Simply put, don't expect anything from a decent hotel here.

The rooms and public areas were clean. Plenty of towels were provided in the room.. it was the staff and their help that made the difference.

We like staying at La Quinta if we have an early flight out and/or a late return flight. The shuttle comes every 1/2 hour. This time I forgot to mention that I wanted the park and ride but the front desk took care of it. The parking for the car is secure and covered and right there at the hotel (we've stayed other places that advertise park and fly but their parking was a couple blocks away and outside).

Hotel is undergoing a lot of construction and renovations, so current cost is very attractive especially if you are just there for the night to catch a flight out of LAX the next morning. Otherwise, construction noise and mess is a little over bearing.

Disappointing visit all around. The first room I checked into had not been cleaned. Then, they checked someone else into the room I was sleeping in, so I got an unpleasant middle of the night surprise when a visitor walked into my room. Breakfast was mediocre, sheets scratchy, street noise bad. Can't recommend.

Just wanted a place that was close to LAX with parking. This fit the bill. Good wifi; parking was 17 bucks per day for guests with in-out privileges.

Nice and clean. Friendly staff. Great resturant. Convenient location. Plan on returning.

This is the better hotel, I would like to stay two nights here rather than 1 night here and 1 night in courtyard

For the price it's not bad the front desk staff were very nice and polite. It's the other thing s about the hotel I wonder about . They allow pets and people let there dogs wizz were they like. Aloe the decor of the hotel is out of date . The kitchen staff mainly Lauara is rude ! I guess there short staffed in there and it's a fight to get a clean table for breakfast... Don't think I will be staying here again needless to say .

Great staff, but very tired hotel, in need of a major uplift...

When I checked in, I found out parking was not free because I made a reservation through Expedia, not directly with them. I had to pay parking fee for 11 days. It seems the decision was based on the front desk clerk. I told her I could cancel the reservation with Expedia and make a new reservation with them. Then they told me they would give me discount on my parking without changing my original reservation. Well, to avoid the hassle, I took their offer but I felt something was not right.

The room was so small, it was stuffy. There was too much furniture and the heat/AC was too powerful for the tiny room. For the size and amount paid for parking, way over priced. There are better La Quinta inns.

Had a layover. The shuttle didn't run quite as often as advertised, but was sufficient. The hotel room was quiet even though it faced the street. The breakfast was good.

a tired old hotel in need of renovation

1st room: not cleaned. 2nd room: midnight surprise

Disappointing visit all around. The first room I checked into had not been cleaned. Then, they checked someone else into the room I was sleeping in, so I got an unpleasant middle of the night surprise when a visitor walked into my room.
