I stayed in a junior suite - the furniture was old and run down outlets in the lamps did not work. Restaurant was not open even though the mask mandate was removed over 2 weeks ago even the waterfalls on the property were not even working. Prices on the menu at the bar were ridiculous wanting $41 for a grilled chicken breast. Will never stay there again.

Hidden fees. On top of outrageous amounts. $49 for daily parking. Booked a room for $772 oceanview. i was charged over $1300 total and i was in the corner. Pool was closed early. No room amenities. Not even a cup or ice bucket. Was complained on after only being tbere 30 kins to an hour after my white neighbor came out and saw 2 black people and immediately retreated with an attitude. Next thing you know security is at the door 1st saying they hot a complaint of cigar smoke i said thats impossible. I took pictures of the candles sage and palo santo wood i burned just to cleanse the room. Because she felt dumb she then switched the story to a maid saw me. Again impossible. 15 mins after i left for dinner only 2 hour after checking in i was charge $276. It was horrible. I left feeling completely ripped off and saying ill never ever go back and ill never refer them to anyone.

I was super impressed with them. I booked my reservation while we were on the freeway and when we arrived at almost 4am we were beat and exhausted from the drive. We took a chance and asked if it were possible to check in early and to our surprise they said yes. Staff has been AMAZING. Everyone is super nice and goes way above and beyond to make you feel comfortable and safe. Extremely clean. We only spent one night but first impressions are key and we are sold. We will definitely become regulars. Also we love to ride bikes along the beach so imagine our surprise when they had complimentary bikes sanitized and ready to roll.

I reserved a room with a city view and a king size bed. When I got to my room it had 2 double beds. I went back to the front desk and was told there were no more rooms with king beds. I questioned the concept of a reservation since I didn't reserve a room with 2 double beds but a king bed. I then had to show them proof of my reservation that did indeed say "king bed." After that they gave me a room with a king size bed. So they flat out lied and said they didn't have any more rooms with a king bed but then gave me one after jumping through hoops. This made me frustrated and embarrassed. It was very frustrating to go through this at a JW Marriott property where I paid over $400 for the night. I didn't expect to have to argue to get the room I reserved and unfortunately this incident put me in a foul mood for the rest of my stay.

Everything was great when we first arrived--friendly staff, clean, great service--until we got back at our room at 10:45 pm after dinner and the key would not work. The green indicator light turned on, but the door was broken and just wouldn't open. An "engineer" arrived to try to get it open, and he couldn't get it either. It was getting quite late, and still, no one could get it open. This had "never" happened before, we were told. We waited in the empty lobby for a while, then were given access to the room next door to ours and were told we could sleep there, but obviously had no belongings, as they were all in the inaccessible room next door. We had to wake up at 6 am for a flight the next day, so this was incredibly frustrating. Finally, at 1 am, they managed to get the door open. This was 2 hours of wasted time. For $241/night, something like this should not have happened. The next morning, the only thing they could do to "credit" us, was to waive the parking fee, and the $10.28 "hotel fee". The $241 was still charged, and there was "nothing" they could do because it was booked through a 3rd party--Orbitz. This is definitely not Orbitz's problem, so the hotel should've found a way to make things right. Ideas, since they couldn't come up with anything: credit us with a complimentary 1 night at their chain, or cut a check in the amount we paid...

Great location. Beautiful hotel. No complaints. Easy to get to the pier and restaurants. Very helpful staff.

Very nice experience, Ron from the desk gave a us a special attention for or honeymoon and was very friendly and helpful. Nice and clean room, good location in Santa Monica.

Overall very happy with our short stay Staff were great. Apollo was very good at his job and Julie was an excellent person to greet us at the desk. Our stay was comfortable food was fantastic at Cezzane for breakfast. B.L.T. was awesome. Only short star was a leak from upstairs had caused some ceiling damage and mold in our shower. 305 I'm sure they will fix making it a nice jump point for your trip.
