Wonderful property for those who appreciate a well maintained and decorated historic home. Parking is great, Free and they have an overflow lot next door so always had a spot during our stay. Very friendly staff. Street is busy and you can hear cars passing so if you want a completely quiet location this might be a concern to some but we didn’t mind a bit! Highly recommend!

Great stay at La Pensione Inn

We had an amazing stay at La Pensione Inn. The rooms were clean, comfortable and amazingly well decorated. For an old house it didn’t even have a squeaky floor board. The bathroom was also spotless. The pool and breakfast were also enjoyable.

Construction work right beside my bedroom window meant noise would start around 7:00am every day. Property also lacked charm, unlike other hotels in the same area. Walking distance to the main thoroughfare, though. Breakfast was okayish. All in all, not worth the price they charge.

The room was nice, the bed’s mattress was very firm, it came with a mini fridge and a microwave and also had a safe in it. The shower was very nice but the bathroom was very small. The parking lot was only for about 8 to 10 vehicles but you could park across the street at their sister facility. In the original comments I had asked for a quiet room if their was going to be any noise around the hotel, well I was put in a room on the same side where they were building a 2-story house so every morning between 7:30 and 8:00 we was woke up by the noise, and also you have to use a key to let yourself inside the hotel at La Pensione and everytime we had to play with the lock to get inside, but it was one of the cheaper hotels to stay at, so I guess you get what you pay for.

Great Location!

Great location in walking distance to Duval and southernmost point. Staff is extremely accommodating and very kind. The house is adult only and remodeled. There is a sparkling clean and private pool, plus parking (which can be hard to come by or expensive in Key West). The breakfast is great, the only thing is you have to cross the street. We always like to stay here.

Nice Victorian B & B

Great breakfast, accommodations, pool. The AC had gone out so the hotel staff had a portable unit in the room. It cooled ok but was loud, running the entire time. They did offer us another room that was multi-level but we didn’t really want to have stairs in the room. Hopefully the AC will be fixed before the next guest's stay.

Great location with sister property, Silver Palm, across the street. That is where you check in and have the free breakfast. The staff was super friendly and made us feel right at home just as soon as we walked in the door. The hotel was a converted home that was very well kept and our room walked out directly to the pool area which was very nice. It was quiet and private even being that close to the pool. The portable A/C unit that was in the room was pretty loud, so that made it harder for us to fall asleep, but that was the only negative I can say for this hotel. All in all it was worth the money we paid to be so close to Duval Street and all the locations we wanted to visit.

My room was super-cute, clean and well stocked. (i.e. microwave, refrigerator, bathroom supplies, area information booklet, etc.) The staff was knowledgeable about great restaurants, beaches and local hangouts. The pool and main areas were beautifully landscaped, well lite and clean. Breakfast, which was across the street at their sister hotel, was continental and offered an omelet station. I would definitely stay there again!

The room was beautiful and the bed comfortable. The bathroom was spacious and had a great shower. It was relaxing to cool off in the pool after a hot afternoon walking around site seeing. We loved the fresh, made to order omelets for breakfast!! You do have to check in at their sister property right across the street and breakfast is served there also, but that was not an issue for us.

Amazing stay at a great property.

The property was amazing. Our room was very large, and everything about it was clean, comfortable and in excellent condition. Property is located in a great spot just a few blocks from Duval and it was easy to walk to everywhere we wanted to go. Parking right at the property meant not having to hunt for parking. Would definitely return here. Highly recommend this property.
