I didn't interact with the staff much, but when I did they were pleasant and helpful. The room was good sized and fairly clean, but a bit drab. The mattress was OK, but the pillows were horrible. Definitely bring your own if you can. There only 2 electrical plugs accessible in the room, neither was near the bed or a table which made re-charging phones and other devices difficult. The casino itself is definitely showing its age, but it's location is still fantastic.

I booked thru Orbitz and was promised a lake view room. turns out I was lied to by the Orbitz guy--he had put a request. long story short --I paid for a lake view room and did not get it and the hotel did not comp or do anything to make things better.

The hotel is right on the strip, near everything, great view of the lake. It has everything you need so you don't need to leave the hotel unless you want to.

Booked a king room online, checked in and got to room... It was 2 doubles. Also had a dirty wash cloth hanging from the shower rod. Location is convenient. Staff was very friendly. Starbucks was expensive. $3 more for my normal drink.

My room was near the elevator and that's all I heard all night long! Other than that the stay was a typical hotel.

Well sited near everything but the place is a bit tired.

Room was nice. Some hair on bathroom floor. An unexpected resort fee upon checking. Was 30% of total cost.

Moved rooms 3 times, 4 girls and kept getting a room with 1 king, finally put on the pet floor with view of roof...idea of helping us out was $25 credit...really??? I booked room back in May, it was my actual birthday and we were going to a concert and wanted to get ready but couldn't get a room...basically staff said it was because I booked on discount website.

I will came back in winter for sure . Nice town, great service and lots o fun a great food

It was ok, I had a non smoking room and it smelled like stale smoke or it just smelled old. I would not stay there again unless you want to gamble and rooms are free. Was not the highlight of our trip

Need to repair the shower in room 751 , to much water pressure . Water gets all over the floor . Safety issue.

We booked a nonsmoking room but the smell of cigarette smoke was overwhelming. In fact smoke was quite prevalent throughout the hotel and casino.

Harveys is working hard to keep facilities up to date as the aging clock works against them. Facilities show signs of wear but overall are very appealing and the hotel room was extremely comfortable. The gym and pool facilities were nicely staff and maintained. I did not care for the "resort fee" charge for simple use of gym and pool. I have stayed here multiple times and will continue to do so for its casino amenities and convenience to shopping and South Lake Tahoe attractions.

Disgusting, smelly old rooms.

We were married in Harvey's Wedding Chapel 27 years ago and this was our first trip back. The rooms are well appointed as we remembered. Comfortable queen beds in our room as requested. We ate at the HRC which is a chain - food and drinks as expected. We played craps in the casino during the afternoon and found the casino staff helpful and patient since we don't play often and had to be reminded of some of the procedures when betting. Centrally located and has an outdoor pool. Also, close proximity to Lake Tahoe with a walking path to a state park. We reserved a dinner cruise on the MS Dixie which provides transportation directly from the transportation Center at Harvey's meaning we never had to move our car from the complimentary valet parking :) Hotel staff (with the exception of the Starbucks crew) were attentive, pleasant and friendly. Don't bother with the Starbucks if you have any other plans. They couldn't have been more apathetic and so slooooooowwwwwwwww. They obviously do not care to provide good customer service unlike the rest of the resort.

We had a good time but they hotel is dated.. The updated rooms were nice so make sure u get a luxury room otherwise you will be staying in your late grandmas apt

old beddings and horrible pillows, old feather pillows all the feathers are poked out and its very bad and uncomfortable.

This is an aged hotel. Sometimes would smell cigarette smoke in the room even though we were on a no smoking floor. They charged for internet, fitness room, pool with the 'resort' fees. I guess they weren't making enough in the casino.

Had a great time, everything was perfect. Clean hotel.

Didnt like that I had to pay the 25 resort fee for nothing.
