Interior design is beautiful calming atmosphere- Bermuda- like

The Waterfront Inn is a beautiful building and grounds. However, the inside was like stepping back into the 80s. The wallpaper was super outdated with huge flowers and dark colors. The inside of the elevator had a bamboo ceiling and sides which smelled awful.

Good location, nice view overlooking lake and pool. Outdated decor and old bed - very uncomfortable.

Outdated - bad check in process overall clean but decor is old and lobby is small

It’s very old or isn’t and badly needs updating. Rates are way over priced but when you are the only player in town...... Still doesn’t justify $300 per night without breakfast. I was having drinks outside on the patio at 4pm, I wasn’t aware it was a segregated area for the restaurant but the staff made sure I knew as they wanted us to move along because we were only having drinks. I let them know we were staying at the hotel and NO I wasn’t moving till I was ready to leave. Checkout was “I’m checking out room xxx. Okay you are good.” Not worried if I enjoyed my stay or whether everything was okay. It was an inconvenience to them to print out my receipt. Would I stay there again ? NEVER. The lake view seems like a retention pond for the development.

The only down side to our stay was that check in/out was slow, I had to ask a hostess if there was someone working, apparently the printer that is located on the front desk (it actually is a couple Desks) doesn't work with the computer that is at the Desk. So the front Desk clerk had to go to the back room to print out your paperwork. They probably could use a computer room for access by the guest, I had to ask the clerk to print out our boarding passes. There again she had to go to the back room to get them.

very nice location, very close to lake sumter landing

Great location Why should I write more when I was just there to visit It’s just a room which happens to be in the right spot

Nice location to walk around Sumter Landing and all the shops and restruants. The food at the hotel was not the best, mattress in room and tv was dated.

Room with a balcony is great for watching sunrise and wildlife!

Everything about this hotel has always been excellent - this is our 4th year staying there - but this time the floor in the restaurant for the breakfast buffet was so sticky i had to wash the soles of my shoes after we left. And we were the first there for breakfast.

Love the wallpaper and exterior spaces on the lake and in front of the hotel

Walking distance to town center shops, dining choices and entertainment. Special mention to desk help “Jessica” who was charming and most helpful. Hotel has restaurant and live music nightly as well as beautiful outdoor lake dining and pool in back.

I stayed for a week at this hotel. One day we were without plumbing and water for 7 hours due to a water msin break. I understand that. Room service didnt deliver in a timely fashion and forgot utensils. The staff was unfriendly. Clinton was nice and always greeted me as well as one of the hostesses. The carpeting needed to be cleaned and caused my feet to be black thus having me wear shoes in the room. Plus my air conditioning in room didnt work. Took them two days to get me another room. Very disappointed and did bring my concerns to the front desk but nothing was done. They should have comped me for the week.

Room was a little musty, but it's a great location, very convenient.

Ac brokefirst room could have declared a up grade for incv/ also front porch could use a am power wash daily ciggs ashes spills etc/ curb appeal

Nice hotel. We were there to visit family. Clean and friendly. Breakfast could use some improving.
