I always liked staying at the Golden Nugget. I mean it's an older hotel so I know what I'm getting, but the front desk staff is always nice and the price is reasonable. I usually like to play the tables or the electronic poker at the bar, but this time around it seemed like the dealers/bar tenders weren't as friendly as usual. If the dealers fun then people will continue to play, even if they are losing. I usually play roulette for hours but stopped after about 15 minutes. Also the "lounge" on Sunday was packed for football and one server randomly wandered around but never approached any of the tables. It was weird and annoying. I waited for 10 minutes at the bar to order a drink and when he seemed uninterested I got a beer from my room and came back down. I like you Golden Nugget and I want to keep coming back but you need to step it up next time or I'll look elsewhere.

I was not given the room that I booked. Upon check in I was told I was “ reassigned to another room.” The room that I was given did not have a working AC with outside temperature 94* or a working refrigerator. After requesting to be moved, I was then placed in a room with king size bed and an inflatable mattress. I originally booked for two queens and non smoking room. That room as well had problems with AC, as it would turn on and off. Inflatable mattress was very uncomfortable due to back injuries. Room smelled like cigarettes
