Check-in at the hotel was fine. We checked in no problems, they told us where we could park to get to our room. Upon arriving in the room, the room smelled like a nursing home, but a few sprays of perfume and it cleared up. The bathroom door didn't actually close shut, there was about a half inch gap in the door. We had to ask for another set of towels (there were only 2 in the room) we had 3 people in our room. There was no blow-dryer (most hotels these days have them) and no alarm clock in the room. The TV only got 10 channels, but it didn't matter as much, since we were barely in the room to watch TV. The air conditioner in the room was SOOO loud, it sounded like a lawn mower right in the room every time it kicked in (and it kicked in ever couple of minutes). There were a few nights during our stay, that you could hear the people yelling at each other outside in the parking lot (I understand there is nothing that a hotel can do to prevent that) but the rooms could have been more sound proof, so that you didn't hear everything that was going on.
I would have gave 1 star if it wasn't for the price of the hotel. That is why I would give it a 2 star rating. For less than $50 a night it wasn't horrible, but it definitely could have been better.
