Hallway needed vacuuming. Liked parking and check in/out.

The room was nice and dark

So far so good

I will begin with what I did enjoy about the property. Check-in and check-out was simple with the available kiosk. There was also plenty of spacing for cars to pick up or drop off guests and their luggage. Unfortunately that's all I can say positively about the property and I have a list of disappointing things. Firstly, the elevators are extremely small and unpractical for a hotel. Really only 3 guests with large suitcases can fit in one. Second, my room was very outdated and needed some serious work. The wall paper was peeling in several areas, the carpet appeared quite old & dirty, there were paint chips all over the walls, and there was only one accessible outlet. The outlet was also loose and my phone charger would fall out of it. I eventually placed a water bottle under the charger to hold it in place. I will say the bathtub and toilet were clean but the wallpaper was also peeling in the bathroom. Thirdly, the parking garage was slightly confusing. It appeared another garage was maybe being worked on so the garage we used may have not been the usual garage. During check -in, the kiosk told me I would need a room key to use the garage, which was not true. The garage was also not easily marked with directions or signs. Overall, my experience was disappointing because of how outdated the hotel was. I have stayed in nicer Motel 6's and also didn't have to pay a resort fee. If Harvey's wants to be represented as a resort/experience, they need to do some serious upgrades.

I enjoyed my stay here it was very nice and loved my room with beautiful scenery overlooking the water and on the other side the beautiful night lights. I would rent here again if I returned to lake Tahoe

I wouldn't stay there again

Just park one time and done, everything in the area including skiing can be done by walking. Parking is safe for your vehicle as well.

Staying at Harvey's when in SLT for skiiing is super-convenient! I park in the covered garage and then I don't have to use my vehicle for the entire stay. I can walk to the grocery store, lots of restaurants to choose from, room service if I'm in the mood for that, plus when the lifts open it's a short walk to the gondola. Best part is when I leave the room key allows you to exit the parking garage at no charge. I really miss the Hard Rock Cafe that used to be located there however, I guess I'll have to man-up and try the new HK ;)

The property was very clean and the staff was friendly. The location of the property is walking distance from all the shops and restaurants.

!

On my final morning there the electricity went out in half of the room, including all of the bathroom. When I mentioned this to the checkout person, they just said, "oh, ya you just push the GIF button and then it is fine". I could not find this because the entry way was dark. They know they have an electrical problem and refuse to fix it.

The location is great, the room we got was remodeled and clean. I got hungry after all the restaurants were closed. I went to find a vending machine or a small store. The one vending machine I found had a poor selection. It would have been nice to find late night food in the hotel.

My room was dated and smelled like smoke. Wallpaper was peeling off the walls, hair was found on my bathroom floor. Furniture looked old and abused. The elevator was worn out with tape holding down the tiles of the floor. Seriously this place should be condemned. The staff was nice and friendly can't blame them for the maintenance. Hot tub of course was broken.

Was great

Close to ski hill

Great deal!

Hotel itself is very dated and run down with limited staff and amenities. The premium rooms are very nice and modern tho.
