The shuttle was very convenient to get you across to the waterpark and they work vigilantly around the clock. We never had to wait more than 10 mins. There were several life guards always monitoring areas. I felt it was safe enough to let my teenagers by themselves. The toddler area at the water dome and the outdoor area was not safe though, the slides had torn plastic that could cut or cause falls for little ones. This definitely needs fixed. The checkin staff were not very Friendly, they seemed annoyed to be there. We had asked for early checkin but sincd we arrived 15 mins after two there werent any available so had to wait until 4pm for it. On another positive note whenever we needed towels, they were brought in a timely manner.

The room was not very clean did not have enough stuff for five people. The pool area at the hotel was dirty and some of the stafe was not very pleasant. One place to eat and food and drinks were very expensive.

Main entrance was dirty and dated. Used the stair well to get to our room and noticed small and medium sized cockroaches alive and dead. Once we got to our room we immediately found. Live roaches crawling on the rug and falling from the drapes when opened the curtains. Supervisor offered gift card instead of refund but eventually did give a full refund

This was our 1st stay at the Wilderness and it was very disappointing. Limited breakfast options and opened late for our hungry toddler and teenager. The rooms are extremely snug.

Fun Family Getaway
Everything was really good. The hotel room was clean and comfortable. The registration staff was super friendly and helpful. The waterpark was fun for the kids. The only complaint I had was the strong chlorine smell in the waterpark. It was so strong my husband and I both left with stinging eyes and a bit of a headache and we didn’t even get in the water.

Lovely resort with a lot of things to do on property. Free transportation between buildings. A couple staff seemed like they didn’t particularly want to talk to people, but most staff were great - especially the bus driver Alvin and the girl working at the Stone Hill Starbucks! The bathroom was very dark, but the room was comfortable and had everything we needed. It’s a little bit of a drive into Pigeon Forge, but I’d definitely stay here again!
