While our stay wasn’t ideal, it wasn’t anything that a complaint to the front desk would have solved. I feel like I saw so many positive reviews online and we were duped. The room was very tiny, no space to put anything in the room or bathroom. The mini blinds were broken and did nothing to block the light in the morning- or the parking lot lights at night. The AC worked but was very loud. The bathroom fan was very loud. Weird bugs on the bathroom counter. The “luxury” sheets felt like sandpaper. The pillows were tiny squares. The overall condition of the facility felt neglected. My own fault- I saw something online about a free shuttle but no such thing (I should have verified). We inquired about rentals and the guy working couldn’t have cared less. He said, not today, it’s windy. But didn’t offer any other ideas. The restaurant also had bad reviews I found after we arrived so we didn’t try- but it was dead the entire time. The beach area is not pretty or where you’d want to lounge. The shower was the smallest, most uncomfortable shower- even the shower head wasn’t adjustable. All in all, very disappointing and I wouldn’t recommend.

The place is a relic. And I was in Key West for business. Yet its a very clean, comfortable, functional relic and a lot of fun. The room was small but clean. IF I have one, maybe two complaints-nothing is perfect-is the blind facing the walkway / road side has one broken slat which could let curious passersbys look in. But I covered it with the property map. Very minor issue. All good. AND I do wish the room had a ceiling fan. Otherwise, Cute property, nice beach, cute critters on property, very nice pool, great bar, great food. This place has a fun and comfortable vibe all the way around. Definitely would stay here again.

There really isnt a beach. There are a bunch of rocks with some water in front. The water contains bull sharks, ehich is no surprise because a few feet away, they offer a shark feeding experience.

The hotel has the design of a1950s motel with the room doors opening on an external walkway, and the windows face the walkway as well, meaning NO privacy from a person walking by the room of the blinds are not closed completely - so you cannot really sleep with the blinds open. The doors open outward which gives a feeling of vulnerability because when you open the door you effectively lose control of it to anyone who might be outside. Even worse, the door locks are irrelevant. I could open the door of my room with my comb. A very insecure hotel.
