The reservation process was great, and the location was wonderful.There was actually no communication with the property manager, and I would change the requirement to fill out the paperwork at the front office upon arrival as it was confusing with no one there.I had great communication with the local contact who was very helpful!There was an issue of the patio sliding door not closing and he did his best to address it, however it still needs to be repaired or replaced.Would also recommend that the front door lock be repaired and updated to be more secure.Overall, great place, location, and apartment/room!Thank you!

Awesome condo with great ocean view right in Kona!

This condo has it all..it is spacious, clean, well-stocked, and beautifully decorated with a great ocean view from the large lanai. The location is so conveniently walkable to downtown Kona. The grounds and pool are lovely. The property manager was great. We loved our stay here and would stay again.

B 510I would like to thank our host for allowing us to stay at their home. This is one of the best units we have stayed at this complex and would love to return at a later date. The unit was very well stocked for anything you wanted to do; you did not have a need for anything it was supplied. When we arrived there was a nice welcome bowl filled with treats which was so nice and very appreciated.I cannot say enough about our host and their beautiful condo; they made our vacation so enjoyable.

Awesome Condo

We really enjoyed this condo. It is spacious, and has a well equipped kitchen and beach supplies--umbrella, chairs, cooler, snorkel gear, etc...It is located in Kona a short walk from shopping and dining, is close to beaches, and the view from the lanai is wonderful. We would definitely rent this condo again!

Best VRBO Experience I've Ever Had!

The title says it all. This place is amazing in every aspect! From the location within a very short walking distance to town to the view, pool and on island contact person we couldn't have asked for more. They have snorkels, fins, boogie boards, coolers (so you don't need to bring your own) to little things like having spices for cooking, aluminum foil, laundry detergent, etc. I don't think they've missed anything. The beds are comfortable, AC works great and the complex is quiet. I would recommend this place to anyone. You definitely won't be disappointed. Oh, and the liasion for the owner on island is great about checking on you and making sure you are comfortable. We will be back!

Fantastic Stay in the Heart of Kailua-Kona

Our Unit had a Wonderful location, within walking distance to many restaurants and shops. We arrived and were greeted with a very nice welcome basket of snacks, including macadamia chocolates (which we are still eating at Home now.) Our Unit was located on the top floor of our building and had easy access to the parking garage and entrance via an elevator that was close (but not too close) to the Unit. It also included all of the amenities that one could need to make our trip perfect (both for making coffee and anything we wanted to eat; and beach chairs, an umbrella, etc. - plenty of everything!) Having a dedicated and covered parking spot was greatly appreciated too! Colin, the on Island Manager, was in contact several times before our arrival and on our day of departure; and we knew that we could reach him ANYTIME, but we never had any need to contact Colin. There is so very much to do on the Big Island that we were not in the Unit for much time each day; but it was great for everything that we expected, including sleeping, laundry, showers, etc. There were two huge TVs, but we barely watched one, only because we were enjoying the Island. Great location

The condo was very nice and the only issue we had was with bug bites during the night in bed. One beach chair was on its last legs and hard to set up, and lanai chairs were a bit wobbly. Otherwise a beautiful place and convenient to beach and restaurants.

We loved the location and being able to walk to shops and restaurants. Having two bathrooms was great! The kitchen had all of the conveniences for preparing many of our meals. The views from the lanai were amazing.

Great stay

This was an excellent experience from beginning to end. The communication with the property manager during the checkin and checkout process was exceptional. He was very accommodating and flexible with our itinerary and made sure that we were taken care of during our stay. The property itself is clean and in a very convenient and walkable location. Fun bars and restaurants near by and no need to worry about parking or taking an Uber for a night out. The overall complex is quiet and safe. There is some pool/beach equipment in one of the closets that was a bonus. Would definitely be happy to stay here again!

Location was very convenient. It was a 2 min walk to the corner of Ali’i Drive. It was easy to get to shops, restaurants, etc and didn’t have to deal with the traffic and noise of Ali’i. The Condo was comfortable for my family of 4 and was well stocked. We had everything we needed and then some.

Kona Pacific Stay

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay. The property was very clean, freshly remodeled, and tastefully done. We loved the ocean view and the close easy walk into town. There was a problem with the A/C units draining water that leaked back into the bedroom carpet. The onsite coordinator "Colin" was extremely helpful and made a great effort to create a temporary solution. Long term the A/C units will need to be replaced. Thank you, Colin, for all your help.

Relaxing Solo Vacation

Condo owner contacted me via text a couple of weeks before I even showed up with check in procedure and other helpful info about the property. View was partial ocean, so there was plenty of water viewable from the lanai, which was very comfortable and considerably private, though sunsets weren't directly visible. I wouldn't count this against the property as a whole though. Location was close to a couple of small beaches and several restaurants and convenience stores (including at least one ABC store very close by, and only a couple of blocks from a farmer's market and bigger shopping strip. I had a few questions during the stay that I was able to send the rental owner and got very prompt, very helpful replies. Would recommend to any adults looking for a relaxing time on Big Island, and I would happily book again with the same owner in the future.

Very impressive property

We’ve stayed in many similar properties but this was clearly the best. The unit was fully provided with high-quality sheets towels. The kitchen was modern and well-maintained. The availability of a barbecue and pool added to the enjoyment property was very quiet and the landscaping was spectacular.

A room with a view

I know Kona Pacific, this is my 3rd and from its lanai I could see my own apartment in the building next door, Kona Mansions. If you want to live in Big Island Kona Pacific is the best. It is well located but quiet, solid construction, elevator, big lanai (that is balcony), spacious rooms and all amenities like ACs, fridges, washing machines, as well as convenient parking. What most KP apartments don't have is good ocean views. However this particular apartment has the best ocean views I saw from either KP or KM. Tips for visitors: Best place to shop, Costco and KTA. Nice walk in the morning Alli Drive towards Keahou. Pleasant breakfast Lava Java. Best beach Mauna Kea. Nice local tour Napoopoo drive to Painted Church and the Pu'uhonua O Honaunau National Historic Park. You can snorkel nearby.

Great Walkable Location
