The comfort of the hotel was nice. The room was clean and very close to the airport and surrounding places to restaurants.

Hotel was perfect for what we needed. Hotel staff very friendly and helpful.Check in was fast with no problems. Room clean and comfortable. King size bed was especially comfortable. Nice size TV with a fair amount of good channels. Shower has great pressure with a tall shower head and large size tub. Airport shuttle was fast and efficient. Complimentary breakfast was great! Usual toast, pastries, fruit, and cereal plus hot scrambled eggs, sausage, and waffles. Staff clears plates very efficiently. The front desk was even able to store our luggage for the day after we checked out because our flight did not leave until the evening. The only downside is there is no fan in the bathroom so the mirror steams up during showers but after leaving the door open for 10-15 minutes it clears right up so really not that big of a deal. Plus, there are plenty of mirrors in the room as well. I would definitely stay here again!

Workers were all nice and responsive but management must not be giving them the tools to succeed. Location is boring. Nothing to walk to but a McDonalds. Worst La Quinta that I've stayed in by far.

I made and paid my reservations with 18 days in advance through Orbitz. I reserved a room with 2 queen beds, refrigerator and microwave for two nights. On August 4th, I went to check in at 10:30 pm, I received my room but I soon I entered I notice it was a standard double full room. I called the lobby and talked to the manager who said they are full that weekend and he couldn't do anything. He said because I reserved through I third party they only receive a notification that my room is two beds...hard to believe because they have 4 types of room and different prices, so why I was paying at least $30 more for the standard room? he only accepted to refund me the difference in room rates. We are 4 adults a my 7y old son, we are not going to fit in that standard room and he also said he couldn't send me an additional bed. We had to go to the lobby with the luggage to get that he sent the additional bed and change the room for the next day (Kig bed and a sofa bed). One day later, I called Orbitz to let them know the problems that I had and request the refund in rates for the first night. They contacted the hotel and said that they does not allowed it. Never ever I will book with La Quinta LAX, they overbooking or give your room to other people if you have a late check in and they do not accept responsibility for their mistakes.

Breakfast was good, price was very fair, the staff was helpful, and it was close to my van rental place. I wish parking were included, but the price was still fair overall.

An average but not unpleasant experience. The hotel was adequate and undergoing renovation. The breakfast option in the morning was acceptable and a nice addition. The parking situation is a bit challenging but to be expected given the proximity to the airport.

Simply put, don't expect anything from a decent hotel here.

The rooms and public areas were clean. Plenty of towels were provided in the room.. it was the staff and their help that made the difference.

We like staying at La Quinta if we have an early flight out and/or a late return flight. The shuttle comes every 1/2 hour. This time I forgot to mention that I wanted the park and ride but the front desk took care of it. The parking for the car is secure and covered and right there at the hotel (we've stayed other places that advertise park and fly but their parking was a couple blocks away and outside).

Hotel is undergoing a lot of construction and renovations, so current cost is very attractive especially if you are just there for the night to catch a flight out of LAX the next morning. Otherwise, construction noise and mess is a little over bearing.

Disappointing visit all around. The first room I checked into had not been cleaned. Then, they checked someone else into the room I was sleeping in, so I got an unpleasant middle of the night surprise when a visitor walked into my room. Breakfast was mediocre, sheets scratchy, street noise bad. Can't recommend.

Just wanted a place that was close to LAX with parking. This fit the bill. Good wifi; parking was 17 bucks per day for guests with in-out privileges.

Nice and clean. Friendly staff. Great resturant. Convenient location. Plan on returning.

This is the better hotel, I would like to stay two nights here rather than 1 night here and 1 night in courtyard

For the price it's not bad the front desk staff were very nice and polite. It's the other thing s about the hotel I wonder about . They allow pets and people let there dogs wizz were they like. Aloe the decor of the hotel is out of date . The kitchen staff mainly Lauara is rude ! I guess there short staffed in there and it's a fight to get a clean table for breakfast... Don't think I will be staying here again needless to say .

a tired old hotel in need of renovation
