A/C not working in room, they send a technician and it did not fixed the problem. Requested a room change and no answer back from staff.

The room was comfortable and clean. The phone service was out our entire three-day stay. The service in the restaurant was very poor - the staff need extensive training.

Our five-day stay at the Crowne Plaza Hotel Guadalajara was very pleasant. The hotel was clean and the staff were friendly. The service in the restaurant near the lobby was a little slow, but I believe it was because they were so busy.

When we travel to Guadalajara we usually stay with family. We were fortunate to find this hotel very close to our relatives. We were planning on staying only a few days (5), but ended staying 9! We couldn't have picked a more accomodating location. The only thing that was uncomfortable was the room bathroom. We found it a bit small for 2 adults trying to get ready in the morning. The restaurant was very tasty and the staff went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. On our last day we had to run some errands before the 1 pm checkout and our car broke down. We called the hotel and explained our situation and they extended our checkout without added charges.
Beautiful Hotel. However, upon check-in I was asked for my credit card to pay for my 3 nights. I explained that I had already paid through [...]. They asked for, and I provided, my [...] receipt. They kept the receipt and again asked for a credit card which I assumed was for their protection should I check out leaving items on my account. When I checked out, I was told there were no additional charges which is correct since I used none of the extra amenities. When I checked my bank balance when I returned, I noted an additional $150.00 charged to my credit card. I am in the process of trying to resolve this issue.
Although my time was short it was well worth it I enjoyed staying at the hotel. I would have liked more television choices because I was staying with a baby so the night life was not part of the agenda. I would have preferred to be able to lock the liquor cabinet. My two year old thought it was a game to take out the small bottles. It was pretty clean. Some things needed attention. I enjoyed the time there and will be back at least once by December preferably two times.
