We stayed two nights at this charming boutique hotel, which is located in the Americana neighborhood of Guadalajara! The photographs and reviews can not justify how amazing this hotel and neighborhood are. When you arrive they give you a complimentary glass of wine PLUS they had free wine from 6-8 pm in their garden, which is absolutely AMAZING! We couldn't believe that we were in the middle of the city. Our room was spectacular - an amazingly comfortable bed and very clean bathroom. The neighborhood is fabulous, as you are surrounded by restaurants (everything you can possibly imagine). Actually, the neighborhood reminded us of Suaidye (a neighborhood in Istanbul). Don't pass-up on this hotel - you won't regret it! Fabulous!
Wonderful garden inside a great BnB with gracious hostess and a great staff that is attentive to a very high grade of service. Located in a very nice neighborhood with many excellent choices for meals.
Anita Renteria (No. 12) was recommended by Armando and was absolutely perfect. All of the staff were attentive but not in our face. We always had everything that we needed. We are returning for a month in September/October.
This was my second stay at Villa Ganz and I was equally impressed as I was during my first stay. The hotel staff is extremely professional and responsive to all questions. They are very knowledgeable about the Guadalajara area and were quick to arrange for taxi's, private tour guides, and even arranged for dinner to be delivered to our rooms during a rain storm. The location, amenities, and excellent service from the staff cannot be beat. Relaxing in the garden with a glass of wine in the evenings is magical. Villa Ganz is my go-to Guadalajara place every time. I highly recommend it!
We stayed in their premiere suite on the second floor overlooking the back yard. It was bright and spacious and beautifully furnished! King bed was ultra cozy and the bathroom even had a soaking tub. The property is centrally located and Uber could get us anywhere under 35 pesos! Our only let down was the breakfast, it is not in keeping with the "Boutiqueness" of the property. The garden setting is lovely, but the buffet table lacks any appeal. It's your basic complimentary breakfast, a few cold cereals, toast and fruit. For such an extraordinary property I guess I was expecting fresh baking, incredible jams, hot quiche, something a bit more remarkable. We will go back if we are ever in Guadalajara again. Restaurants close by are good and staff are very accommodating.
Amazing stay! Your greeted with wine and fruit in your elegant clean comfortable luxurious room. Class culture all in one. Wine and cheese served daily at 6. Beautiful garden where breakfast is served daily. Tranquility in the middle of a busy town. Walking distance to great bars and restaurants
I have heard so many things about this hotel and I'm glad I stayed here to experience it. It wasn't really my cup of tea it's more for couples but it is worth it. The staff was friendly and the rooms are nice. I will be back but hopefully with a lover.
This boutique hotel will charm you and pamper you. It is an oasis in the city. All amenities are modern: hair dryer, enough plugs for all our electronic devices, and wi-fi. All this in an atmosphere that is relaxed, full of flowers and tropical plants, a quiet spot in the middle of a lovely part of town. There are many restaurants in walking distance, and the food at the hotel is excellent too.
We found this hotel online and using Google maps were a little concerned because of some construction next door, but that was finished while we were there and we loved the location. We were able to walk to the historic district (2.5 miles) or take a short cab ride and then come home at night and choose from multiple restaurants in the neighborhood. The room was large and well-equipped, even down to the wine and fruit on our arrival. The bed was comfortable and we even got chocolates on our pillow at night. The staff was helpful and friendly and spoke English, which was appreciated. A continental breakfast was included in the cost of the room, but we could also order off the menu for a larger breakfast. Breakfast was served in the courtyard in the back of the house. There was also a cocktail hour from 6-8 with wine and snacks. All in all, we felt pampered and loved our stay in this beautiful, old home.
We spent 3 nights at Villa Ganz recently. The property is delightful, comfortable and well maintained. We had a garden room and the area is just so relaxing. Wonderful staff. Highly recommend. The location is excellent..easy to get to major attractions
