Overall was good. Very disappointed with breakfast. Was not a true B and B. Not sit down and was somewhat limited for the rental rate. Internet was not good. TV station selection was very limited. Would not book this one again.

I highly recommend a deluxe king room with access to the 2nd floor balcony, which affords elevated seating to reflect on life while steeped in classic Old Florida charm. Outside noise can penetrate these rooms, but it largely abates at night. If you make your peace with it, it can even enhance the experience: Truman Ave bustles from below (scooters, subwoofers, and Harleys, the latter two generally busting eardrums everywhere else on Key West) and daytime arriving flights, whose glide paths are beautifully framed by the east balcony pillars and dapple the blue sky with a colorful array of passing airline tail colors. This might sound mildly sarcastic--it's not. The whole experience was lovely. We would happily rebook and stay here again.
I loved the b and b. It was beautiful and quiet. My first time in a b and b. One thing that I wish we were told but it's partly our fault is that you need to lock the room door when you leave. It's a habit to leave a hotel room and not have to lock it. We left for dinner and came back to it unlocked. It was a laughable mistake though. But it's the keys so we were not afraid of theft. The other thing is we wish we had a little more light in the windows. We didn't have a balcony which was not a problem. But the shutters where closed a little to much. But otherwise we loved the room, large and spacious, the bathroom was beautifully lit and spacious as well. The downstairs wrap around porch was very peaceful and relaxing to just sit and watch the people go by. We loved our stay and will be back. Thank you very much La Pensione.
We liked the location. We liked that it was adult only. It was perfect for our get a away from the kids for the weekend. definitely will do again
La Pensione was very clean and a great central location. The innkeepers were very friendly and helpful. The only thing I didn’t like was that it was on a main street with noisy car traffic. Overall it was a great experience.
10 room bed and breakfast; felt very homey. Staff was very friendly, communicated well and made us feel welcomed. This is my second stay with family in the past 6 weeks. A bit of a walk to Mallory square to see the sun set and watch street acts. But, free parking at the property is a plus.

This a quaint hotel located within walking distance of all the action in Key West. Everything was great, from our clean and spacious room, the friendly staff, to the the pool, happy hour, breakfast, and free parking right on the property. This was our first time staying here and we look forward to booking again.
