The location of the hotel is great. It is within close walking distance of shops and restaurants. The staff at the hotel was very accommodating. The person at the front desk offered me some cookies, but they were out. The next time I went by the front desk, she had a bag with my room number on it with cookies inside. She was very friendly. Unfortunately, I was tired and did not catch her name. The hotel only had two elevators and they were extremely slow. The park garage was under ground and was extremely tight. They were doing construction on the street out front. The breakfast wasn't as good at this hotel as some of the other Homewood Suites hotels.

We stayed in the full, three room suit and were super impressed with everything about the room. Clean, well appointed. Two full bathroom. There was 1.5 kitchens in the rooms, fully stocked with real, plates, bowls, cups, juice pitcher, toaster, ect...right down to the detergent for the dishwasher. Guests definitely get what they pay for at the hotel. We were blown away with the high quality for our stay. One minor drawback was finding and using the tight underground parking. Aside from that, we will be happy to return, when we are able to.

clean , quiet , close to down town attractions, easy to get to, great this place.....we were in town for super crawl, it was a perfect location.....2 blocks for the event and lots of choices for food close by.....

This hotel is one of my favorite hotels in Canada. The hotel is strategically located in the Downtown of Hamilton and this make it easily accessible to every part of the city. There are many good restaurants close to this facility. There are several grocery stores where you can buy food items if you prefer to do your own cooking. The complimentary breakfast is very good, the staff are friendly and welcoming. The only downside of the hotel is the evening complimentary food. There is no variety at all. They need to do more in this area to meet up with standard of Homewood Suites.

Wonderful hotel, would definitely come back again. As I disabled person I was a bit concerned about the suite but I couldn't fault it. It suited my needs perfectly and I would definitely recommend it to anyone.

After a long flight, we received a warm welcome at the reception with complimentary dinner. The rooms are clean with fresh towels, nice breakfast and wonderful staff. My family and I will surely stay here again

This is a hard review to write (and my stay is not complete yet) Don't get confused cause this review covers both negative and positive. General: The hotel is beautiful! The rooms are very nice as well. The suites offer an (almost) full kitchen - really the only thing you are missing is an oven. the pool is nice, a little small, but it works. The food service is great - free continental breakfast every morning and Happy hour (with food) Monday To Thursday for dinner time. Background: My family (2 adults, 2 kids and a cat) have been at this hotel for 4 months so far due to a fire. Front desk staff: These ladies and gentlemen are great! They make it feel like home and are very hospitable. They are always friendly and smiling, and sympathetic if I look like I've had a bad day. I get greeted every time I come back and they wave good bye every time I leave. They do everything they can to make your stay comfortable. I have Never had any problem with these ladies and gentlemen. I believe they are not appreciated enough! Food and drink staff on the Mezzanine are wonderful as well. They greet us every morning, ask us how our day is. talk about things (good and bad). They SPOIL my kids by making them "special drinks" (non alcoholic cocktails) or bringing them cupcakes on their birthday, or just bringing them extra bacon if they hear them asking. Really does help it feel like home! Housekeeping. Some of the girls are awesome, they go above and beyond when they clean. Sadly, its only some, and not even the majority. We have had many instances where we asked for cleaning, or had the sign off of our door and no one shows up, or we have to call down 2-3 times. Some of them have been outright rude when we are just saying hi or greeting them in the hallway. We have had a complaint regarding the "smell" in our room and when asked what it was so we could address it we were told it smell like cat - cat food and clean litter. Yes it will smell like a cat, we have a cat - But its a pet friendly hotel. If cleaners can't tolerate the smell of cat food or clean litter maybe you shouldn't be working in a pet friendly hotel. There needs to be some consideration to the length of stay. IF an animal is in an area for a weekend, it doesn't effect the area as much, but this is 4 months. Management. When we first came to stay at the hotel the management was very sweet and considerate of our circumstance and seemed to be going out of their way to make our stay comfortable. Peter was awesome! Sadly, the management has changed in the past few months and don't seem to have the same level of care as the previous managers. when we have addressed our concerns regarding smells in the hallways/coming into our rooms (such as marijuana smoke) the managers seem to just shrug it off. We have been told - oh they're from the US so they are used to being able to smoke in hotels or Oh, its just the football players. It shouldn't matter who you are or where you're from, everyone should be treated equally and this is a no smoking hotel. We don't make noise, we are not demanding. We try to be clean, we do no break things. All we ask for is fair treatment and to be treated as welcomed guests. NOT UNWANTED Guests. You are supposed to be the most hospitable company in the world – by creating heartfelt experiences for Guests. The cleaning staff and management has ruined that experience.

Booked this hotel in conjunction a wedding at the Ancaster Mill. Quiet, clean with excellent mattress. Split-toilet and sink area. We just used the room and hotel to sleep but the kitchen facilities looked great. So-so complimentary breakfast. Mix-up with the bill.

Excellent, comfortable, well appointed, spotless, great staff, everything you need to stay away for business and feel comfortable. I love the Homewood Suites and Hilton in general. This location had little comforts that made all the difference, like excellent air quality in the rooms, super comfy bed, ceiling fan above the bed, a full size fridge, so no squishing your left overs into a bar fridge. The place is spotless, the staff professional. I actually found a business trip relaxing.

Stayed here for a family wedding. It was lovely, with underground parking, and the complimentary breakfast was excellent! The suite was large, with a full kitchen, impressive! If I had had more time, I would have used the pool, and relaxed indefinitely!
