take place off and on property nightly- shakes the windows, cacophony of sound and vibrations does not allow sleep before 2. Apologies but there's nothing they can do. Fully booked cannot move my room. The pool towel stand is nowhere near pool way at 1 end of property at the gym. They kept running out of things.

This hotel was quite disappointing. For the price I expected better facilities. The building is tired and needs modernisation. The room where I stayed had thin walls so we could hear our neighbours when they came in at 3am in the morning and having loud conversations. We were woken at 6am in the morning by workmen on the side street laying tarmac, sounds of loud drilling from the vehicles and machinery. Food was good but not a great selection and when it’s finished it doesn’t always get topped up. The plus side was the staff, very friendly and very helpful. The entertainment was great, and the beach is beautiful.

Had another absolutely amazing stay the staff go above and beyond especially the whole of the entertainment team shakera dyce yogi freeza candies lady d simone and everyone else i cant remember all names but every single one of them deserve an award for all the hard work they do they go above and beyond for every si gle guest and they take there time to sit and talk to you as humans not just holiday guests they take note of what people want and make advances for it to happen the best entertainment team ive come across and i do the job myself in another country bug shout out to amoy on reception aswell who always goes above and beyond, absolutely amazing zero complaints

Everybody was so friendly and warm, the food was great!, the grounds well kept, however the internet was horrible, i was sadly working and even in the lobby the network was poor.but overall my stay was excellent! The bathrooms could benefit from some love, maybe a deodorizer or two

Decameron is value for money. The property is beautiful and tranquil, offering a serene setting for relaxation. The rooms were clean and adequate, but they need updating. The staff were super friendly and helpful. The food was not over the top, but was adequate

The good stuff... The hotel was clean & well kept. Our room was clean. Staff was courteous & friendly. The amenities of the hotel were very good. The a la carte restaurant was absolutely great. Big up Andrew who was our waiter! He took care of us & made our dining experiences wonderful, he even took great photos for us as well. The bad... The food was not what we expected, not a lot of variety no seafood was available in the buffet (except fish, that i don't eat), we think the safe in our room was tampered with as we were locked out and had to call a staff member to get it open. Overall, it was an ok stay.
