Great views. Amazing staff. Rooms are large and comfortable.

This property is old, needs a renovation badly, I was wearing my socks the whole time the stinky carpet was disgusting. You can do better here in Boulder City. Staff is fine but the place not good.

Family of 3 stayed for 3 nights, late March. We did not experience any issues with our stay. I had considered other budget hotel options in the center of Boulder City, but decided upon Hoover Dam Lodge. After visiting center city and seeing those others, I was very happy with my choice, it was the best one. We loved the natural beauty of the location and proximity to the Railroad hiking trail, which was a fairly easy hike to the Hoover Dam. The view of Lake Mead from the room and grounds was gorgeous. We enjoyed the historic photos and info on the Hoover Dam inside the hotel/casino lobby. There was a small office for arranging kayaking and other outdoor adventures. All the staff we encountered were cheerful and welcoming. The breakfast at Bighorn Cafe was delicious and fairly priced. The hotel location is less than a mile from Goldstrike Canyon trailhead, and not far from Arizona Hotsprings trailhead.

Great place to relax.

It is an okay property but nothing in the ad or online said the pool was seasonal and currently closed. I searched for a place with a pool and hot tub, booked, checked in, ate dinner, then went to the hot tub only to learn it is closed for the season. The front desk person seemed perplexed when I asked to leave with a refund so I can book somewhere with an actual open pool.

My two little boys and I stayed here and it was wonderful! The room wasnt anything special but it was clean and there was both a microwave and a fridge! Something you don't get on the Strip! We were looking in Las Vegas for a room and all the reviews I was reading were bad! Then I decided to look in Boulder City and The Hoover Dam Lodge got great reviews so we drove the 40 minutes and it was definitely worth it!! It has cute stores, restaurants and a bar downstairs if you choose. We were thrilled our room was right by the elevators. You wont be disappointed!

Great location and nice views of lake Mead can be had on the property.

So much better than anything on the strip! The relaxing, uncrowded casinos. The easiest drink comps ever. Friendly and helpful staff. NO Stress! No hidden fees! Points redeemable for CASH! Energy cocktail drinks for FREE!! While playing at .25¢ minimums on games. And the food at the restaurant is really good and cheaper then anyplace nearby. A total gem in the dessert!! Love it and will come again and again.

I would have liked to have found a business center

No regrets staying here. Property and grounds are in great condition. Stayed 4 nites and wish we stayed more

the location is fantastic, 10 minutes from dam. the on site restaurant left something to be desired, limited selection, but good service. also, no working ice makers, you had to go to front desk to get ice with your bucket, then get back to 11th floor, where i stayed. its a casino, they do not want you in your room. the bar had video gambling at every seat, i'm not a casion person so that was a turn off. dinning in Boulder seemed very limited also. i wanted a nice steak in a sit down resturant, didn't find a place, maybe i didn't look enough. if you want to see the hoover dam this is the palce to stay.

It would be nice if the webpage for this hotel was updated to include all the amenities that are no longer available. This is a very old run down property, that is in serious need of renovation. It’s advertised that there are two restaurants when there is only one cafe, and it closes at 8pm. After that all that is available is prepackaged food that has to be microwaved. The laundry facility is out of order as well as a small arcade area.

We had to get coupons for coffee daily at the front desk which was inconvenient and then had to purchase the coffee at the store in the hotel. No-one cleaned our room the whole time we were there. Most of the staff were very friendly and gave us what we needed whenever we asked.
