The room was OK, a little nicer than Virgin River, but no direct access directly to your car. You have to walk quite a way, carrying your bags, to get to your room. Biggest problem was the attitude of nearly every employee we encountered. Front desk didn't make an effort to be friendly, business all the way. The casino employees, especially one pit boss in particular, should get another job. They were ready to fight with anyone over social distancing; quick to tell you to stand apart, even from your spouse. They were not going to hear anything you had to say....it was just "get back or get out". After a confrontation with the pit boss, he turned and muttered some profanity and expressed he wasn't going to put up with "this" today. He even told the restaurant not to seat us and we were bared from the casino floor for 8 hours.... All that because we tried to explain that we were living in the same household and didn't understand social distancing from a spouse. I get that we're all burned out with Covid restrictions, but it is what it is. One security officer say they were there for us......they should consider that without us, they wouldn't have a job. I doubt we will stay there again.
I enjoy the Casa quite a lot. I live in St. George Utah, ‘bout a 30 minute drive, so often, if I go to Mesquite to gamble, I’ll have a few drinks and end up staying overnight. I’ve probably spent 20-30 nights at the Casablanca. The staff are nice, the facilities are clean, the beds are comfortable, and the price is right. Of course there’s a downside when you’re paying $35 to $40 for a hotel room. At the Casa the downside is mainly the age of the hotel. It’s not ancient but it will remind older travelers (like me) of the 1970’s. Little things go wrong - occasionally you get a slow-draining sink or tub, or a shower head that blasts water in awkward directions. The carpet is outdated. Nothing to get in a twist over, but you are occasionally reminded that you’re not at a “cutting edge” hotel. There’s nothing that’s going to make you feel you’re not getting a great deal. Naturally, the reason this hotel is so reasonably priced is that they hope you will make liberal use of the casino, which is where they turn their real profit. But if you just steer clear of the tables, as simply a hotel, the Casablanca is hard to beat for value.
It was very good and relaxing, although they have many amenities closed or limited, it's the way it is right now.
Was cleaned and the hotel personal was very kind We like came back very soon. Thank you.
Costumer service is good! To many kids run ir and playing in the in the hallways at night.
Nice enough place, nice casino, with the unfortunate timing of being under the cloud of a duly-enforced mask mandate. The floor men spent half their time doing their jobs and the other half monitoring everyone’s mask use. This got particularly interesting when it came to smokers. The enforced policy was, unmask, puff, exhale, re-mask. Awkward that they have to continuously enforce that. The temper of many a smoker was tested as they frequently left their masks hanging between puffs. I guess the reason is, they could get shut down if they’re found in violation, so no one is really to blame, it’s just a WEARING thing to listen to all night, pun intended.
Very nice property and staff. Good place for a get away. Patrons and staff respecting Covid regulations. Will stay again for a golf vacation. Only wish is that they would update the bathroom.
We love it there! The food at the restaurants is delicious. Even the .75 cent hotdogs are delicious lol The rooms are really nice and clean. Lots of machines to play on. Staff always cleaning them as well. I live pretty far but i will definitely come back
The room were clean the staff what nice best hotel in mesquit nevada
It would of been nice to have a microwave but room was clean and loved the pillows, but the free drinks cost me about 300 bucks ;(
This place is beautiful. The pool is by far the best part. We got a cabana and the service was ok not great but they blame COVID for the lack of service in the cabana. They only had 2 waitress outside for bar orders. They took about 20-30 minutes per round. That was disappointing. The rooms were nice and big. The hotel staff at check in were nice and helpful. The buffet staff is by far my favorite. They went beyond what was asked for a special request and let me say for $9 breakfast that’s a steal! I definitely recommend this hotel with anyone with kids or a small getaway.
In my personal opinion I would’ve preferred to stay in Vegas one more night, The Hotel had us on the bottom floor but only had 1 Entrance. It took for ever to walk to the room. The pool was fun and clean and Gambling was good. However don’t expect them to ask for drinks.
Its a great place. I have been staying there for years.
Overall the facilities were great and staff were wonderful!
Quiet rooms, clean, 5 star great food, great atmosphere
Always have a clean room, and air conditioning that is in great working condition! Great restaurants and location. Always stay when visiting the area.
The staff are great, starting at the free valet to checkin staff. Rooms are clean. The pool closed at 7pm and poolside bar at 5 but we adapted😁
Due to Covid-19 restrictions, the public hot tub was not open but that is the only drawback to this stay. We love the Casablanca and frequent it at least 3-4 times a year.
