Great accomodations! One of the best locations relative to Duval Street. Hosts were great. Maintenance person and cleaning staff were friendly and accomodating. The unit was clean and comfortable. A great experience!

The house was very close to Duval Street. I understand that most homes in Key West homes are old but this one could use some TLC.The listing was listed as a whole house which wasn't quiet accurate. It had 2 units out back and at least one over the top of you. Very noisey. Can hear people talking. One couple had a big fight (I know thats not your fault) but it was so loud in the middle of the night, I felt apart of it.Overall a decent place. Just expected a little more for over a thousand dollars a night.

A Pillow Fight

Property is located downstairs on the corner of two extremely noisy/busy streets. Parking was great! Beds and pillows are super comfy and property was clean, but old. Needs some serious renovating and tender loving care. I did book it because it was a spur of the moment trip, and it was dog friendly. (5 stars for that!) Unfortunately, I am a light sleeper, so that does affect my review.

Great Location

It is definitely an historic property with some cracks in the floor boards and bathrooms but it has its charms and the location is excellent! I would stay there again!

Sweet Caroline Not so Sweet

Overall was very close to main events downtown and Duvall street. A lot of traffic on two sides of property. Was very noisy and could hear every creak when people in unit above walked around. No side yard, no laundry facility as mentioned on the description. A/C didn’t work for two days of three so very hot, no isolation. Bed was horrible, lumpy and no amenities provided. Very disappointed this trip to the keys.

Good location.

This property was just okay. Floors were filthy (our feet were creepy dirty-keep your shoes on), roaches roaming around, and there wasn’t much in the way of kitchen basics-not even a salt shaker. Toiletries and towels were good. The ‘pool’ is more a hot-tub, and wasn’t full of water. Has potential but not top notch.

Live like a local

Had an absolutely wonderful stay. The location was absolutely perfect. The unit was well furnished and had everything we needed. It was a bit on the rustic side but honestly that’s what I was expecting and what I actually wanted. It’s situated at a somewhat busy intersection so if you are a light sleeper you may have some challenges there but we didn’t seem to have any issues. Just an early wakeup from a rooster the first day. Onsite parking was perfect and there was enough space to accommodate our Suburban. We will definitely be making plans to return and stay at this location.

Location is great but…

The property really needs some upkeep and maintenance. Broken windows, doors that do not work, large holes in flooring, sad looking paint, noisy pool equipment all detract from what could be a very nice place. It’s location is very good if you want to be near the ferry and Mallory Square areas but all in all I would NOT stay here again.

Sweet Caroline

Beautifully updated old town home that retained all the charm but added modern amenities. The shared pool is small but sufficiently deep and comfortable. The location is just perfect. The property managers are consummate professionals that were immediately responsive and accommodating. We will definitely stay at Sweet Caroline again.

Floors very creaky and you feel like you’ll fall through. Lamp was broke, internet was slow, door lock didn’t work after first day and wasn’t able to be fixed, front door was cracked all the way down and you could see light. The furniture was uncomfortable and a lamp was broken. The location was great. I guess that is what we paid for. The pool was more like a large bathtub.

Steps Away from Duval & Comfortable Lodging

We arrived early due to flight schedule, and we were permitted to leave our luggage inside the gate but not in the lodge- not until an hour before the designated check-in time. However, the property is done in classic Key West style (our 25th visit), but with a bonus: the bedroom's bathroom was among the largest we have ever had on the island. We had a small hiccup with the access code not working properly, but communication with the Host was effective, and we overcame it without major incident. The location is superb, but beware of some street noise in the early morning hours. The kitchen was spacious with plenty of room in the refrigerator. Overall, our party of 7 had a memorable visit to Key West because we were able to get to every place we had planned. We packed a lot in just 3 days thanks to Sweet Caroline.

Perfect location in a beautiful neighborhood near everything we wanted to do. Spacious rooms and a wonderful front porch. Once we got to the day before our reservation the host was available and very accommodating.
