Gates Hotel has a very nice pool area. I liked the location away from the hustle and bustle of downtown.

The pool area the room was nice

my biggest issue with everything was that there was no housekeeping - apparently they fired the service - the day we arrived! But we were not told. there was no attempt to tell us, to warn us - and only when we asked were we then told - for what we paid, i wold have appreciated more up front honesty.

This motel is decent. The pool is the best part. We didn’t swim, but when passing by it looked pretty, clean, and fun. The rooms are okay, nothing fancy. The beds are hard. This motel is on the opposite end of downtown/Duvall street. They do have a shuttle that takes you there every hour. We did not know about it the first 3 days of our trip so we spent quite a bit on Lyfts. We had an issue with the toilet on the first night and they sent someone right away and it was fixed in less than two minutes which we appreciated. They also quickly brought water bottles to our room when asked. My biggest problem was that I had to get a new debit card on the last day of our trip so the “holding deposit” for damages never made it back to me. It’s just “holding” because I don’t have that card anymore. I reached out to give them my new card number and could not get in touch with a “supervisor” I was told I needed to speak with for 4 days. They then took my number and told me someone would call me that evening or the next day...nothing. When I finally got someone, they told me they had never had this issue before and there was nothing they could do.

Everything was great 👍. The shuttle was free and it drop you off at a great location.

The room was a little smelly but they switched our room to the second floor and was much better

Excellent service and friendly staffs. Kendra the front desk has great personality and makes guests so welcome. I will recommend with my friends and family .

The pool area is nice. Staff was mostly friendly.

It was quite and at the North end of the Keys. Not in the busy area.

Cleanliness was good except with the COVID 19 you don’t get room service and they are not equipped to be an extended stay where they have it set up to help you keep your own room clean. They need to give better instructions

Hotel was very nice. Off the main strip of Key West; however, had a convenient free shuttle that was constantly running. We took advantage of this during our whole trip. Staff was very friendly and inviting.

What set a bad tone was being charged extra. It was all worked out in the end, but, it set the vacation off on a sour mood.

Great hotel for our family and our dog, friendly staff, love the food truck on property, good food

very nice, everything was great, clean and very confortable

Quality Inn convertet into a overrated Hotel. The next Time I prefer going to the Hilton or Marriott.

The property is an old motel that they redone , I was not impressed the bathroom was dirty , air mobile was loud

The hotel was beautiful. The pool was amazing! The staff was great and even held our luggage for us after we checked out till we had to go to the airport
