Fantastic amenities! Great location! Friendly service.
The staff! Very rudeness aware that when you stay at this resort you will be hammered by at least $100 a day that they never tell you about, so if you think your paying one price from Expedia or orbitz your not. This place rips you off ! The female manager is nice but the rest of the staff needs to be retrained. Never will I go back!
Prime location, great amenities, nicely sized rooms and a very friendly and accommodating staff. Highly recommend.
Hotel staff was very accommodating with any issues that arose during our stay
The pier was great, there's a really nice breeze. The free shuttle to Fort Zach was great and that is by far the best beach we have been to. The southernmost beach is unusable and covered in seaweed, definitely not the nicest beach in the Keys. There was constant construction going on that basically ruined any pool time or pier time for us. One of the 3 pools was closed due to construction. They still wanted to charge resort fees even though almost all the amenities were unusable?! Thankfully we were able to convince them that was ridiculous but even if all the "amenities" were up and running, I would never stay here again due to their high "resort fees" and a tiny room that didn't even have a microwave or place to sit other than the bed and one chair by a desk.
Our experience was not very nice for a vacation. There was very loud construction starting early in the morning; I'm talking about drilling into the outside wall of our room. When we checked in there was no mention of this what so ever and there was no compensation for the inconvenience as well. Not even a free overpriced drink. For a property that is as expensive as this that is shameful. The other thing is that there is no private beach!. They are liars. There is one tiny beach that is public that is also extremely rocky. You cannot walk into the water. The rocks came up to my knees in spots. The other beach they talk about is just some sand that is on top of a wall. I would not come back here if you paid me to.
Loved it was close to small beach and had the pier on the property. Did not enjoy my balcony view of the parking lot, not what I was expecting. The shower was VERY small in my “superior” room and I’m only 5’2”.
I liked that the resort is close to Deval st. and plenty of parking how ever you pay $25.00 per day for it. i did not like the construction that was going on but hey at least they were trying to make improvements. the front desk is is almost 2 blocks away from the rooms that are on the water. there was a small public beach (may be 50 ft long) that was poorly cleaned the first day we were there, then never touched gain and we stayed 6 days. Wasnt worth the money we spent.
We enjoyed the lovation of the resort. Our rom was clean and was suitable for a standard queen room. The $40 daily resort fee is very high. There was 1 pool closed, construction all around, extra fee for a bike for the day and no real added amenities other than a piece of watermelon poolside. We were asked by a young employee to vacate the adult pool one night even though we were quiet and not disruptive. We will not stay here again.
Very updated and clean. Excellent employeees. Loacation!
It was very clean and up to date. The bed and pillows were also very comfortable. Hotel staff was very friendly and accommodating.
We felt very much treated as extended family. everyone was so friendly and welcoming. LT and Tracey were the best!
Property was under construction so it was a bit noisy and some features were not available. The café was a big disappointment and not open for breakfast.
I wouldn’t recommend this resort due to the high cost for low amenities. Everything on the resort is super expensive and not worth the added cost of everything. They boast they have 3-4 bar/restaurants but all food comes from the Beach Cafe and isn’t good at all. I am not cheap by no means when I am on vacation and have stayed at a lot of very nice 4&5 star resorts and this one would rate about a 1 to me. Not worth the money. Stay in a cheap motel because you are going to want to spend your town exploring the island and it’s history and all the great restaurants down by the marina and Mallory square anyway.
Just awesome people were great - LT was great at our room
