Great hotel staff and facilities

Expected better for price paid. Broken elevator, never clean pool towels available, not enough pool chairs, ridiculous prices of drinks at tiki bar, not enough parking, small rooms. Staff courteous but not super friendly. Clean rooms. Advised property of issues, nothing resolved

Our stay was really nice. The everyday housing keeping was nice.(Glad places are doing this again) I like that we could go to multiple hotel pools near us. My only complaint is that my socks were literally black from the floor in our room. I understand people are at the pool and beach and whatever but they need a good scrubbing!

The property is clean and the pool is great. I liked that you were able to use both the campuses at the Gates and the hotel adjacent to the Gates that was called North.

It was a great beachy vibe everything was close by and staff was very attentive

very beautiful and clean,

I will not stay here again. I left my bathing suit to dry on the chair in front of my hotel room and someone stole it. I reported it to management and no one cared to help. Drinks were so weak and not worth the price. Guests were loud and obnoxious.

The rooms are not cleaned daily (no fresh towels, no restocked water), the floors were filthy, the toilet was smeared with blood from previous guest, the pool had no towels for 2 days…but there’s a $38/day “resort fee”!!?

Property is beautiful but understaffed. We had to check in at the hotel adjacent to the hotel we were staying at because of staffing issues. In other words, two hotels were sharing staff of one hotel and it took us about 45 minutes to check in. We were there for three nights and no one came in to clean our room or take out the trash.

Gates Hotel has a very nice pool area. I liked the location away from the hustle and bustle of downtown.

The pool area the room was nice

my biggest issue with everything was that there was no housekeeping - apparently they fired the service - the day we arrived! But we were not told. there was no attempt to tell us, to warn us - and only when we asked were we then told - for what we paid, i wold have appreciated more up front honesty.

This motel is decent. The pool is the best part. We didn’t swim, but when passing by it looked pretty, clean, and fun. The rooms are okay, nothing fancy. The beds are hard. This motel is on the opposite end of downtown/Duvall street. They do have a shuttle that takes you there every hour. We did not know about it the first 3 days of our trip so we spent quite a bit on Lyfts. We had an issue with the toilet on the first night and they sent someone right away and it was fixed in less than two minutes which we appreciated. They also quickly brought water bottles to our room when asked. My biggest problem was that I had to get a new debit card on the last day of our trip so the “holding deposit” for damages never made it back to me. It’s just “holding” because I don’t have that card anymore. I reached out to give them my new card number and could not get in touch with a “supervisor” I was told I needed to speak with for 4 days. They then took my number and told me someone would call me that evening or the next day...nothing. When I finally got someone, they told me they had never had this issue before and there was nothing they could do.

Everything was great 👍. The shuttle was free and it drop you off at a great location.
