Front office staff was rude and of little help regarding anything presented to them. Balance of staff around the resort were fabulous. Bugs crawling on the floor in our first floor room during entire trip, not sure if they were ants or something else, as they were tiny and did not bite. Probably just a Florida thing.

Check-in took over an hour, and the service we received from the staff was extremely disappointing. Our room had no AC and the room phone was not functioning, making it difficult to communicate with the front desk. Each time we contacted the hotel using our personal phones, we were met with a dismissive attitude rather than assistance. This experience was very frustrating and unfortunately leaves me with no desire to return to this location.

Our complaint was that housekeeping removed 2 of our coolers and 2 bags of snacks/groceries when he or she came to refresh our room on Thurs. Feb. 12. We had to ask a gentleman outside by the cleaning cart to find them. We were grateful that he found all of it, but disappointed they used a permanent marker on the coolers to write the room number on and the date. Unnecessary!

The location, room, and amenities were all very good. An area for improvement would be the friendliness of the staff. Some were very good, but there were staff that seemed bothered by us ordering food and drinks. We showed up a the cafe bar 20 minutes before 9 and a lady (seemed like a manager) didn't even greet us. She just said over and over that the kitchen is closing and we are lucky to be able to get food since the chef made an exception. For a hotel that is $600++ a night, the service should have been way better. The bartender at the pool bar was not friendly at all either. The friendlies staff member was the male bartender on Saturday night and the beach chair guy.

Watch out for upcharges!!! They charge a $50 daily parking fee to park in their lot for the benefit of staying at their resort. There is also a resort fee tacked onto whatever you pay Expedia and/or to the resort. The room we booked was not the room we were assigned. We were told at check-in that to get the room we wanted (and booked), there was a $300 per night upcharge. Instead of a Superior Room on the beach, they were going to put us in a room facing a busy street. Worse, the room we booked didn't even exist. Every morning the maids flip the deadbolt locks on the doors of the rooms that they are cleaning, and bang them every time they enter and leave a room...countless times when they are cleaning. Up and down the walkway, it sounds like guns going off...woke us up every morning. I mentioned this to the cleaning service manager, who I just happened to run into on the stairs one morning. I suggested that they give each maid a piece of rubber to wedge in the door. She stood and listened to the constant banging, agreed it was annoying, but did nothing. Upon check-in, our bed was full of sand. When we checked out, the registration staff was super busy, and they told me that they'd email me my bill. The printer was down and a lot of people were checking in--long line. In spite of repeated requests since our visit, I cannot get the office to send our invoice to see what all I paid for...$930 in upcharges. Great location. Terrible customer service.

When we arrived at 330 pm I expected an ocean view for the price I paid and the photos you have posted. After the long trip my husband wanted to shower and there was no hot water. We were told it would be fixed in a couple hours. At 9 pm they said a few more hours for the repair. The next morning we were given the option to shower by the pool. The hot water was finally repaired at 4 pm. This was not the trip I expected to celebrate my husbands 60th birthday as I splurged on a weekend getaway and had such a poor experience.
