Love this place it’s like right in the middle of the action, awsome staff and facility Cutest rooms

Front desk staff, bellman, bar tender and housekeeping were all very attentive. Location could not have been better! Close walking distance to Ocean Drive, the beach, bars and restaurants. Highly recommend and would not look any further for a fair priced hotel in the heart of South Beach.

Too much to document.... just lots of basic things were missed. Including a dangerous cracked mirror in the shower that was simply overlooked. Come on...

Extremely convenient, close to the beach, and worked around my unscheduled extended stay for work, thank you I appreciate the assistance... Keep up the good work

The room was filthy dirty. We ended up having to buy cleaner at the corner store and spending 40 minutes cleaning the whole place.

Customer service was not friendly and extremely unhelpful. Hotel advertises a roof top terrace which most definitely does not exist. Overall bad experience, would not recommend.

I had a very uneven experience at the Chesterfield. I was given an "upgraded room" because my booked jr suite was unavailable. The upgraded room was nice enough, it was in a building next door, unfortunately, after a little while a few things became clear. It was loud, it was next to the entrance gate, you hear everything, and the mattress cover wasn't exactly clean. The tv had static, the phone didn't work and oddly enough the clock was blinking. None of that exactly mattered, what mattered to me was the wifi didn't work. Also since I was there during a cold snap the heater didn't work when I tried that later on... So I wasn't exactly happy, and then around 3 a.m. a large group came up the stairs through an attached hallway and had a great time for 90 minutes... the floor was thin and with no phone I couldn't complain and was too tired to get up... The next day I asked for a different room. I got a nice quite room on the top floor all the way in the back. Everything worked, was clean, and lovely. I didn't get the difference in price refunded but that's fine. In lieu of breakfast there is a nightly complementary happy hour. Which was well liquor and mixer which actually was a very nice way to get your evening started... The hotel is near everything and the staff was helpful enough. I stayed for 4 days. 3 were great.

Excellent location but room was extremely small and noisy! Excellent staff and location. I would probably rec to other friends but would most likely recommend another more upscale hotel in the same area

We had a great time at the hotel this past weekend. Check in was good. Wish the room had at least a microwave and space in the fridge for our own things. The bartender at happy hour didn’t put much alcohol in our drinks but we made the best of our drinks.

Great hotel, close to entertainment and food was the best part

The room was great and the check in was super fast, we had a great room ( not 5 star ) but for the price we paid it was great, the hotel shuttle came in time, the room was really clean and smelled great, we stayed at 215 so it was away from the music playing down stairs, check out took 2 seconds literally. Overall great place and we got free drinks from 7-8pm. Deffinitely plan on staying there again.

Beautifully decorated room and nice bathroom. Great location as well. Cleanliness in the shower needs improvement but overall a great hotel.

I've stayed at the Chesterfield Hotel three times now. The location if you are looking to be right in the middle of all of the action of South Beach is perfect. The hotel itself is disappointing, especially this last time. The staff is ok but one manager in particular was rude and lazy. Towels are hard to come by by your second night. The free happy hour is a nice perk but please be advised it is the cheapest of the cheap well liquor. The area is pretty sketchy and we actually had a man open our room door while we were sleeping the last night (around 3AM). He opened with a room key so I'm guessing he told the staff the wrong room number and without checking they gave him a key to our room. TERRIFYING and unprofessional. It shows their lack of regard for safety. We also heard a lot of commotion each of our nights there including loud arguing and drunk people walking by our room. Tons of people tend to loiter in front of the hotel at all hours of the day and night. Also, BEWARE of the corner right by the hotel... just BEWARE, especially at night. If you are looking for a party hotel, this is it and that is all it is. If you are looking for comfortable or relaxing accommodations... pay a little more and stay somewhere else. I've learned my lesson this time and will not be returning.

The location is great. A few steps from Ocean Drive. The hotel is decently priced. Nothing fancy. My bed in room 514 was actually lop sided & gave me a backache but thank god I did not stay in my room as much. The price & location was still too good to complain. I will probably come back to this hotel again.

My first room smelled like mildew and the air would not work. I couldnt change rooms until the morning. The second room was fine, until while I was sleeping a stranger walked in. They didnt log into their system that they switched my room, so they activated a key to my current room for a complete and total stranger. It was pretty upsetting to wake up to someone I dont know waltzing in. The staff didnt seem to think this error was as serious as I did. The hot water didnt work, I took cold showers all trip. I wasnt comfortable. I dont think anyone should pay for a room and then be uncomfortable.

This was the absolutely worst hotel I've ever dealt with! I've traveled from country to country and many different states, and never have I ever dealt with such a horrible staff! The shuttle never arrived, the front desk kept saying he was on route, he never came and i ended up booking an Uber. I booked a room which they refused to give me, and they charged me before I even walked to the room! Then upon informing them that's not what I paid for Angel, he refused to refund me!! Do not stay here!

Great location, easy access to beaches and activities...decent hotel. For great dinner try Milos down on 1st street

The Hotel was nice, I was surprised I really didn't know what to expect. It was clean and close to the beach and nightlife entertainment, abdr restaurant. The perfect location in South Beach...

Me estafaron. Me cobraron, me derivaron al hotel Metrolope que da miedo, no me dieron habitación, me hicieron esperar casi una hora porque estaban con otro huésped al que le habían generado un problema, me maltrataron, y no me devolvieron mi dinero.

outstanding art deco hotel
