Limited place to eat. A actual restaurant or 2 would be nice. Only food is pre-made and microwaved. Not real meals. You actually have to leave property for a real restaurant for decent food. Which is EXTREMELY INCONVENIENT! As location not walkable to other casinos that actually have returants you have physically drive to get food. Its called a resort? Noway shape or form is it a resort. No resort amenities. Majorty of rooms are VERY OUTDATED AND JUST NASTY! This place has a Major electrical problems. Was freezing whole time on casino floors. I was informed by a employee that it was kept COLD To keep the slot machines from overheating? In August

We enjoy this property but no refrigerator, microwave or TV. The little TV has one station, if you’re lucky. Friendly and nice staff. Great margaritas. We will go back. They have made some improvements since last time.

The Good, Bad and Ugly

The bad… 1. Lighting in the garage was not working on the second or third floor. 2. Pool permanently closed. 3. No restaurants. 4. No table games. 5. Ice machines don’t work. There was a note on it to buy ice in the general store. 6. Escalator was broken between 2nd and 3rd floor. 7. Flooring at main entrance was held in place with masking tape. 8 Room had noisy A/C fan and a ‘tube’ Phillips television. 9. Two elevators were whining badly and in need of service but still in use. 10. They took 3 pictures of the drivers license with a cell phone to join the players club. 11. Could not ‘check out’ via the TV. The good… 1. Check in was swift, efficient and friendly. 2. Room was clean with plenty of hot water. 3 Property has a private beach on the river for guests only that was well kept. 4. River Walk was very nice with Water Taxi stop at the property. 5. Price of the room on a Friday night was VERY reasonable. Finally, would I stay here again? Yes

Walk in the door and get hit with the smell of cigarettes and musty underwear. Unsure if the cleaning crew used a vacuum cleaner, appears to not be the case. The front desk lady was nice but management shut down any of a hope of giving my money back for the room I didn’t bother staying in. I would recommend choosing a different hotel and save yourself a headache

We booked online, they had no ice machines, the pool but showed pictures online, no restaurants you had to buy food from the bar, from desk didn't seem to care. We left and went to the Golden Nugget.
